I posted in the other thread too but I bought Sly for vita and in my download list I can download all 3 games for PS3 or Vita, so dunno if that means its cross buy or not but I think it does?

the PS3 version is also now Unavailable to buy in the PSN store for me

I wonder if this is one of those situations in which they have a sale right before doing a price drop. I expect DmC to drop to $20 to make my 75% off less exciting.

I bought the Vita version, but all 3 PS3 versions and the PS3 listing for Sly Collection still show as $9.99 for me.

How do they hold up against Thieves in Time?
Some people say that Thieves in Time wasn't as good as these, but I think it stands on its own. Sly 1 is more level-based and pretty different, but its sequels are somewhat similar to Thieves in Time.

You can download them to PS3 to transfer over to Vita. That's why you see PS3 listed as a download option.

Thieves in Time is a bit better, but I've played through three (Sly, Sly 2, and Thieves in Time) of the four and Sanzaru did a great job of making a game that is in line with Sly 2 and 3. The controls are really good and that helps it age better than other Sony HD collections.

Man, I wish we knew what the sale prices were going to be for that leaked/glitched PAX 2014 sale (if it actually materializes) before spending any money on this current Flash Sale.  The only game I don't already own from it that interests me is RE: Revelations. $9.99 for it is decent, but if some of the games in the PAX sale get prices, I'll have wished I hadn't spent anything during this Flash Sale...

Don't forget that the God of War Collection is Cross Buy, so you get both versions for $9.99 for a total of four platinums to earn. The Sly Collection isn't Cross Buy.

4 platinums, you say?! SOLD.

I've played all the Sly games and TiT is my least favorite. I just can't get into it. Doesn't have the same charm as the others and I hate playing as that goddamn turtle. 1 is probably my favorite, followed closely by 2. I even got the plat for the first, which again, is something I rarely do.

@Vigilante I actually tried to embed my trophy card once but couldn't figure out how to get it to update instead of just being a static image. It's whatever though since I mostly browse here from my phone anyway.

I like TiT. (ha ha!)

Okay, wait, I like Sly TiT (not much better I guess) but by far, the best parts of the game are when you are actually Sly.  Being his ancestors also has its moments but some are better than others.  At least they made me laugh.  Sometimes I would hope that Sly would hop in to the time van and leave that turtle someplace in the past.

Go to PSNProfiles. Click on trophy cards. Get the BB code. Put it in your sig.

Went to download Quantum Conundrum which I got for free when I bought the Tomb Raider Bundle, and rather than going through my download queue to find it, I decided to just go to the game's page and download it there. And of course it tried to make me buy the game. Apparently I only own it in my download queue. How stupid.

Can I get some fellow CAG's opinion's on Heavy Rain? I started It last night and couldn't get into it. I hate the gameplay feel to it. I know the story is top notch but I was basically forcing myself to at least get past the first part of the game (after the tragic event happens).

You're not alone. I felt the same way.

I loved it.  It's less of a game and more of a movie that you guide along, like the Walking Dead games.  If that's not your thing, I can see why you wouldn't like it.

Is there a way to buy the Vita game SF x Tekken if I already 'purchased' it when it was free with PS+? I don't plan to continue the subscription and like to own my games, digital or otherwise.
CS can and should remove something from your account on request. Ask to escalate if you run into trouble at the first layer.
Ive seen guys here state several times they have been able to do just that calling in and asking.
They DID remove the game from my account. I called, they said no. I said yes you can, please escalate. He was off the line for a while, then gave me a ticket number and said it would be removed in 24 hours. 6 hours later it's gone and I was able to buy it for $10.

Thanks to those who replied.

It's one of my favorite games of last gen. Stick with it.

It is sort of a murderer mystery movie simulation, with a few futuristic SciFi elements. There are more varied characters a little farther in. My wife liked it... until she tried to look up some info on the Internet. She found spoilers which ruined the rest of the game for her ( never completed at this point).

Heavy Rain is chapter based like a book, and how you perform early on can affect later chapters and story branches. After the first couple of chapters the pace picks up a bit (and you get more used to the controls). Just DON'T LOOKUP THE GAME ON THE 'NET lest it be spoiled for you as well.

I like how most of the story unfolded during the game, though it cheats, so it kinda ended on a sour note for me. I was also annoyed that if I wanted to get a certain ending rather than just playing that chapter with the test I didn't 100, I had to play from that point all the way to the end again and that annoying section with the highway was pretty far back so I don't intend to play it again, especially since their NO fuck ING SKIP DIALOGUE OPTION.

Well Mx vs. Atv Alive Ultimate popped up...gonna get me a PSN card this weekend and grab it.  I just wish I could confirm how much of the DLC is actually in the Ultimate Edition.

