[quote name='io']Yeah, but it isn't nearly as automatic. Sure, I've done it plenty of times. But in recent days I've been shot down because of various reasons. One place said I needed the original, and another said just 1 per day per customer (I was trying to do it twice). I just went ahead and traded the second set without it anyway as it is a pain to drive all the way back there just for 2 games. The guy even said "Are you sure? You could come back tomorrow?". Yeah, like a 30 mile round trip is worth $5 in GS credit

LOL, that is funny that they even suggested that. Yea, you are right that it isn't nearly as automatic as the $10 bonus. That promo automatically comes up when you trade in two games that meet the criteria. The $15 has some YMMV to it, and like you said, if you do anything other than trade in the two games for the $15 credit on that transaction, the system doesn't seem to like it.
I guess I have just had great success so far, being that I'm 9/10 when using the $15 coupon. Obviously some luck and skill has been involved. Discussing the games you have pre-ordered at the store helps out. Putting down a pre-order for a upcoming game really helps too. Renewing your edge card would probably be a slam dunk!
I just think more CAGs should try it out, if you print it out and they say they need the actual card you just tell them you don't have it and take the $10 bonus. Or just pre-order a copy of NCAA and get a new $15 card to use.
You can always cancel the pre-order next time you are in the store.
EDIT: Just got shut down at lunch when trying to trade in.
Used my last actual $15 card to get the deal though. Maybe they are getting wise to this? Oh well, I don't have much left to trade so I'll probably still try the copy a couple more times, but this has served me very well.
