Hellmutt - Trust me, I scoured the new Heavy H2O items... there is no female equivalent for the Male Canvas Shorts or my avi would be so wearing them right now.

When I stopped by the Casino there was a message saying that the Lucky Fountain reward will be replaced by a new reward next week. I assume that means after tomorrow morning's update. If you haven't gotten this reward yet, today might be your last chance. It took me around 250 tries/coins to get it but I've read elsewhere that it took over a thousand for some so YMMV.

EDIT: Looks like the reward is still available so we probably have until the update on the 25th.

Make sure you visit the personal space for several (19) free rewards


caveat: you must have started the minibots game in the Action District to get this reward. You can go to the Action District and click on the MiniBots Multiplayer Event to get the personal space reward, but you don't have to actually play.

It was probably just a delay in receiving the reward, as I never started the mini bots game and still got the personal space soon after entering Home in the Hub. I also tested it on an alt account and it also got the personal space without ever starting the mini bots game.

This is also available in EU Home by entering the Action District space.

For EU accounts, you will get the 19 rewards at the same time as you get the personal space, so just stay in the Action District until your HDD symbol goes away... Or just check your rewards menu to make sure you got everything.

BTW: In the MiniBots Training Facility space is an Armory room where you can purchase additional items, clothes, etc. However, you must first purchase Juggernaut Coins... Much like Lockwood's gift machine and the Casino chips, you get a discount for purchasing more coins.

$1 for 10 coins ($.10 per)
$5 for 60 coins ($.083 per)
$11 for 150 coins ($.073 per)
$24 for 350 coins ($.069 per)

You really don't get much of a discount between the $5 and $11 options, and an even smaller discount between the $11 and $24 options, so unless you know for sure you are going to spend a lot of coins, you are probably better off purchasing the $5 options if at all.

From what I can tell the typical price conversions for these items is as follows:

Weapons (hand items) cost 10 coins ($1-$.69)
Decorations (hats, masks, glasses, etc) cost 8 coins ($.80-$55)
Battlefield Effects (ornaments and flooring) cost 5 coins ($.50-$.35)
Furniture (ornaments, flooring, wall art) cost 3 coins ($.30-$21)
 
Speaking of EU Home, Granzella updated their Southern Island Hideaway to version 1.07 which adds quite a lot to that space.

It now includes the Paid Excavation Site as well as the Ocean Swim game. In addition you now earn Super Tropical Points for playing any of the mini games in the space, including the Personal Water Craft Race, Wedding Ceremony, Fossil Digging, as well as points for doing an appraisal, and the Ocean Swim as well.

You can then cash in these points for various rewards from the Tropical Girl who you can find easily enough sitting on the swing between the cave entrance and the main hut.

The update also includes the roaming sea monsters.

This update also introduces the infamous Fossil Museum personal space, and the notorious GZ tickets... These additions are certainly not without controversy, as it not only takes a long time to collect all the fossils (over 150), but it can also be VERY expensive, as you'll have to buy GZ tickets in order to find many of the larger fossils, and you still are not guaranteed to find them, no matter how much you might end up spending on GZ tickets, charms, and upgraded tools. YMMV

Finally got the Lucky Fountain. Took me about 500 coins. Looks like this week is the last week.

Also, the third challenge in Event Horizon (Slay) is open now.

There's rumored to be some kind of reward for people participating in the LBP Karting Beta. Does anyone know any specifics about this? I downloaded the Beta a couple days ago and have played both story and multiplayer online, but nothing is popping for me.

Couple FREE Casino items

Depending on your country of origin (supposedly), if you visit the Casino during the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, you receive a country flag (male/female - hand item).

Also, new reward in the fountain - a hand sparkler (male/female).

Sorry, I thought everyone already knew about this.

The Slay game in the Event Horizon space gives an outfit for each challenge as you win a game. I've been playing the single player game as the new challenges were unlocked. there are a total of 4 outfits; since I've been earning them one at a time it's not clear to me if you can simply get all at once whenever you want or not.
 
Ahh okay I got them all in the first week was just wondering if you meant now its lose a game win all suits. I cant check it myself as I own them already but I wanted to clarify for my friends' sake :) thanks for the response

That seems unlikely, as two of the suits only just unlocked within the last 2 weeks. Before then it wasn't possible to get all the suits. I wonder if you and I are speaking about something different.

Not true starting back at e3 time every week a new suit was rewarded for winning a game of slay starting with amarr dropsuit ending with caldari. The week after i won caldari, amarr was available to people LOSING a game of slay.

Amarr was won 06/09/2012
Gallente scout was won 06/12/2012
Minmatar logistics was won 06/23/2012
Caldari assault was won 06/26/2012

Is what my reward list says and I made sure to start from day 1 e3 was open. With all due respect I think you were misinformed.

Allright. I accept that your experience is different from mine. I have no idea why... I went in there at the same time as you guys did but the first one only was unlocked. As I mentioned, the 4th challenge only unlocked for me on Tuesday.

I have been checking on the challenge frequently too and the 4th suit only opened the day you posted it. I'm assuming the others must be different regions and that is why they got them in June. But both our experiences plus several other US posts say the 4th just unlocked
 
No i am NA you guys possibly werent aware but when you posted that it was the second run of the four week cycle. Every one of these dates is when a new suit has been released with the last one being when the dust lounge was opened.

In fact if you compare the dates my suits were rewarded youll notice i got some the day before the weekly update. This is because the challenge reward suits were unlocked the night before updates at midnight. Dont know why anybodys doubting me really :p
 
Also I may add that next weeks update (probably the midnight before it goes offline in fact like i mentioned) will probably cycle back to the first unlockable suit from the fourth which its on now. The lounge is meant to cycle through the suits every week all summer. :)

I've had the fourth suit for weeks as well. Maybe the Tuesday unlock is throwing them off?

Thanks for the heads up! I picked this up and also my 2nd suit (which was the first suit) from the Event Horizon space.

Also I stopped by the casino and it said something happened in the free room again. I checked it out & this time the room is now a crime scene. This free room really has a lot of problems, doesn't it. :lol: Wonder what will happen to it next.

In the store or when you goto the Casino ? i didn't see it in the store nor did it give it as a reward entering and i looked at the rewards list and didn't see it.
