Pro Pack Mini Wii Remote

So I finally got a decent Android phone and I wanna get one of these mini remotes to keep for phone synching purposes. I see a number of these on ebay for like $10 but I really have to wonder if they are legit. Is the price plummeting because it seems there's a version with Motion Plus built into it coming out?

I guess for $10 I could afford to risk it...

I do recall reading that a version with Motion Plus would be coming out.

By the way, what do they have to do with synching your phone?

I probably didn't type that out clearly but I intend to use it as a controller for Android games by using the WiimoteController app. The phone has HDMI out so I can theoretically take it to friend's homes synch up a couple of Wii remotes and game away.

Edit: Assuming that don't already have better system/game readily available.
