PS HOME Free Items / Clothes / Freebies Wiki

Anyways I want to know what are THE MUST CHECK areas this time, they are saying HOME is now full of games., where are they?. This new layout is confusing
Just open your nav menu (press start) and look under "Games". That's just some of the featured games in Home. At the bottom of that list you can click to see "more games". That also is just some of the games in Home.

If I were you though, I would start with events that are ending soon, like the quests as seen on any Activity Board.

If you get lost and don't know what to do, you can use the guide features in your nav menu.

Also, Alphazone4 does a great job keeping up with many (but not all) the games in Home, and some, but not all the events in Home, and quests in Home. Basically, if it has a reward then they will list it. If not, they wont.

I would say it depends on what sort of freebies you are looking for. If you want furniture, or clothing items. There are a few sites online that will give you a listing of home rewards with pics as well as how to get them. http://www.yourplaystationhome.com/page-2.html for instance. Some of the freebies are from specific spaces you will either need to buy or get invited to ( I have a few of these so feel free to add me and I will be glad to invite you). Additionally, some of the stuff is limited time only, and there are occasionally in game dlc rewards (such as the Dead Island stuff not too long ago, not sure if it still gives the in game stuff... I think the uncharted 3 mini game in home gives in game cash or something?). Let me know if you need more specific info.
eta- Also in regards to where the games are... pretty much every space has some sort of mini game or rewards. There are four games in the aurora space for instance, and even the axe survey in the hub gives a reward. Some spaces give items just for popping by, such as the theater.

Got a free bamboo sword reward in the new "Great Edo of Nippon" space by visiting the "straw bundle".
The blow dart mini-game has 3 statue rewards.
There is also a goldfish scooper mini-game where you can win 4 different fish rewards.

Additionally, there is a towel outfit that is put on you when you enter the bathhouse (though its not an actual reward). Also in the fishing game, you can win a hand item. Its a little fishbowl in a net, and when I won it I had gotten 7 or 8 fish, and at least one of each in the same round. Back to Red Bull air race, halfway finished!

I've done challenge 1 and 2 for each of the 6 races. There is no way I am even going to attempt for the third challenge... The controls are reversed and with no way to modify them, I just ditch into the water every time I try to go fast.

Novus Prime lightning shield code for PSHome (While the original post by Hellfire Games indicated an expiration date, I don't think it has yet. let me know)

RLFM-5PNB-KFGD - was informed this one is now used

...so here is another one =) Good luck
(and this one differs from the one I just posted in the Code Drop section)

Novus Prime Lightning Shield for PS Home

I got the crackle hoodie (Again) in the loot theater. I was looking for new movie posters, but I got bored after just a few movies when I didn't find any.
No idea if this is new, but i found a flag hat in the namco store that is free.
If it is the yellow one, then that has been free for a while. yourplaystationhome.com and alphazone4.com both have a full list of free store items, go check it out in case you have missed any.

Ok thanks. I am aware of both of those sites, but was kinda busy and had no time to look it up. So ok, no free stuff this week haha...

I think they only did the "10 free items per week" thing for the holidays. I don't really see them keeping at it any longer than that.

You also get a free hotel apartment space for visiting the new Casino.

Also, due to requests for more weekly free items as aforementioned, the blog states that there will be more in the coming weeks.

Novius Prime now has new missions, weapons, ships, and costumes in the latest update called Novius Prime: Vindication. They also replaced the level 20 cap to level 30, with a new rewards system.

Any idea how long that will last? My PS3 is down for the next 1.5 weeks.

Casino pop-up says for visiting on opening day, so I would assume it is today only, but you never know, maybe through the weekend.

Errr... when you get the apartment, avoid the tub until housekeeping gets there.. There is a long brownish streak of *mystery* in it. Incentive to get the vip?? lol

I just finished the Ferris Wheel quest with the Icy hair but the next objective is not popping up on the activity board or from the Snowmen or Bear. Does anyone remember what it was or how to trigger it?

In the indie pier so far the gnome curling has netted me a gnome hat and tunic at 2000 and then 4000 points respectively. Anyone find anything else?

i got the fishing pole from hitting a bullseye and there is at least 1 more clothing reward for points. 5000 i think. also noticed the kraken wall hanging in novus prime store is free, and wideout hd seems to be free for ps plus (i know it isnt ps home but still). can someone check this out and make sure it isnt a glitch on my end? ps store then games then psn games, its in there but isnt listed in ps plus deals. edit- the other reward is gnome shoes

Ended up scoring the shoes when i reached 5500 so i cant verify but probably is 5000. Cool to know about the fishing pole though. Nice playing! Good heads up on the novus hanging also not sure about wipeout though already have it downloaded. Also im guessing there are probably pants for gnome curling to finish the outfit but not at 6000 unfortuneately :( maybe past that? 7000?

ive topped out at 7000, no other rewards yet. not to say you cant hit over 7, i just cant seem to, heh. if i figure out or find anythinng else ill be sure to post. and if someone could just tell me if wipeout shows up as free for plus, i would appreciate it!

There are no pants. Here are all the rewards (hat, tunic, shoes, pole) for the game.

I see Wipeout HD is still $19.99 & $24.99 for the complete package. I don't see any PS+ Deal. I think it must be a glitch.

The casino feels like such a ripoff so far 100 chips only? Its .99 cents for the lowest denomination of chips (400) so 100 chips is equivalent to .25 cents of real cash. That means that basically if i ever want to win anything other than a tshirt there i HAVE to pay real cash. At least the midways have free games once in a while. Poker is like 400 or 500 minimum bet there which means your free chips dont mean squat & you cant even play that game without a purchase. Hmm paying real cash for poker at the casino or for free at the sportswalk gee what a hard decision. Sorry to sound grumpy but the casino just doesnt seem worth multiple visits unless youre dropping real coin on it. Btw the VIP top hat & VIP space is awarded at 100 000 points for free also (but that means spending real cash to get there lol!)

Or how about the fact that you can spend real money at real casinos and win real cash. I am not going to spend money gambling to win fake money. If we can cash that out for real money then I would be willing to use it. Most of their ideas recently are about making money off of people dumb enough to waste it on a virtual world. I have not spent a dime on Home and never will. I do it for the fun and challenge of winning free things. I will attempt to rack up as much funs with those 100 coins as possible, if I end up losing them all then i will be done.

The rewards are for winning, bullseye, 4000, and 5000. I have gotten them all. The glitch with it is that you cannot get them all at once, I lost my first game but 2nd game I played I won with 6,000+ points and I only got the Hat, I eventually won with 4,000 and got the shoes, then i had to win a 3rd time to get the Tunic.

Birdman thanks for all the tips! Have you done the new hub quest yet? Im guessing first task is inviting some friends to the community theatre but nobodys online right now. Do you know if one is sufficient enough?

You need two friends, one is not enough lol.

Then perhaps instead of insulting the people that do pay for things, you might want to consider thanking them, because if everyone was like you, there would be no Home for you to, and I quote, "do it for the fun and challenge of winning free thing".

It never fails to amaze me how some people feel they know how someone else should spend there money, and to criticize them when they don't make the same choices as others. My advice, be happy with the choices you make, and let others be happy with the choices they make. If they are subsidizing your enjoyment in Home, maybe you should also be happy about that too, and even encourage them to continue to do so.

So totally agree with you Dig.Nitrate.
Birdman - I would be one of the very people you so charmingly referred to as"idiots". I used to be a very active person...til I came down with a very serious illness that makes me so weak I can barely walk. So PS home helps me to get my mind off things and I can play games with my daughter where as I am not physically able to outside. Perhaps you should think twice before you start name calling. Face red much? If it takes me getting insulted so someone can learn its not right to judge then so be it
Is there any way to earn free chips or is it purchase only?
I believe opening weekend (this one) you'll get a whopping 100 free chips. Only way to earn free chips is gambling that 100 and hopefully win more. Otherwise, yes, you have to purchase more.

Overall, the casino is a nice feature, but it's definitely a cash guzzler. I honestly wish they would've gave us more than 100 chips so we could at least try everything out. I only got to play blackjack and the minimum was 25 chips. All my chips were gone in like 10 minutes - freaking dealer got 21 twice in a row at the end... Oh and yesterday when I was watching the poker area, some guy was chatting about how he bought the $10 amount of chips and lost it all in like half an hour.

Anyhow, the Casino would definitely be better if they lowered the minimum amount per game or at least have different tier amount tables like a real casino to cater for everyone. Perhaps, even give free chips every week/update so everyone can try again.

They should at least do like a daily visit bonus (similar to Aurora), even if only 20-50 chips or something.
Hey, this is probably a long shot, but does anyone know where exactly the Tramp Boots are from? They're boots with card suits across the ankles. I saw them once and assumed they were a reward from the Casino, but a search on AlphaZone4 shows that they're Japan-only?

http://alphazone4.com/store/#searchtramp boots
I don't recall where those boots came from, but if they are an exclusive reward for Japan, and you saw them in a different region of Home other than Japan, and it was in a public space that wasn't one of the global spaces, then the person wearing them likely used one of the many item exploit hacks which not only can add items to your inventory, but it can also add items from one region into an account from a different region.

I personally would not recommend attempting any of those item exploits, as it can get you banned from the PSN. YMMV

They are from the Sevens Table personal space card game, try here
Hope this helps

That helped tremendously. Now that I knew exactly where they were from, I was able to google it and find a forum member who invited me into their club to win them. Thanks a lot! :D

i read this and thought they might have changed the controls but everything worked fine for me when i tried it the other day. you have to invert your camera in home controls. i told this to a few frustrated pilots this weekend. i also had to help people with this in bootlegger awhile back.

I just popped back into the Casino and it had a notice you will get 100 Free chips weekly if you visit. So that is some good news for those that want to play for 10 minutes.

They honestly need to change the buy in for Poker to 100 at the very least or have one table that does that so those that want to risk it all can do so.

Personally I had some extra wallet money to burn so I figured why not I do enjoy gambling. The games overall are decent, the slots need some improvement but at least there are two types of machines. Trying to win at Keno at the moment and it is just so very slow.

was down to 7 chips last night.. I decided to play the slots, to finish them of,.. one at a time and manage to win 600 chips! awesome my best sore so far!
