Quick question - how is the PS Mini game, The Impossible Game, for $0.99 a "sale" or "deal price"? I bought it quite awhile back for that price, then was telling my friend about it quite awhile later, looked it up to make sure and it was still $0.99. Unless I just randomly happened to look at it while it was on sale at 2 completely different and random time frames, that just seems kinda odd. :whistle2:s
Impossible Game was released 3 years ago as an Xbox Live Indie Game for $1.
Then a year later he released a level pack for $1.
Maybe the PSN version has both levels?

hey guys i'm trying to buy disgaea: afternoon of darkness on psn and i saw frisky showed that it's $5 cheaper on Gamestop's website. How does buying psn games on Gamestop work? Do they just send you a psn code and that's it? And even though it says Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness DLC it means the full game right?
Ultimate Edition bundles sale...could get expensive, looksing forward to see what goes on sale. Thanks for the Update Frisky
Ya Ultimate Edition bundles, GAG!!! As a CAG and someone who doesn't get any special value from having full games on my hard drive, these sales never do anything for me. And they come around a lot!

I could be wrong, but I'd imagine that Ultimate Edition bundles are for any game with DLC that would be ripe for a bundled deal like we had for the Ubisoft sale with Scott Pilgrim.

Oh, if you're right, I could definitely go for that. :D

So this would include PSN games only then and not full retail releases like the Ubisoft sale?

For example, I wouldn't mind buying Pigsy's Perfect 10 if it was bundled with Enslaved. The DLC is now more expensive and shorter than the main game. A Castlevania: Lords of Shadow bundle would be great too, especially with the sequel that was just announced.

No, it would be able to include any game on PSN (retail or PSN) with some DLC that would be able to be bundled. It could cover everything from Warhawk with all of its DLC to Super Stardust HD with its DLC.

If it's not on PSN, that doesn't seem like it'll be part of the sale, though they were especially vague about the sale.

Yeah the psn version has all the levels released thus far.

That's what I was thinking, but then again, we had GTA, RDR, LA Noire not too long ago either so I don't quite know what to expect when it comes to retail releases, if that's even what we'll get.

Yeah, there are a lot of games that I would buy the ultimate bundle if it turns out to be cheaper than buying the download content separately.

I have a lot of games that have ultimate versions. Heavy Rain comes to mind, not sure if the director's cut version is even available for digital download.

I have the disc version of L.A. Noire for PS3. It would be nice to get the DLC bundled with the digital version of the game, if at a good price.

Hoping this deal includes bundles like Metal Gear Solid for PSP (Portable Ops, Ops +, and the Digital Graphic Novel). Maybe just a discount on the Digital Graphic Novel since that's all I'm really interested in, just not willing to shell out the current asking price of about $8. Still waiting for MGS: VR Missions.

Kind of surprised PS3 Valkyria Chronicles isn't available for digital download for PSN. I'd get that game if it were bundled with all the DLC for $20, even though I have the game itself on disc.

No mention of the Arkham City DLC? Hoping they just forgot and it didn't get delayed. I've been going through the challenge rooms in anticipation.

If I recall they moved the DLC to come out the same day as the GOTY edition of the game which is Tuesday, May 29th.

Very reasonable. An added PS+ discount would make them a sure thing for me.

That would be great. These games are pretty awesome if you're an RE fan. I already sold my Wii copies in anticipation of this. For some reason I thought there was going to be a disc release of this as well. Am I just crazy?

It was only announced as a PSN game:

Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today confirmed that Resident Evil™: Chronicles HD Collection will be coming to the PlayStation®3 system across Europe and North America in June 2012 as a digital download. The collection includes Resident Evil ™: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil™: The Darkside Chronicles, and will be available for download from the PlayStation®Store.

I don't remember it being confirmed. I too, sold the Wii versions because of it.

It's a really fun game, I've had a blast with it so far. Ditto for NBA Jam.

How is Simpsons Arcade Game #7? That is a win for pure nostalgia (I loved it as a kid), but man I'm glad I got it for free. As a game, it is not too good.

i just got amazon prime cuz my amazon mom ran out for good, and yeah trying that amazon prime instant video is pretty awesome. iv never had netflix but they have all seasons of man vs wild, sarah silverman, arrested development and a bunch of other stuff for free, so that's awesome.
it sucks cuz amazon lowered the subscribe n save +amazon prime discount from 30% to only 20% but still i just like it for the 2day free shipping. sorry so off topic.

awesome to see journey as #1. ill get gotham city imposters and journey when there are sales someday. and yeah simpsons omg lol. and even ff7. awesome. i bought that too on that sale. peace and thanks frisky!

This question is kind of irrelevant, but I am trying to buy a $10 psn code from bestbuy.com to get flow. How do I get it emailed to me? It only gives me the option for store pickup or regular shipping when I try to purchase it.

You can't. Only the $ 20 & $ 50 codes are available to be e-mailed.

Wow. People really love their casual stuff or the older stuff that's been available for years(and years), don't they? I was super interested in I Am Alive, till they made it a generic shooter/survival game with that 'omg cloud of death' bullshit and cloaked everything in that damn dust.

Short of Angry Birds, I don't see anything casual on there. I'm shocked I Am Alive is selling so well.

I would probably include The Simpsons Game in that category.

I just realized that Inferno Pool is currently a freebie with PS+, but my PS+ expires mid June. I really wish Sony would give you an option to forgo downloading the 'free' version and actually pay for the games you want to permanently keep from the store, even if they're currently free via PS+.

I don't think you know what casual means.
I don't think you know what casual means.
To me it means any game that has unlimited continues and/or is fairly easy to beat. By that logic, the Simpsons Game fits right in there.;)

Under that definition almost every modern game is included in that category including God of War 3, Red Dead Redemption, and Uncharted. Which I'm sure we can all agree are not casual games lol. I would include Journey, Angry Birds, NFL Blitz and NBA Jam as a casual games though as in they appeals to nongamers.

I grabbed the flOw DLC and confirmed the glitch, so I deleted my copy and downloaded a fresh copy. Installed it and the expansion before starting up and it works just fine now. I played through it a couple of times and it's still a beautiful game, though the screenshot feature unfortunately causes it to freeze for a few seconds while it does its thing.
