Get all of the following items, one of which is the new Unlocked program that gives you two years in the club where you’ll get 20% off all new games, 10% bonus on video game software trade-ins, 10% off preowned games and additional benefits in gaming related product at Best Buy. And if you use a MyBestBuy credit card, you can get it all day one for no money down, pay $35 a month for PS4 or $40 a month for Xbox One interest free for two years. Again, all the nitty gritty details are found on the page linked above.

PS4 Version - $800 vs. buying everything separately at $889.92

·         PS4 system - $399.99

·         Dualshock 4 controller - $59.99

·         Any two PS4 games - $59.99 each

·         Two years of PS Plus - $99.99

·         Two years of Gamers Club Unlocked - $119.99

·         Two years of Geek Squad Protection - $89.99

The savings that comes from buying all this together is as follows:

·         $12.00 off each $59.99 game (20% off as an Unlocked member)

·         $65.99 off the Unlocked membership (makes it $54 or $27 per year essentially)

Xbox One Version - $880 vs. buying everything separately at $989.93

·         Xbox One system - $499.99

·         Xbox One controller - $59.99

·         Any two Xbox One games - $59.99 each

·         Two years of Xbox Live - $99.99

·         Two years of Gamers Club Unlocked - $119.99

·         Two years of Geek Squad Protection - $89.99

The savings that comes from buying all this together is as follows:

·         $12.00 off each $59.99 game (20% off as an Unlocked member)

·         $65.99 off the Unlocked membership (makes it $54 or $27 per year essentially)

·         $20.00 off Xbox Live two year subscription (full MSRP on Xbox Live memberships is $59.99 per year, so even saving a bit more off of that)

A few interesting things to note:

·         20% off all new games is on ALL NEW GAMES. Physical versions only though, for both console and PC, no digital versions will get the discount. No price requirements, you’re just limited to three copies of any game. This benefit is tied to your My BestBuy account, keep that in mind.

·         While the package is only available to purchase in store, your discounts are available in store and on www.bestbuy.com – just need to make sure you have an account on the site and link your MyBestBuy member number to it

·         It takes about 24 hours to activate your Unlocked membership but any games bought when you buy the package will get the 20% discount right away, just needs to be on the same transaction

·         Make sure you have a MyBestbuy member number because that’s what will recognize you so you can get your discounts and bonuses – if you don’t have one you can get one at the store

·         If you have some of the items already ordered you can still get this deal when you pick it up in store. It will just require you to return what you bought and repurchase it all together. Make sure to bring your receipt with you to make it go quicker.

·         If you are already an Unlocked member you don’t need to repurchase that but you can and add another two years to your membership for basically $54

·         The Geek Squad Protection includes Accidental Damage from Handling for the console as well as the standard coverage AND coverage on up to five additional items (accessories or games) purchased on the same receipt

·         This just isn’t a week one or launch offer, this package will be available until 1/31/14.

Is this a great deal for everyone? Well it gets you pretty much going on everything you’d likely want or need when buying a new PS4 or Xbox One. If you do the financing deal, you don’t need to drop almost a $1000 in the next couple of weeks and $35 or $40 isn’t too hard to handle each month. 20% off of all new games is going to save you quite a bit if you buy a lot of games. You really only need to buy three new releases a year to be slightly ahead of break-even on the Unlocked membership. And the 10% bonus on trades will add up to. And if the preorder incentives continue like the ones that have been out there recently (Get $10 and Victory Can Be Preordered) you’re even that much farther ahead.

So again, great deal for everyone? Think you need to take a look at the whole thing and then decide how you game and want to support your gaming habits. Going to be a little different for everyone.
