I just exchanged my PS2 at GS through my warranty because it had DREs. I just home with my new (refurbished) one, and it doesn't even have DVD drivers in it. I flipped it over and it says it's a debugging station. Does anyone know what they are? Are they somehow more valuable/rare? Is it worth it to just buy a cheap DVD player and keep the debugging station?
Forgot to add that it's a DTL-H70011S model. Also, the memory card and controller ports are switched.
