How do these work? Do they/can they redirect mail from going to my house to the box? I don't have much privacy at home because of my parents...Thanks in advance!

The small boxes run roughly $25-30 for the year, and the largest ones are aroudn $120 for a year. Compared to a place like The UPS Store where they're $60 for 3 months, it's a good deal. The downside is that you can't get UPS packages in a PO Box.

If you're looking to forward the mail to a PO Box, you'll just need to fill out the little change of address card at the post office. It's relatively quick to get things forwarded to the box, and doesn't cost anything.

FYI - pretty sure you've gotta be 18 to rent a PO Box. If you're looking to hide your porn from the parents, it might not be the best option.

Affirmative. It's just a matter of having your mail forwarded somewhere other than home. 'Course, your parents are just going to wonder why all of your mail stopped coming to the house.

Sign up for online statements.

Why are you bumping? Yes if you get PO box and fill out the card, then yes it will go to the PO box instead of your parents house.

Why the bump? Your question's been answered.

You could always, I dunno, move out and have all the privacy you need. 20 years old, still living with your parents, and enough credit card debt to need to hide it from them is not a good way to start your adult life.

I don't mean to sound rude but I made the credit card mistake when I was your age as well and it was a long hard road back to being debt free.

Some lessons just need to be learned first hand though. Good luck.

Just needed to verify :) Thanks everyone. It's not much debt, but my mom is a psychotic control freak :whistle2:\. I also don't plan on moving out until after I graduate with an RN license. Lets hope I get into the 2008 program
