If you can look past that you're left with some medicore combat. Based on what little I've played of the game it appears that you're pretty much making your way through a series of corridors rather than through an open world.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think I'm going to give it a go despite some of the poor reviews and your suggestion of caution :). I'm not a fan of "open world" games and enjoy something more linear. I spent more time with Risen than Skyrim. Bound by Flame looks like one of those Euro games with rough edges that I can often get into.

well besides now you Cant resell it and get anything for it. At least when it was CD you could sold it and got money back

and still dont get you math

you paid 29 for it. you got 19.50 for it so you lost 10 (or was it 19+ 50%)

 
Wait wait wait, go back! We found someone who paid for PS+ service only for Vita and PSP games/deals?! Ignoring all PS3 freebies and even PS4 freebies when that came out? I'm stunned. All those "lame vita sales this week" posts suddenly make sense.

Whoops, I forgot that it's an extra 10% for PS+ but there's also an unseen discount for the uncool people who don't have PS+.

Still I think I'll pass. I have enough to play now and I can wait for it to get cheaper or free,

I might get that Danganronpa thing. I thought when the sequel came out the physical version would get cheaper, but right now it's actually more expensive (on Amazon).

 
Is catherine worth it? I tried the demo and I wasn't sure if I liked it. Seemed fairly boring.

It looks more like it's going OOS. Amazon, Gamestop, and Best Buy no longer carries copies.

I don't really care if people 'crowd our turf' too much, I just think the concept would create too much turmoil.

It's essentially a bonus 2 months of games that only benefit new users -- and doesn't reward loyal long time (multi-year) users at all. And in fact, if anything, undercuts their loyalty.

It's actually not too dissimilar in concept to the whole stable of 'year long' games that used to come with ps+... a new user would get a bunch of games that current members had access to for the past year. But they just did away with that, and, as an existing user I definitely prefer this new system.

 
So I need some advice, I want really danganronpa but am in no rush to play. Should I just wait for PS+? 

I missed out on getting don't starve on ps+, I really want the game. Should I go ahead and pick it up now and if I do buy it, should I get the psvita cross by that releases later for free?

I know I'm asking subjective questions, I just want some input.

 
What are everyone's opinions on Guacamelee for $8.99? Not necessarily the quality of the game (I know it's good), but the price point for what is included in this bundle? Should I hold out for it to be free on Plus or purchase the Super Championship Edition on PS4 when I get one? I'm always tempted when the game is on sale but never pull the trigger...I'm just curious if anyone thinks now is the time to buy or if I should wait.

It's a good game, but if you think you are going to get a PS4 eventually you might as well wait for a sale price on that since it has all the DLC (the challenge rooms are fairly enjoyable) and a few extra levels and an extra boss which we don't get the option of purchasing to play on the PS3/vita version.

i'm having the same dilemma with danganronpa. I don't know that it'll ever be a ps+ game though. i'm just wondering how long of a wait till it's $10, if ever.

if you really want don't starve, you could justifiably buy either since it's cross-buy. if you want to clearly support the vita version, wait a week. else just buy now. i love the game.

the game consists of some sort of relationship drama and a puzzle game mechanic.
i disliked both of those things quite a bit. if you didn't like the demo, i seriously doubt you'd like the game. i actually like puzzle games usually, just didn't like this one.

I would've liked a physical version, but Danganronpa is good enough at that price for me. The physical version pretty much never went below $40 anyway.

I just finished Infamous: First Light and I must say I enjoyed it. Fetch is a much better character than Delsin was. It was short and a bit repetitive because you only have that one power but I enjoyed the story. I'm also getting a kick out of the arena challenges. It's a 4-5 hour game. And I'm not sure I'll be going for that Platinum trophy. I have zero to my username :(

Anyway 8/10 for me.
 
Nice ending for season 2 of the Walking Dead.  After looking up the alternate endings online, I'm surprised how freedom the developers gave the player this time around.  Lots of diverging paths.  It'll be interesting to see how they pick that up in season 3... though I bet they'll find a way to make the paths merge into one within the first half of the first episode anyway.

 
I started Infamous First Light and I really like how they turned this game into more of a Crackdown-style sandbox with neon orbs all around the north island from the original game that you require using Fetch's abilities to reach. They made some smart adjustments to her abilities, like these neon gas pockets that are all around the place that act as speed boosts to let you make bigger jumps or get around even faster. The side quests consist of races and neon graffiti with the former being like a much better form of Crackdown 2's racing orbs and the latter is a simpler method of motion-controlled graffiti using her neon powers like you'd see in the original game. There are still story missions, but I'm enjoying just running around and doing this sandbox stuff first before I engage the story.

 
Probably dumb question:

If I trade in Trials Fusion to best buy (with the promo it gets $25.50)

Will the season pass from the disc version still work with the digital version?

im loving it as well and i will indeed go for the plat trophy so im taking my time beating it :D

Yes both seasons...also physically...and separately, seems like a waste of disc space/extra distribution costs/missing out on a great value. But dat money doe :D/

Because they don't want me trading in the game, which allows someone to get the game without paying them anything and then using extra bandwidth on me just so I can get a couple of bucks to buy games that they've put on sale which = more bandwidth/not the actual money I'd spend otherwise :whistle2:
