Why do people still assume we'll get the same games as EU Plus? They're two completely different regions and companies. Don't even waste your time looking at what they get. It usually just leads to sour grapes.

RE5 Gold because of RE6 was good guess, not because EU got it. But they are starting to get games from our old list, so why not assume?

The Top-Selling Games on PSN for September:
Why, hello again The Walking Dead. We seem to see you top these charts every time one of your episodes releases — in this case Episode 3: Long Road Ahead.

Cool, thanks. Getting the $20 is looking pretty easy right now. Too many games.

US and EU use to get MANY of the same games and the instant game collections were pretty similar too. I think in the whole history of plus, there is only maybe 20 (not counting ps1 or things no one cares about) total games that didn't go to one or the other. Also many of the plus exclusive stuff (themes / avatars) were later offered in other regions. Sure not every region is indicative of the others, but EU and US tend to be pretty similar.

This line of thinking leads to the whining when we don't get something that they do and they whine when we get something that they don't. Similarities between the two regions are coincidences. Thinking that they are going to be similar leads to expectations that they will be similar and then hurt feelings when they were looking forward to one of those games.
How is 3 on 3 NHL Arcade the #3 top selling game of the month? Was it on sale for a deep discount last month or something?
No NHL season = more people buying NHL games?

frisky- about people not following your rules, i think alot of people were just guessing to have fun and take a guess. i know i wasnt following the rules and i think lots others didnt care about winning, just guessing to guess. peace n thanks!

n yeah 3 on 3 nhl was on sale i believe, cuz i almost bought it i think. idk or maybe i did buy it./ oh geez backlog sickness. i have a problem.

Look, I'm not complaining, but our EU brothers clearly have a better instant game collection. The disparity in quality is laughable! There's no arguing around that, lol. I don't know why that it is, and frankly I've stopped caring. They also have socialized healthcare. That's life.

Never heard of KOF, but I'm grateful I don't own the game because I'm always down to try new stuff. I owe my newfound adoration for the Walking Dead series (TV show) to the IGC, and more recently, my obsession with Borderlands 2.

@bsmiff Thanks for the response. I'm going to pick it up tonight. I just wanted to be sure the game had some substance and wasn't all novelty.

How can you not know of King of Fighters? It's been around for at least 13 years.

Longer than that - shit came out in '94! KoF is awesome... but I sure do suck at it.

I said at least 13, I was too lazy to look up the release date.
How can you not know of King of Fighters? It's been around for at least 13 years.
Haha, well i'm more of a casual fighter fan. Beyond Capcom series, Soul Calibur and Mortal Kombat (which, I've never played), can't think of any other games. Hmmm...maybe Blaz Blue -- still, couldn't describe to you what it looks like. Not a knock at KOF, just suck at the genre.

Did they even ever fix the online in KoF? I remember last match i played felt like I was on dialup.

Either way, I dont see myself playing it much, the inputs in that game are so damn strict. I prefer BlazBlue/Persona Arena more lately.

Being a fairly big fan of fighters, I think KoF XIII is a fantastic game with both style and depth to spare.

However, the netcode leaves much to be desired especially for a game with smaller hit confirm windows than most other fighters.

Not to say you can't enjoy the game online but if you want to become competitive with the game, I suggest you find an offline scene to invest your training time in. Either way, it's a good game and I'm glad more people will be able to play it now.

^ this
the online isn't very good. Most people will use fireball teams to win online matches.

its cool to see kof 13 is coming out for plus. Its an really good game that everyone should try :D. but we still need KOF '98 with online play on psn. :/

amazon will take your ps3 copy of KOF for 13.50 for right now, may drop soon.

best buy can't find kof 13 in the search and I don't know the current bonus for trade ins, so I couldn't tell you what they will pay... and gamestop probably under 9 bucks as always.

Glyde has the game going in excellent condition market price for $21.25(in your pocket) if it sells.

