So I bought a package of Totino's Pizza Rolls for $5.79. I followed all of the instructions and it's only going to give me 250 points not 500. The app doesn't say anything about how much each one pays only that you get 500 points but I guess it's up to 500 points. I will try to track down some kind of spreadsheet that shows how many points each of them give.

The good news is that you can submit up to 15 Totino's products so you can get quite a lot of points. I don't know if that is 15 separate transactions or if you can do all of them in one which I will clarify by contacting them.
**Edit**I did some research and found this page that shows what each of them give out. Should have done this before I went shopping but now everyone will know:

Streaming some PowerWash Simulator to check out the new Tomb Raider content if you want to see that in action along with some of the PS5 version.

Edit: Here's the archive. Made a chapter for the PS5 version to show the control changes I made to get it to feel better than the default scheme. The Tomb Raider stuff is more quality jobs that seems like it'll take a good 10 hours or so to finish, which is great for more free content. The platinum is probably a good 40-50 hours to get if you know what you're doing to not miss trophies for many of the individual stages, so it's fairly easy. I'm going to keep working on the control stuff to get a good feel and post what I suggest for those that are interested.

Pro move:

If your fridge has a door ice dispenser, empty the ice and turn off the maker.  Then swap in Pizza Rolls for that instant snack.

Where does French bread pizza rank on that list?
I feel like French bread pizza is a step above those three but at the same time it's enough towards actual pizza that I would rather just eat real pizza at that point. But don't get me wrong if someone puts French bread pizza in front of me I'm demolishing it.

There's this chicken tikka samosas at Costco that's like a better version of pizza rolls.

Edit: If you like that sort of thing at all, anyway.

How long does it take to beat Elden Ring?

Not like 100% or platinum but like to get to the ending but also do a good chunk of side missions.

How much do I multiply that by knowing that I massively suck at it?

So far, at 60 hours, I killed the boss behind the mist on the bridge to the castle and one miniboss in the first catacombs near the starting area.

I also killed the golden knight riding around near the beginning and one of those red guys that attacks you in the round table room.

Based on your pace, I'd expect you to take at least another 60-70 (if not 100+) hours to get to the final boss because you've barely scratched the surface.

A typical Soulsborne player casually playing through could probably get to the end within 30-40 hours.

From the PS Blog Post:

We also wanted to provide an update on the PlayStation Plus Collection that has been offered as a benefit to PlayStation Plus members on PS5 since 2020. On May 9 the PlayStation Plus Collection will no longer be offered. If you haven’t redeemed the titles in this collection yet, you can still do so until May 9, which will enable you to access those titles even after this date for as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus member.

So if you have or get a PS5 before May 9th, be sure to claim the PS Plus collection games before they go away.

Meh they already removed at least one game from that and now they are getting rid of all of them. Only way I can see myself getting a ps5 before then is if they release a slim line bundled with something.

Going to find a friend with a PS5 to hook me up lol

Sony Q3 earning call is tomorrow night. They will probably provide some more detail and guidance on what to expect for the rest of the year or they might just save that for their end of year Q4 report.

Since the maximum amount of transactions is 15, the 130 or 160 count packages would give you the most since they are 500 points each. Now, I think the 130ct were $11 at my local grocery store. Let's assume it's the same for you. 15 of them at $11 each comes to $165. You would get 7500 points. Add those points to the bonus 500 for downloading the app and that would give you 8,000 points which is $80 in PSN credit or to use however else you want. You have until the end of March to buy them and fill in all the claims by May 1st. Is it a good deal? I think it is if you buy that kind of food anyway. You could always just get the 50CT for 250 points which cost me $5.79 if you don't want to spend that much and you would still get 3750 if you bought 15 of them which combined with the 500 points for signing up would be enough for a $40 PSN card.

15 * 130 = 1,950 pizza rolls!

Honestly, this thread could use that once in a while. It's a welcome change.

But also The Last of Us series is better than both the games, which are overrated.

(I haven't watched or played any of them)

First boss plus the first Tree Sentinel... You've got a loooooooooooooooooong while left. I beat that first boss in about 10-15 hours, and I still took 100+ hours total, and I'm mediocre at the game.

Decided to pick up Powerwash Simulator last night and I really enjoyed it. Very therapeutic. I’m having a bad day at work and actually looking forward to going home to play it more.

About to pull the trigger on Diablo Prime Evil collection at $19.79 since I couldn't decide the last time it went on sale.

Always played Diablo on PC, is this a good port?  any reason to not get it on PS5?

Diablo 3 controls very well and I played through it multiple times.

Diablo 2 controls very poorly and I couldn't get past Act 2. That one is best to stick with PC. Inventory management in particular is uggh. The Tetris thing does not work well on controllers.

Artifex Mundi is getting crazy with their pricing on Playstation. Just saw a recent one of their hidden object games in new releases on the PSN store and it was $17.99!

Streaming some Trigger Witch for those that want to see it in action while it's $6 on PSN right now.

Edit: Here's the archive. It's a fun Link to the Past-style action adventure game where instead of Link, you're a witch in a world with guns instead of magic. A bit of Enter the Gungeon meets Link to the Past that works well for this kind of game.

Even on PC, the management of inventory is a pain. I had forgotten that, but the game is still enjoyable there.

