HEY ALL just an announcement for those of you selling or trading LittleBigPlanet preorder costume codes for the Vita or interested in one.

I just found out with another CAG that the preorder vouchers found inside ALL COPYS of LBP for the VITA are Misprinted. They are only ONLINE Passcodes. The only preorder costume codes are printed on the physical receipt of the retailer you bought the game from. I earlier verified this with GAMESTOP and SONY Customer Support today. Just an announcement for your benefit!!!!

Not to be rude, but this was figured out roughly 2 weeks before the game releases. It has since been over a month since that was known, so if someone doesn't know by now... well they deserve whatever problems stem from trading the code.

That's an unfair assumption. The trading threads are created on the basis of trust ie. having legitimate codes.

I just got the game, has been interested in it, and didn't know about this.

You should test codes before selling them and verify everything is accurate. Simply redeeming them on the online site will show you everything thats included (in 99% of cases) and then from there you should look into it if need be. I hardly think it's unfair to assume most people read the topics about it (there were many) or at least tested the code prior to trade.

Despite what you said about testing codes being half-true (a lower feedback person wouldn't have been able to test it), it's not the original statement you've made.

And I just confirmed that there are indeed people who don't know. As someone who didn't pre-order the game, there wasn't an active interest for me to pursue its related news. I frequent both neogaf and gamespot, and still that piece of information eluded me.

So yeah, it was unfair for you to assume.
 
Hey cags, im surprised anyone would argue against the service announcement I made earlier. I had a bad experience and seen there were a hand full of cags actively selling what I was warning about so obviously admiralvic's contrarian arguments didnt apply here. I had made sure to word it as not to demonize the seller or buyer and merely wanted to warn parties that there was a major mistake with what the content was claiming to contain.
