Preorders and Cancelling

So I have a ton of GS credit that I have built up lately. I preordered some games from them ( BF3, MW3, NFS Run, ). I want the bonuses from them, but I recently have seen where I can get them from Amazon with a $10 credit and different bonuses. I have plenty of credit at both places, so that's not an issue. How lax is GS on taking returns of unopened items, after the codes have been used?

There usually isn't an issue with returning the games after using the DLC, but many of their games come with the DLC inside the case. But if it comes printed on the receipt instead, you shouldn't have any difficulty. Of course, keep in mind that not every store is the same, so your mileage may vary.

Are the UPCs the same for an individual game, but from different places? Could you order say Batman from GS to get the bonuses, order 1 from Amazon with the bonuses and $10 credit, then return the one from Amazon to GS for refund and end up with all the bonuses and $10 credit?
