way late, but i noticed that new copies of nhl 13 have a code for nhl 3 on 3 arcade in them. explains why it was near the top of the chart in september. (didn't notice if anyone else had mentioned this.)

nice to see sales starting on ps2 classics, hopefully it happens more often, and they get more added in. would also be nice to play these on vita somehow, even if via remote play.
Makes sense. I was wondering why 3 on 3 was so popular last month.
Not feeling that new PS store design. Doesn't look fun. When I'm shopping for games, I want Disney not Saks Fifth Avenue.
From the previews I've seen I don't like it at all either. I'll reserve final judgement until I get my hands on it, but so far I'm unimpressed.

Thanks for sharing the video Frisky. That guy is god-awful though, probably best viewed on mute.

Feels like we went from Mac OS X to Metro, neither of which are good.

SingStar is becoming a free download soon. I'm guessing that means you'll get the core game, probably with a couple of free songs, and then you buy what you want as DLC.
not looking forward to this at all. looks like just another way for them to shove videos in my face that i have no interest in. at least before they split up videos/games content. I have no interest in any video content and now its gonna be mixed in? ugh.
i just hope they dont mess anything up and we all lose our current wallets or already purchased/dl'd games, etc. oh wellz
I agree.

I never used PSN video store for a reason, I don't want to. I also don't like looking at advertisements every page, I block that stuff on my PC for a reason. And video playing in background? I see lots of lag incoming, and old PSN store was bad enough with that clock loading in top right.
The current PS Store design is too bright on the eyes with that blue. The new one will be a welcomed change! Plus it's HTML5
I can only dream this is a precursor to making the store available online like xbox does. That's so stinkin convenient.
will Fez ever come to PSN? I know its an XBLA exclusive game but its bound to come to other platforms at some point right?
It's published by M$, so it is EXTREMELY unlikely.

The Chronicles of Narnia as a PS2 classic?

I know they have to make sure folks can still cash in on HD remakes, but surely they can do better than that. Gradius V? Klonoa 2? Digital Devil Saga? Shadow Hearts? So many good PS2 games that could go on there.

Don't get me started on what games deserve the title "PS2 Classic" versus most of what they've put up thus far.

I didn't know microsoft published it, I have been dying to play this game ever since I saw Indie Game The Movie but I don't own an Xbox 360 so I hope this game makes it onto psn or steam at some point

There are ads on every page in the PS Store for various things in the PS Store for a long time now, which includes ads for Movies and TV Shows in the Game Store. No videos were auto-playing in that walkthrough, so there won't be any issues if you don't click on them.

I was pretty stoked at first with Odin Sphere, God Hand, and Persona 3, I thought we'd be getting more along those lines. It's been pretty lousy outside of those.

That doesn't really mean anything. Phil Fish is eager to see the exclusivity contract expire so he can get the game on Steam and I'm sure it'll come to PSN at some point if he wants to get it out to more people after that.

is Phil Fish really thinking of bring the game to Steam, after all he did say "PC are for spreadsheets" seems he's changed his mind about that

Anyway, when does the time-exclusive contract end, the game released back in April so it can't be long now

That would only be known by him and Microsoft, but this is what he said about that:
During the Q&A, someone inevitably asked if Fez would escape Xbox 360 exclusivity, and while Fish would not explicitly say yes, he didn’t try very hard to say no, either.

“Maybe?” he said. “We are looking at porting the game to other platforms, but there’s nothing concrete about it, so we won’t say which ones, just to be a tease. But, of course, I want the game to be on everything, I don’t want to be stuck on Xbox Live Arcade. I spent five years of my life working on this, I want everybody to play it.”

Whaaaat??? WHERE IS MY CONTROLLER?
Dokuro's going to be $20 right? And how's Doctor Who?
pretty sure. Paid about 50 and thought it was well worth it. 20 is a steal.

I personally don't think it will ever make it to PSN, but I think it will probably hit Steam eventually. Although you're really not missing out on all that much.

I just hope he eventually makes a version that isn't hilariously broken and poorly coded. Maybe he could like, hire a guy for QA. Though after that movie I doubt anyone would accept a job from him, lol.

Do you lose more indie cred by hiring a 2nd guy again, or getting published by a multi billion dollar company? I can never keep up with how you stay indie while obviously and objectively selling out.
Anyone know if you can gameshare Vita DLC?
I wanna say no since the Vita Memory card is linked to a profile. From my experience, it won't even let me use JP vita demo since that is linked to another profile.

If you haven't tried Journey yet, make sure to! Absolutely one of the best and most cerebral experiences I've had this entire generation. And this is coming from one of its biggest skeptics. Probably a better deal to get the collector's edition on disc, though.
Dokuro's going to be $20 right?
Yup, confirmed to be $19.99.

Same here. Sad face.
Looks like beta for Playstation All Stars is starting a week early for PS+ members this Tuesday.
I know I've seen a few people on my 'friend's list' playing a certain version of the 'beta' earlier in the month, so maybe they're running different phases of it.
Anyone know if you can gameshare Vita DLC?
Gameshare as in a Console Sense no.

Gameshare as in amongst Family, Yes.

Me and my father Share all the games i buy digitally. You and said person must have the same account on the vita.

Say if you created a separate Vita account just for you and him you can share ALL games bought from that account. Since each PSN account can be activated on two hand-held devices.

Only draw-back is that you cannot be online on the same game at the same time.

Online playing a different game should work.

I wanna buy a psn card online, but it´s sold out on Best Buy and i cannot buy it on Amazon (US customers only). Where can i buy it?

Costume Quest plus the bonus DLC for only $3.75 is an amazing deal. I'm 1/2 tempted to get this, even though I have both on XBLA.

Not sure if I want to get Sanctum of Slime despite the low price. Tried the XBLA demo and it was just sooo boring.

As bad as the Ghostbusters demo was, my son has taken over my love for the IP and it will be a nice way to get over the $99.96 hump for this this month's promo

Good week! Pity I have a vast majority of the stuff, but I'll definitely be getting a few things.

Also, nice to see Payday for free. I think most you guys already bought it or got it last year during the PSN Play promo, but I've been able to hold off on all the sales, so very nice to get it for free. :)

Sad that I already have or played all the games I want from the Halloween sale list. however anyone even thinking of them shoulde defnitely get Dead Space 2, Costume Quest, Dead Nation and Festival of Blood. All very good games and all even better for those prices.