Need some help with a deal on ps + extra, i missed the 59.99 deal a few weeks ago, anyone have a go to site they use thats legit? thanks in advance

https://blog.playstation.com/2023/02/02/ps5-beta-introduces-discord-voice-chat-vrr-support-for-1440p-and-more/

Invited beta participants from the U.S., Canada, Japan, U.K., Germany, and France will receive an email with instructions on how to download the beta and get started. As with previous betas, some features may not make it into the final version or may see significant changes when the final system update releases globally in the coming months.

New Social Features
  • Join a Discord Voice Chat on Your PS5 Console. You can now join Discord voice chats on your PS5 console and easily chat with friends on most other gaming platforms. To start, link your Discord and PlayStation Network accounts from your PS5 console following these steps*. Then, use the Discord app on your mobile device or computer to get a Discord voice chat going on your PS5 console (make sure your Discord app is updated to the latest version). You can also let your Discord friends see when you’re online and what you’re playing.
  • Note: if you’ve linked your PlayStation Network and Discord accounts in the past to display what game you’re playing, you’ll need to link your accounts again on your PS5 console to grant the new permissions needed for Discord voice chat.
  • Start or Request a Share Screen from Your Friend’s Profile. You can now send a Share Screen request or start sharing your screen with a friend, directly from their profile. Simply select the Share Screen icon on your friend’s profile to start a new session.
  • New “Join Game” Icon in Party Chats. On the voice chat card, a joinable icon will be displayed for party members playing a game you can join. You can join the game directly by selecting the player, and then selecting [Join Game] from the menu.
  • New “Friends Who Play” Tile. In game hubs, you can now see which of your friends have the game, who is currently online, and who is currently playing the game. By selecting the tile, you can see what your friends are doing now, and you can also access your friends’ profiles, where you’ll be given more interaction options.
  • Manually Upload Game Captures to PlayStation App. You can now manually select and upload individual screenshots or game clips to PS App from your PS5 console, then easily share them on social media or with your friends.** This feature complements the auto-upload functionality that currently exists on PS App.
New Gameplay and Personalization Options
  • Variable Refresh Rate support for 1440p. You can now enjoy smoother visual performance when using a VRR-compatible HDMI 2.1 display at 1440p resolution, when playing a game that supports VRR.***
  • We’ve also made some updates to the parameters of the PS5 console’s 1440p output test, enabling 1440p support for a wider range of HDMI displays.
To check if your HDMI device is compatible, go to [Settings] > [Screen and Video] > [Video Output] > [Test 1440p Output].

[*]Game Library Enhancements.
  • You can now also sort and filter games when adding games to a gamelist.
  • You can use filters in your library to easily find PS VR games, as well as PS VR2 titles when PS VR2 launches later this month.

[*]Game Presets for Multiplayer Session Preferences. You can set your preferences to manage who can join and who can invite other players to multiplayer sessions you’ve created for supported games.
  • Go to [Settings] > [Saved Data and Game/App Settings] > [Game Presets] > [Online Multiplayer Sessions], and select your preferences in [Who Can Join] and [Who Can Invite].

New Accessibility and Ease-of-use Features
  • PS4 to PS5 Saved Data Migration. We’re making it easier for you to access your PS4 saved data on your PS5 console through two ways:
When you download or install a PS4 game on your PS5 console, a notification that PS4 saved data is available in your PlayStation Network cloud storage will appear (if your PS5 console doesn’t already have saved data for the game). Simply select the notification to download your saved data.
  • When you download or install a PS5 game that can load PS4 saved data, such as the PS5 version of a game that was also released on PS4, the same notification will appear (if the game supports this feature).
  • (Note: online storage for saved data requires a PlayStation Plus subscription)

[*]PS5 to PS5 Data Transfer. You can now easily transfer the data on your PS5 console, including games, saved data, user profiles, settings, screenshots, and videos, to another PS5 console using a local Wi-Fi network or a LAN cable. You can either transfer the data during the initial PS5 console setup or later from the settings menu. This process doesn’t remove or modify the data on your original PS5 console.
[*]Screen Reader Improvements. The screen reader now gives more detailed guidance when navigating the console. It will now tell you which direction you can move from the currently selected component, as well as your current position in a component with multiple items. Additionally, when using the screen reader to view web pages, you’ll now see borders around the section that’s being read aloud.
[*]Wireless Device Update for DualSense Wireless Controller. You can now update the DualSense wireless controller device software with a wireless connection. If you have trouble updating the device software wirelessly, connect your controller to your PS5 console using the USB cable to update it. You’ll be able to update wirelessly for the next update.

Game Capture Using Voice Command (Preview): U.S. and U.K. limited release
  • Voice Command now supports using your voice to save video clips of your gameplay.
Say “Hey PlayStation, capture that!” to save a video clip of your recent gameplay. The default duration saved is based on your settings.
  • You can also save a specific duration of your gameplay, from 15 seconds to 60 minutes. For example, to save 5 minutes, say “Hey PlayStation, capture the last 5 minutes”.
  • Say “Hey PlayStation, start recording” to manually start a new gameplay recording. You can then say “Hey PlayStation, stop recording” to end the recording and save the video clip.
  • Voice Command (Preview) is currently available in English for beta participants with accounts registered to the U.S. and U.K.
