I looked through like five different Dollar Generals for that Portable Sega Genesis last year and none of them had it. I think it's all a rouse.

I go to Dollar General every week, and have never seen anything of the sort. 

The only thing my DG carries are DVD boxsets of terrible Asylum or Full Moon movies.

...of which I own about 20.

They usually put these in the holiday area or similar aisle. I have seen them even on the automotive section.

I got that wireless genesis set for Christmas last year & it's really nice.  Not only does it have a ton of Genesis games built into it, but it also accepts standard Genesis carts & has 2 controller ports for normal Sega controllers (which feel a lot better than the wireless ones that come with it).
