Also WTF, why are all the controls for Isaac not bound off the bat?!?  Don't know if it's different on the PS4 version but it's that way on the Vita version and you can't even change it while in the game.

 
The best part of Isaac?  When you get some ridiculously OP item combo (flying plus a giant persistent tear that can be steered around at will) after several runs of crap.

The worst part of Isaac?  When you get an OP item combo on an early run of the game so it ends prematurely and you get to start all over.  That and being 5 cents short of unlocking another character when that happens.

Really? That's extremely odd. Sure it binds some stuff to the touch screen but you can also put all that on buttons. I would yell at Nicalis until they patch the game to support it.

As of May 31, 2014 online matchmaking will no longer function for Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe due to Gamespy removing its online infrastructure and support for a number of titles. WB Games evaluated a large number of migration solutions, including extensive discussions with the engineering team at NetherRealm Studios. Due to the complexities of supporting the game’s older networking framework, there was no feasible way to integrate a new network layer. This was a very difficult realization for us given the passion we have for the game.

After doing a bunch of pre-orders I have $1.78 left in my wallet and with the current deals I can use that balance towards either:

Planets Under Attack [PS3]
Strength Of The Sword 3 [PS3]
Draw Slasher [VITA]

Not complaining but once again bought Injustice and Lego Marvel digital during the big comicbook themed sale and once again these games are coming out free.  Must refrain from buying digital, must refrain from buying games on sale...

What do you mean by it ending prematurely? Surely if you're OP you're beating the game? I'm actually surprised how easy BoI is. I've been putting Mom in her place all night, whether I'm OP or not. Actually, I can't say I've found a truly monster combo yet. Though last game I had 99 bombs (found a 99 bomb item) and like 20 keys when i beat mom. I also had some sort of 'xray vision' combined with 'see forever' or something like that, and one of those meant i could see/enter tons of secret rooms i had no idea were even there previous playthroughs.

Is lego marvel coming out for free? Where did you see that info? I just saw injustice
 
He's just doing some preemptive complaining. Or maybe he's from the future and he's ruined the time-space fabric since we weren't supposed to know about it yet. I hope it's the latter.
 
I got excited for a second thinking Arkham Origins PS3 was going to be included on the list of batman games for sale. Bait and switch, amirite?

Hey, is there any way to put a PSP game not natively supported by the Vita on the Vita without a Playstation 3? Is it possible to transfer a game to a PSP first, copy the file to a PC, and finally transfer the file to the Vita?

Do you guys know how Sony delivers the $15 PSN bonus for spending $100 in October? E-mail message or one on PSN? I wonder if I met their requirements as I think I purchased the second game that made my purchases over $100 on Oct 28th exactly, which appears to have been the deadline date for the promo.

I enjoyed my time with Strength of the Sword 3, but it's tough and requires a lot of replay to learn patterns and perfect strategies.

 
I played Luftrausers and at first I found the game to be really stupid but I ended up putting like 2 hrs. into it because those challenges are pretty addicting to complete.

Nothing to do with the quote, but I see your avatar pic is the sackboy costume for Costume Quest 2. Was it ever in the game? I beat it last week, did every mission, got pretty much everything and couldn't find it. ps4 btw

I don't know I haven't played the game, I just stole it from the trailer. But my understanding is it's not going to be in the game until a future update, which is kinda lame.

 
Some good news for anime fans: the Crunchyroll app for Vita was updated to include what looks like the entire catalog. You can watch anything now for free (supported by short ads, like 10 seconds) including Japanese and Korean dramas which previously required a separate or all-in-one membership to view. You don't even need an account anymore.

The PS3 app hasn't been updated and I don't know about PS4 since I don't have one.

That's cool. It would be nice if they would update the Netflix app to support profiles, and just not suck in general. It's by far the worst one on any device I've owned. Ironically, the PS3 one might be the best.

They send out PMs on PSN via PS4, PS3, or Vita and through email.

CD Projekt Red is going to be awesome and release 16 DLC packs for The Witcher 3 after launch with one coming every week and they're all going to be free. No catches, just free stuff.

It's a puzzle game similar to the old "lights out" game concept. I took that concept and ran with it as far as I could, implementing all of the features I could think of: a ton of levels (90), a random level generator with adjustable difficulty, a level editor, 18 graphics skins, etc. I wrote it originally for Android, so this is an enhanced port with some new improvements.

This is my first Vita game, but I've written a lot of other games over the years. Originally started developing games when I was 12, so that makes it about 14 years now. :)

I've started up on my next Vita project, and for this one, I'm trying to develop a cross-platform engine so that all of my future games for the next few years can be released on a bunch of consoles at once: Vita, PC, and hopefully PS4 and XBox. Platformers and RPGs are my favorite genres to work with, so that's probably what I'll be focusing on for a while.

Really? I can't imagine they'd update for just the smallest PlayStation market segment. The latest episodes of every show are reserved for premium members - a week for everyone else - and after you select an episode, you have to press Square to watch with ads.

Maybe someone else with a PS4 has better luck?

You are correct sir. You never did mention you needed to press square in order to watch the videos though. I don't think you have to wait a week. Im able to see the lastest episode of One Piece, but maybe that has something to do with me watching while I was still a member.

I thought this month's PS+ games collection was pretty awful, but I am loving Binding of Isaac. 

I wish Team Meat and Sony didn't hate each other so we could get Super Meat Boy on the Vita. 

 
Why do you say that? If anything, they hated Microsoft since their game didn't go up when Microsoft promised it would. They've changed their tune afterward, though - I guess Microsoft made nice with them somehow.
 
Yeah, they got burned by MS something fierce like a lot of these indie exclusives. It was one of the first of those games so I wonder if they didn't get signed to not being able to do a PS3 version ever. I do remember saying that they did several times more PC sales in a short period after it released on Steam than they had done lifetime on 360. So it would seem that it's actually pretty remarkable that we got a port of BoI and that Sony likely courted them pretty hard.

To be fair, Binding of Isaac isn't a Team Meat game. It's made by one of its members, Edmund, but that's it for the overlap.

I think it has gotten out that Microsoft makes indies they publish sign exclusivity deals to not appear on other consoles for a few years to get featured on XBLA, but I'd be surprised if Team Meat agreed to a lifetime exclusivity deal. I'd guess that they would rather move on to new Meat Boy and other Team Meat games than work on more ports for SMB.
