Playo DVD media

Hey, are these Playo dvd+rs reliable? Staples will be selling the 50pk for $5(without rebates) in president's day, so are they reliable for $5? thanks for any info.

I'm sure they are terrible, but for 5 bucks they are worth a shot.

I have a 50 pack of them and use them in my stand alone Sony DVD-R. So far I have had trouble with 4 discs out of the 25 or so I have used. 2 of them the recorder wouldn't recognize. 1 of them wouldn't record past 23 minutes. The last one just completely freaked out my recorder so bad I had to pull the plug to reset the thing.

I'm going to pass on these. I'll just wait when Staples has the Staples DVD+Rs on sale.

Office max has a 50 pack of dvd+r's for $14.99 starting tomorrow. Very good media.

I've only used Playo for storing data and I haven't had any problems with it
