I really like music from older games... in fact, one of my favorite aspects of playing older stuff for the first time is discovering an amazing soundtrack that enhances the whole experience. There's a lot of good, relatively obscure stuff out there, so let's hear some of your favorites.

The entire reason to play Tenchu was the soundtrack. It was amazing. Or at least, this song was:

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment was a phenomenal game, and it had a similarly sublime soundtrack. Here's one of the less RPG-ish songs:

Oh, and let's try to avoid the utterly obvious and completely overplayed songs. We've all heard One-Winged Angel before, we don't need it again.