Resident Evil Revelations worth getting at $10?
Yes. Quite enjoyed it on 3DS. The atmosphere was great there and it only gets better on consoles.

The biggest issues I had with the 3DS version was that it loads the screen with enemies that are quite fast, way too fast for a system with one analog stick. That should also be rectified here.

Beat Rayman Legends (8/10)

No spoilers, just a wall of text copy and pasted from elsewhere
Okay, okay, I exaggerated on its quality. But the beginning was so Mur-fucked. As was, ironically enough, the very last portrait and its inner levels. They really summarize the game as a whole - a lot of great ideas, a lot of botched execution.

Murfy was absolutely horrendous more often than not. First off, he fucks up the pacing big time, but more on that later. My right thumb has two main priorities in Rayman games, jumping and attacking, both which when Ubisoft is on top of their game come together in a nice rhythm. Punches, ground pounds, spins, etc. can all lead to boosts in jumping, while jumping adds dimension to the attacks, like what they can do and even things like the blue punches. The extra button assigned to Murphy does nothing. Moving a plate, adding guacamole, eating cake, etc. are all glorified versions of what better platformers (like Origins) do already - create the harmonious environment that both encourages exploration while pushing you along the path. Murfy's inclusion to simply create platforms, tickle bad guys, and all hurts the game so much. All it does is add an extra step to the origami, extra seasoning to the perfect curry. It ruins it.

The pacing of Rayman, both Origins and Legends, is also slightly off. Sometimes the game wants you to completely run like you're fucking Seabiscuit yet they both want to hold you back a bit for shiny tidbits and Teensies. I'm happy Legends' latter half went balls out towards sprinting levels, dropping Murfy and his boring breaks of pace. Again, creating Murfy just for the player to make their own platforms is not satisfying in the least. At most, it works, at worst, it makes co-op sessions straight up unenjoyable.

I also felt that while there were awesome quality of life changes like enemies not needing extra jumps to get rid of them, there were small quirks that seem to be overlooked. I'm not sure if Origins had these to this extent, but there are parts where it felt like no one took the time to replay a level to determine if the player would execute this jump in this way or attack X before Y. Obviously the possibilities ensure nothing is perfect but here whenever the camera seems just too slow or I have to obnoxiously restart an entire level because it feels like trial and error versus the one-shot perfection that were Origins' treasure levels, it's a little hard not to be disappointed.

There's also a lack of a sense of adventure here. Like Origins started you off in a jungle, and then the mosquito levels came (hooray no mosquito levels here) and you were transported mid level to a different area. It felt natural. The overworld map added to that experience. Here, the tent is a content monger that's a little short on a sense of purpose - where are we exactly? I get "Legends" might imply the paintings in the background as legends are often memorialized that way and the small nod it is to Super Mario 64 as well, but it feels gamey, as if the best direction they thought of as to not feel like a retread of Origins is no direction at all. However, this goes away as Legends' levels become better and better and we get more Invasion levels.

Ahh, Invasion levels. Great stuff. They need more of these, because gaming needs more examples of short but sweet. These levels, along with the fantastic music levels (WHY AREN'T THERE MORE MUSIC LEVELS), demonstrate a certain amount of cinematography in how fast, fluid, and dynamic they feel. Really great stuff. They're not the treasure leels (I'm a whiny bitch, I know), but they serve a great purpose.

Anyways, it's past midnight here, so I'm tired and rambling again. Game's really good, nearing great, but it's not Origins in terms of execution. Whereas that feels like an adventure through Michael Ancel's strangest dreams, this feels like a game that wanted to achieve a level that was one step higher, akin to Super Mario Galaxy and 2 surpassing the prequel. Unfortunately, it failed, but with the daily challenges, scratch tickets, Origins' levels, and a bit more, it's not a bad buy on the PS4.

Also, no loading times. Also Remote Play worked really well here. Finished about 3/5 of the game via Remote Play, including the last entire set of levels and tons of Invasion levels. If you have decent WiFi, you'll only notice the slightest delay, not enough to fuck up most jumps and all

All I gotta say to this is that Rayman Legends is best played on the Wii U with at least one other friend. The other versions are just fine for single player but the Murfy stuff works waaaaay better with the gamepad. It makes more sense and keeps the pace of the game strong without slowing it down. The trade-off is that the Wii U version is the WORST for single player. There's no option to not play it on the gamepad which means when Murfy shows up, the CPU takes over Rayman and you have to guide him through the stage as he pretty much misses every collectable and at a MIND NUMBING pace.

I downloaded Fez last night and although it's interesting, I'm annoyed by the load times. Too bad the head developer is such a prisssy pants.

I bought Tales of Graces f since I noticed a good deal of the other games have gone below $10 retail.
