PS3 acesory details revealed by Oct. 3rd Sony press release

Sweet OP! I'm looking forward to the Memory Card reader. Hopefully it will be closer to $9.99 than the projected $12+, especially since the device will not be utilized that often. This item alone has restored some of my faith in SONY. If you think about it they did their research and saw the failure with MS and the capability of transfering Xbox saves. Maybe if we cross our fingers SONY will also include a smaller version of the remote with the system:)
 
Excellent news that the controller can be used as a wired/wireless peripheral. 30 hours of charge is a pretty good length of time for a wireless unit.
 
That memory card reader tells me that perhaps we can use our old memory cards... on the ps3.. Hopefully game saves won't be that large.. but this is a huge advantage for ps3 owners if we don't have to worry about memory cards in the future.
