What those of us over there came for before is now over there and not here (except when somebody decides it's OK for a while, I guess), so of course we are over there. It's stupid that there are two threads. It shouldn't be a shock that those of us over there are also interested in deals, so we talk about those too because what's the point in talking about it in two threads? That's all there is to it.

You were responding to a post about how threads like this one go off topic, because that's what they do. Thus the confusion. But yes, after some of the folks here went off topic, some joined in. Regrets were expressed over there. You could try to stick to your guns and call in the mods whenever this one strays off topic, regardless of who does it. Then maybe the split makes sense.

The Hunger Games movies are pretty damn good, despite the source material bring aimed at young adults. Jennifer Lawrence is great.

I've heard this a lot, but I felt like Catching Fire was a 90% retread of the first Hunger Games movie. And the first one was more Battle Royale-ish in action, so as someone who has not read the books, I found it more enjoyable. Oddly, when I brought this up to a coworker who is more of a fan, he immediately agreed with me, but it's still strangely not brought up much.

My main problem with the first one (movie-wise) was all the quick cuts between shots to avoid showing the violence in the games, which I assume was done to keep the movie PG-13. Most of the other problems have to do with the changes they made from the book.

 
Absolutely excited to see "Another World" on PSN.  Watched a gameplay video on Youtube of it a few months back and was stunned at the quality.  PSN FTW!

 
Some of the sports games from this sale apparently never went back to their full price, so I added them (FIFA, PES, Hot Shots Golf/Tennis PSP/Vita, MLB 13 Vita, and Sports Champions 1/2) to the OP.

Hate to be that guy (...actually, I don't) but the Hunger Games books are much better than the movies. But, yes, the 2nd is better than the first and definitely worth the .99 if you've been waiting to see it. Wonder what they're going do with P. Seymour Hoffman's recent passing.

Getting these librarian trophies in The Wolf Among Us are a bit annoying since I have to play quite a bit more than I'd like just to do the one thing I missed doing to get an entry. The most annoying one involves a search between three areas in episode three that I can't just hop into that chapter since the decision of where to go first is in the previous chapter and I can only get this one entry by going to this one place first.

 
Wait, the trophies aren't just story related like TWD? The first episode seemed that way. Guess they caught on. My first "platinum" (and only one for like a year), lol.

Unfortunately I have some bad news to report on the Terraria end. Was trying to do some online co-op and it refused to allow us to join each others' worlds. Googled it and this, too, seems to be another issue related to the vita port. Not sure how common it is. Currently trying to find workaround.

Each episode has a trophy for unlocking all the book of fables, some of which are missable. Otherwise they are all story related.

 
Had a friend over and we played Towerfall Ascension and jesus christ that game is hard. Took hours and we're barely through quest mode. Very fun game and almost feel guilty getting it for free through PS+.

Well, nerd is at least an upgrade from hipster. And hopefully we can also agree that J.Lawrence is currently the most overrated actress in Hollywood.

That kind of sucks about these missable collectibles. I played episode 1 and don't remember anything like that. Hopefully it's not too involving or dependent on "certain" choices. Just nothing that subverts the story for the sake of getting 100%. I know trophy diehards turn their noses up at these kind of trophies but I like that it allows folks..to just play. That will piss me off if they went all meta-gamey.

There was one decision in the first episode where you need to make both choices to get both entries.

Novice Librarian

Unlocked all Book of Fables entries in Episode 1.

You’ll gain all but one of the Fables entries for Episode 1 through natural progression. To gain the last one you’re missing, go back to the last chapter (Chapter 6) and pick the "Rewind" option. It'll prompt you to pick a save file. Pick an empty file so you don't overwrite the choices from your initial playthrough. Go through Chapter 6 again and when faced with the choice with Gren at the end, choose the opposite from which you picked before.

 
They're not really collectibles in the traditional sense since you get 96% by playing how you want. You can easily rewind afterward to those chapters without messing up the save.

I would have preferred it if they offered a more fleshed out Book of Fables with more background info on them and what stories they came from.

Finding a novel enjoyable doesn't mean you think it was well-written. I did like Winter's Bone too, but I don't hate Jennifer Lawrence, so I don't know.

 
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will not be region locked like the first game, which I believe is mainly good news for EU people. They're going to have free DLC early that adds Young Detective (Adachi) to the roster.

I think I'm going to rent the first for the story and maybe pre-order this sequel.

It's odd that she seems to go steadily downward with the quality of her acting (mainly on account of lackluster scripts) with each new movie from where she started. Not saying she's a bad actor, but people do sort of make her out to be the greatest thing to grace the screen in years.

If you're going by their e-mail, they've only announced the American version to be region-free. No word on European or Japanese versions.

Any opinions on Stella Deus? Hard to go wrong with $4 but I have a pretty good sized pile already.
