I guess it was cheaper at a few more places than I thought. I just never go for those YMMV deals because I never end up getting them, so I don't really keep track of them or remember them.

Once again, reality comin in with some bullshit information. Well, he's technically right but only for EU, which most people here do not buy from.

There is nothing that says When Vikings Attack will get a US Plus discount, the developers made no mention of it when answering about the price in the PS Blog. It's very likely EU only.

I'm not hearing the blogcast anymore so I can't vouch for that information, but weren't you the one who said that the Blogcast is always accurate and such developers words don't count for.

Haha, fuckin idiot. No, I never said any of that shit. And maybe you should look up the word rant. A short post isn't a rant. What you just posted is closer to a rant, especially with the terrible insults. You have a history of spewing false information and being a general idiot, so why would I think this time was any different?
 
Looks like the comic section is really gone. I thought I could still access my comics in my download history list, until the end of the year. :(

Agree 100%. None of it is really necessary or warranted in the thread, and I'll reiterate my appreciation for Frisky's work on the PSN threads. I don't ever look at the PSBlog, just CAG, b/c Frisky keeps it so organized and up to date.

Regarding what Frisky is doing is a wonderful job but it's not his fault if they publish one information that the game is getting 30% discount, and I reply based on the info he posted, since they said that and Frisky actually listened to the whole Blogcast.

I for this matter trusted what Frisky posted but I knew what the developer published, but after last time of what happenned with Spelunker HD I don't trust nothing anymore, so I only answered what you wanted to see, which you said that you trusted more the Blogcast than anything else.

I'm just saying that if you knew the answer yourself why did you even ask it on this thread?

I also want to have a 30% discount but if it won't come I will be getting the game nevertheless it's not a discount that is going to make me stop of getting the game.

Edit: I'll add this about the question over whether When Vikings Attack will have the discount in the US, just wait until Monday to see whether it's true or not despite the mention on the PS Blogcast. Nobody should be shitting on others over that anyway, especially when you guys know when they make official announcements for PS+ schedules for the following week.

Hahahah, the post was actually making fun of his constant whining over the Spelunker DLC. I like that he spent the time looking it up though.
 
So i hear they're just a few days away from announcing the finer details of what PS+ will mean for the Vita.

I'm not expecting anything too crazy but if the instant game collection has even one game I don't already own and want, I'll consider that a win~

The Automatic Update feature that the PS3 has for instance. I also want the Vita to be able to access the same cloud storage space that the PS3 can. So if I have a cross-play game, I can just put my PS3 saves on the cloud, download them wirelessly to the Vita through the cloud, and be on my way. Or vice-versa. And a games collection with at least one decent game would be nice lol.

Cross Save games already have cloud storage for each game to sync the saves between both platforms in-game, so I'm not sure what you're asking for there that wasn't already there.

Oh ya, the cloud and cross-play just feels like they were made with each other's functionality in mind.

Automatic update would be nice for backing up saves to the cloud but for firmware/patches for games, I've not had too many games require patches like they do on the PS3 so I don't think that's as big of a factor.

You can't transfer PS3 saves to a Vita, so that would've been an amazing trick to pull off. If you did it the normal way, you just synced it from the menus. They did have server issues around launch that made syncing more difficult than it should've been, so that may be what you're thinking.

But it doesn't matter, I think you're right anyways. Sound Shapes is really the only cross-play game I have at the moment so I'll just trust your expertise.

I understand now, though they're not compatible through those means. The cloud sync in-game is how it converts the save between both versions to make it as easy as possible.

I picked up the Move Racing Wheel today and found out that it works for all racing games even if they don't have native Move support, which doesn't require the full Move set to work. Just the Move and the Wheel.

What the last bit implies is that any racing game using the left analog stick to steer (that is, all of them) is already compatible with the PlayStation Move Racing Wheel. Moreover, it looks like the motion tracking in "unsupported" games is spot on as Albert reports that "the virtual steering hands in GT5's cockpit view are basically 1:1 with wheel".

I read about that. I was like you and had no clue the thing released and did my research as to what games supported it. ALL was a pleasant surprise, definitely not the answer i expected. Much better than that sharpshooter attachment i have that only fully works for 3 games!
 
Just encountered my strangest PSN glitch ever. Downloaded Infamous, go to install it, and it tells me its the PSP version? The icon has this weird yellow bar next to it too

Thanks for the link, I sent an email to their customer service. I got the game on the 8th and also added Plus that same day, so hopefully they'll be nice and give me the difference back. Wish I found out about this sooner, but I just got internet service back today -_-
 
what the... does PS+ auto renew even if you just use pre paid cards?! I had about $40 in my wallet because of all the sales. I had gotten a 3 month card that i used a while back. I just checked my email and there is an $18 charge i did NOT authorize. I think its for a PS+ renewal. I need to look into it on Monday probably, but my guess is they just took 18 bucks out of my wallet without my consent. Can they friggin do that?! I specifically avoid giving them my credit card because of the hacking fiasco a while back and now theyre just taking money from my account without my authorization?

Anyone know how that works? If it is some auto renewal how the hell do you cancel it, and can i get my money back? The charge was a couple days ago

Yeah this happened to me too in september. I was pretty pissed.
 
Doesn't it tell you that it's turning on auto renewal when you first start PS+?

Try reading instead of just hitting accept next time guys.