Pretty good, if you're wanting to sell the game.
Lol, no Zombies for Black Ops: Declassified. http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/08/black-ops-declassified-has-no-zombies-you-can-still-shoot-the-l/

I always found it hard to get friends to play zombies mode with me, they always wanted to play the regular multiplayer. Whenever I played zombies it was with randoms which pretty much suck since there is no teamwork involved whatsoever so I really don't care if they cut out of the game its fine by me

Nice Doctor Who is only $10, I know the game will probably won't be that good but I'm such a big fan of the show that I will look past its flaws and buy it anyway. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's update, there is a lot of good games coming that its going to make it easier to spend $100 this month, I plan on getting Doctor Who, Retro City Rampage, Derrick, Shinobi and Sunflowers.

I hope they do not have online trophies for that game. I'd like to play through it, but i can see the online being a ghost town in a few weeks caused by the suckage this game looks to be. Going to have to drop hard in order for me to grab it.

After playing LBP and Resistance online with the vita I can say, HOLY fuck does it LAAAAAAAAAAGGGG!!!!
That's a surprisingly fair price for the DMC Collection.
That was one of the things that I noticed as well. Granted I already own a physical copy, but this is unexpected, yet very welcome.

Doesn't that assume it will work in the first place? I mean thats high expectations from Nihilistic...

I agree completely. Isn't this game being rushed just in time for the holidays? There is absolutely no reason for them to NOT include a Zombies mode, I mean, the damn Zombies mode can be played on a iOS device for fucks sake. Even so, it looks Nihilistic would like to do it but it's an issue with Activision and Sony: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=494475

Going by a random hint Randy Pitchford gave on Twitter, along with the title of a leaked IGN page, looks like we might get the Mechromancer class a week early (That or a big balance patch for some of the overpowered stuff lol...)

seems more of an activision issue than a sony issue. since zombies is a treyarch mode. only thing i could see being on sony is not wanting to give activision a ton of money to get the rights for it.

it's a shame that there aren't more quality developers handling some of these titles. hopefully by next year they get something figured out. i'm not a call of duty fan, but i was actually looking forward to this when it was announced.
That's a surprisingly fair price for the DMC Collection.
that's what i was thinking. i'm very tempted by that, but with having plus, i have enough full games downloaded. i'll grab a disc copy eventually.

I was able to hit my $100+ in one fell swoop today when i grabbed the AC3G+AC3:L bundle for $120

I reckoned that for about $100 to get both AC3 and AC3L would be about average, but to get the $30 season pass thrown in for (what is essentially) free? couldn't pass that up.

Kof 13 sounds like a great edition to plus, although i would have rather had Resident Evil 5 Gold but kof is better than darksiders or RDR in my book.

AC III gold edition (includes season pass) $90 + AC III liberation $40 = $130. So the bundle is $10 off. By far not a good deal in my book. Throw in the $20 credit you'll receive in November and it's decent at best.

Considering the last title and perhaps the others before it (can't recall offhand) hit about 30 during black friday, I wouldn't consider it a deal.

Just to clarify, you got the bundle for $120, not $100. Applying credit that you won't get for a month to today's purchase is a little odd.
I wish the store just updated at a regular time. Noon would be sensible.
Sony is A LOT BETTER about publishing the store these days then they used to be. More often than not for the last few months it is up by about 2pm ET whereas before it was 5pm one month then, 11am the next day the following month and then 9pm the month after that.

So give them some props for locking it down better, it's not easy because there are many multiple constraints to deal with for the update and a problem with just one delays the whole store.
I wish the store just updated at a regular time. Noon would be sensible.
Like others on here have suggested, just get in the habit of checking the store Wednesday morning at 8am. It will be updated for sure, and you can set that as your "regular time".
I wish the store just updated at a regular time. Noon would be sensible.
Sony is just as bad with their MMOs. DC Universe goes down for updates sometimes on Friday nights around 5-6 cst for several hours. It usually takes longer than they expected and its down for most the night.

Another CAG that plays DC Universe Online? Holy shit. I didn't know there were more of us.
