Got all the free stuff, and I already have Child of Light on my 360.

I want Second Son, but I have a feeling I'll be able to get that for less on black Friday. I'll check out Warframe.

Amen. For all its quirks, ME1 is still my favorite. I definitely recommend playing it first.

First Light ($15) has a platinum and I can't understand why. Especially when compared to stuff like Ground Zeroes and Child of Light. My shortest and easiest ever. I'll be surprised if someone even makes a guide for it.

I... don't agree at all. But we've already beaten this horse. I'm just objecting to the statement that I 'have to' agree. I think Velocity 2x and TxK are god tier games. Getting Don't Starve (surprise stealth ps+ game) and Joe Danger vita on top of that is just awesome.

I can understand not digging it if you don't have all 3 systems... but I do. And I just got a huge pile of awesome vita games in my lap. The ps3 offerings are meh (Hoarde is actually good, though) but the ps4 offerings are actually pretty solid if you're understanding of the fact we're not going to get bluray titles yet.

 
I only played the first two ME games but I felt more attached to the first game and I loved the exploration aspects of the game especially the oddly disliked mako sections.

On topic, great deal on the Max Payne 3/RDR bundle. Pleasantly suprised to see two games I was genuinely interested in buying at a hell of a bundle price. Makes up for the lackluster PS+ games this month.

Nice to look forward to playing real games instead of indie bleh. Of course once again I'll be playing these on my PS3 and yet again nothing to get excited about for my PS4. Next Tuesday can't come soon enough.

If you are referring to new Plus games available for free next Tuesday, Sony have changed the format where you will get all 6 free games each month on the first Tuesday of every month now. You'll have to wait a month from now to see the next 6 new offerings I'm afraid.

It still has long elevator sequences, but it's better than on 360. Mostly because they back ported a bunch of PS3 code from ME2. The lighting is noticeably better, etc.
 
Played a bit of Hoard tonight and I just don't see what everyone finds so fun about that game. And it kinda sucks that Sportsfriends does not have online multiplayer so thats another game I won't be playing this month. That leaves PSABR but I already had that and put a good bit of time into it maybe ill jump back into the multiplayer this weekend.

You should be able to play Sport Friends online with friends when Share Play arrives in the 2.0 update
 
Just havent been impressed with PS+ lately at all. Were seeing more and more indie and smaller games as opposed to quality retail games.  I haven't seen a really high quality month since January & February. Oh well, not much one can do really. It is what it is.

Question gentleman...I got a PS4 on Saturday and the sound card I was using for the PS3 will not fit in the PS4. It's too bulky. I have Turtle Beach Earforce X11. I assume audio and chat would work fine as long as I get a sound card that fits?

 
anyone else have any issues with Dragon's Crown they got off plus?

i was doing a chain run and i got one of those pop up messages. i half read it but it said "... expiring in 30 mins."

i got another message at 5 mins.

it then drops me out of the game to the xmb.

i snagged DC ps3 and DC vita mid last month for free on ps+. i also subbed in for a year starting last month.

the games still in the xmb, and relaunched right away. but now im wary.

none of my chain run was saved.

the only thing i can think that might have niggled the psn gods was i took off the 'auto renew' option in the PS+, but i still have 10 - 11 months to go.

 
Under Defeat is a no-brainer at this price, just buy it if you have any love for shmups at all!  Also a word of advice if you pick it up, keep in mind there is a "twin-stick" shooting mode, left stick moves helicopter, right stick fires in the direction it's pointed; MUCH easier than the default control option.  Don't give up on the game before you try twin-stick mode, it's a huge improvement.

 
I was just about ready to order Mass Effect Trilogy on eBay for $32 until I saw this topic. Couldn't resist all three Mass Effect games at $14. Mind you, I have all three games on PC, but the keyboard/mouse only thing totally kills it. It's going to do some serious damage to my 500GB HDD, but at least I'm only doing minor damage to my wallet.

I got the same "content expiring in 30 minutes" message 2 days ago on the PS3. My Plus doesn't expire probably until the PS5 comes out in 7-10 years from now. I quickly saved, quit the game and then rebooted it and haven't seen the message since, though, I have finished the game since then. I've had this message once or twice before last year while playing with different games. Just quit out and reload the game, and you should be fine...as long as your Plus subscription wasn't ending on that particular day, which yours wasn't.

hopefully its some residual bs from lizard squad or something.

naturally a forced stop is super annoying.

moreso salt in the wounds for me since i have both physical copies of Dragon's Crown, and downloaded it to have my disc game as an alternate.

i had planned to chain the labyrinth of chaos til my gear turned to shreds >_<

Anyone else having problems with Joe Danger Vita? It was freezing and I had to restart it a couple times and my save file was corrupted. My friend had issues with it too so I'm wondering if it's a widespread issue. They need to fix that.

It froze on me about ten minutes into playing it.

Agree. Bought it yesterday, didn't know about the twin stick shooting mode, that's perfect!

I didn't have problems with this one, but I did have problems one time similar. I think it confused it for a 1 hour time trial, instead of the PS+ license.

also if you wanna "cheat" and get through the levels on harder difficulties you can use 2-player and switch between controllers. just bought the game for $2 or whatever but haven't downloaded it yet so not sure how hard it is.

and does any1 know what the frame rate on the game is? this is a dreamcast/arcade port, right? is it 60 fps?

Quite a few people are reporting freezing problems. It happened to me too. I'm sure they will be working on it.

It's been mentioned a few times already. Did you guys grab the update that was up at launch? I've played through the first set of levels and haven't had any freezes.

fun 20 hour game just too bad the replay value wasnt as much as i hope. I would love to see a game like this come out on CART or come out as PART 2 but 2 to 3 times bigger. This would be one game i would be more then happy to pay 40 bucks for it if the game was 3x as big

I want the PS4 and Vita versions, but I heard those aren't cross-buy (only PS3/Vita). However, I'll buy the retail PS4 version to have a hard copy, and maybe pick up the Vita digital later on sale.

You can essentially get all three for $25 with the way they've set it up (PS3/Vita $20 Cross Buy, then $5 PS4 Upgrade) instead of paying $40 for PS4 & Vita.

True, but that would be for the PS4 digital version, not retail. But I'll probably go that way anyway and just get the retail PS4 version later. Good point though, thanks!
