PS3 Super Slim Fan Noise

Got this PS3 brand new and noticed the fan noise. It only happens on start up when the PS3 is cold and the fan is at slower speeds. This happens with or without a disc. It sounds like the the fan is clipping something, I'm guessing it's not set properly. When the PS3 warms up and the fan speed picks up the fan noise goes away. I'm guessing at higher speed the fan falls into place.

Anyone else notice this? Want to know if it's a defective unit or not... Sony didn't seem to think so since it plays and works fine otherwise. I still got the store's 30 day return policy but I'm not sure if they'll accept this as defective unit to replace either.

Replaced it. Have to re-download everything which is slightly annoying, but at least I have the peace of mind the fan won't give out in a week.
