Prey with Vista 64 bit

I picked up Prey for a $1 about a week ago. I'm sure some other CAGs might have as well. Has anyone got it to run on a machine with Vista 64 bit version to run Prey?

Everytime I've try to launch the game it goes to a black screen, and stops responding. I've of course googled the issue. I've tried changing the executable to be launched as the Admin, and changed the settings to run for each of the OS systems available, which doesn't include Vista. I've tried several other Google suggested solutions as well. I'm just wondering if it is Vista 64 bit, or something else on my computer?

I've already spend too much time on this $1 purchase.

It isn't Vista 64. I played through the whole game on it (the steam version though). Have you patched the game to the latest version and updated your drivers?

It works fine on my Vista 64bit machine.

Works fine on Win 7 64x. I think the same thing was happening. I wasn't sure if it was the game or my anti virus. I patched it and it was fine.
