You're not finding anything cheaper than that unless it's used. There might be some store exclusive bundles or online deals coming up but you are not finding anything at retail cheaper than what you're searching for

I would say your both right and wrong. I think that you may be able to get Bing Cash Back on Walmart.com or I believe that Sony Style has $50 off purchase with new Credit Card sign up.

Walmart.com is out of stock of PS3 systems. Best Buy has Bing cashback right now, I might get a 250 GB with in store pickup, they were out of 120s.

Right now I'd just be happy to find a PS3 locally, deal or not.

Shit, I can't even find a store around here that has one at $299. Target, Walmart, Sears and both of our Gamestops are sold out. My wife bought me one for Christmas, but due to a shipping screw up, we still haven't got one.
