Possible Half Life 2 serial

Ok - so I was going through some stuff and found some old Half Life 2 discs and one had the serial number on the back of the disc sleeve. I remember buying this years ago. I don't think I have a steam account and don't remember ever using this serial but it's possible I did. So there is a *chance* it will work. First come first serve - post if you got it and it worked - I'm curious.

It is a HL2 key, but, you need the disc. =/

It might work if you redeem it on steam, I already have Half Life 2 so I can't check.

Thank OP, I was able to redeem it. Luckily a friend of mine had the retail discs still.
