Virtua tennis is a fantastic game. One of the most underrated vita games. I paid 40 bux for it off the store last week and it is worth every penny. I'm not sure why it doesn't get talked about more. It's a steal for this price.
This +1
Love the touch controls and mini games
VT4 is the best Vita game out there. It never gets old, it's the perfect pick up and play game.
I'm tempted to pick it up but $20 still seems much...
lol, you do realize if the PSN money is in your account, they already have your real money... :applause::roll:
Technically they only have my cheap BB credit, since that's likely what I bought the cards with.;)
IATCG, how much money do you have in your PSN wallet?
Enough.;)

So pleased with the vita sales this week. I have been bitching for weeks about the lack of sales. So glad to see that we got some love. I bought all three and hope this is the beginning of more vita love.

Anyone wanna vouch for Fate/Extra? Have a little bit of interest in that game (though I kind of wish that LE went on sale while I still had my PSP), and $15 seems like a price I might go for.

Also wonder how much Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 will go for on PSN. Still need to get around to playing the first one.

I liked the show (though the prequel more than the original) so I gave it a shot. I lied it a bit at first but overall it was something I passed over and returned. Paid more than $20 and just found it okay, nothing note worthy unless you really really like the show.

I strongly disliked the first Hyperdimenstion Neptunia as the gameplay in my opinion was just horrid. Too boring for my tastes. The sequel improved over the first one but still not enjoyable for me. I'm probably never going to finish them.

How do you feel about Plus this week?
arent the only people who play mvc2 online godlike? i heard its harder to compete in than warhawk.
I think the same could be said for almost any fighting game a while after launch.

But yeah, last time i tried playing that online the skill level was insane. At the same time, getting your ass handed to you repeatedly helps you get better eventually (If you manage to avoid rage quitting that is)

I think that's ANY game really though.

oo nice, didn't see Marvel vs Capcom 2 was on sale til just now. I'm no good at fighting games, but I had a lot of fun with this one when I was a kid, so $5 seems reasonable.. *purchases*

oh my god. dyad just burned my eyeballs. trophies are fun tho. if fun is doing it over and over til it is an abnormal reflex.
and that blind audio cues level burned my ears. im too old for this crazy shia
Lol at anyone whining about the Vita's library. I guess they dont realize that almost every console doesnt immediately start out with hundreds of games.

The Vita probably had the [most] launch titles for any handheld I have seen. I couldnt care less about DD sales (Except for download only games), i want the physical copies.
Not about the quantity of games, but the...oh, well, you know the rest. Vita's only major pull is better graphics, but who gives a *how do I get the shaq-fu effect?!* when it doesn't have the games people want? I'm still not seeing a reason to jump from my PSP. And while some of you may feel differently, you're in the minority. Vita sales are abysmal and it appears that'll it only get worse. And, yes, part of that reason is the lack of support on the PS store. Digital downloads (at a reduced price) would definitely win more people over, but one week of mediocre offerings isn't going to do the trick.

$20 would be great, but expecting $30

Response to BOLD: Just type fuck (the actual word).

Response to post: I have to agree, I'm not seeing a real reason to jump to a Vita. There are about three games I'm *really* interested in. Two of those (Hot Shots, Lumines) I dont think really benefit from the upgrade in graphics. Yes, they are prettier, but it's not like the PSP versions were ass to begin with. The third (Assassin's Creed) is not really the type of game I'd think about on a handheld, but I am, at least, interested.

I just wonder why Sony and Nintendo believe that people want a console experience on the go. I thought Nintendo especially had realized that handheld gaming could be (and IMO *should* be ) different than sitting on your couch in front of the big screen. But maybe I'm wrong and they're right.

I find it odd that the Vita is not taking advantage of its power. It's clear that with MGS HD collection it can handle those collection games great. Give me some portable God of War I and II, Jak and Daxter Collection, Sly Collection, Ratchet and Clank Collection, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. To a lesser extent I wouldn't mind the DMC, Splinter Cell and Silent Hill Collections either. The fact we still don't have a Kingdom Hearts or GTA Collection is crazy too. I know a lot of people hate remakes but the PS2 still has one of the greatest libraries ever and putting that on Vita would be great IMO.

Also, I refuse to believe that a good number of the PSN games couldn't run just fine on Vita, so give me that too. If you want me to pay for those full price $15 PSN games give me a PS3/Vita 2 for 1 special and I will be spending some serious money, hell even if you asked for $20 for the 2 for 1 I'd likely bite. This would also make me buy a bigger memory card as the PSN games won't ever be retail. I just don't always understand marketing sometimes. I realize it's not always as easy as "boom here you go" but then again every time I see a hack with somebody running games that "shouldn't" be running I ask myself seriously come on.

I totally agree with getting PSN games running on Vita. And offering them as a "buy once - run on both platforms" would be great. Zen Pinball 2 is doing this and that is a day-one buy for me.

I would also buy PS2 collections. I was not into console gaming during the PS2 generation, so many of those would be new to me. And I am loving the Vita. If many of those classic PS2 games were available on the vita with full trophy support, I would be seriously broke.
All the hype you guys did of VT4 was well deserved. This game is excellent! $20 well spent.
Awesome.

so sega messaged me on my ps3 stating that are offering virtua fighter 5 final showdown for $9.99 for select members between 7/17 and 7/31

They did this (at least) once before, with Daytona USA for $5. I was wondering if they'd ever try it again. Too bad it's a game that a lot of us got for free with our PS+ subscriptions.

Picked up VT4 - really is a perfect game for digital as I can see myself playing it for 10 or 15 minutes quite regularly. Having said that I've already drained my Vita battery once already by playing it non-stop last night. It really is a fantastic package.
Lol, I'm expecting $49.99.
Record of Agarest War and Arcana Hearts 3 were $30, so that's where my expectation stems from. We shall see what direction they go.

Anyone had any experience with downloading Persona 3 off PSN and playing it on the PS3? I'm tempted, but I heard there were some issue with saving the game and that its been known to delete save files. Any truth to that?

Started Rainbow Moon. So much awesome. Since the game was so cheap, I also splurged on some DLC pearls for each character. Someone here mentioned they don't last very long, but I'm already at level 15 on my first two characters, and I still have 48000 left on each. Does the pearl consumption start to ramp up significantly soon?

no that many pearls will last you the game. you will be very overpowered. i think, im only a few hours in and just got the pearl/xp ring. what do the other rings do, more coins and what else?

Peals are real hard to come by if you don't buy the DLC, basically you only get 1 per kill, and it's only the character that finishes off the enemy that gets awarded the pears, makes it real hard to keep all characters balanced.. I'm playing on Normal, but the advanced setting or whatever it was and I never have enough pearls. In fact I have not put hardly any in to HP and MP cause those are way over priced. With that said I'm enjoying the challenge and wont opt for the DLC.

Agreed, the Pearls would ruin the difficulty, especially on Hard Mode.

On a side note, on one of the ingame days "Moon Day", you can get Double Pearls, so thats a pretty good time to try to kill a boss or what not

Drained the battery as well, however I was just messing around with mapping my face to the character. Got some real hilarious outcomes with that.
