Thinking about getting Deadly Premonition. I hear it is a hit or miss and also similar to twin peaks. I do like physical copies though. Is the game too rare to get a physical copy new or should I just get it digital?

Also, is manhunt and the warriors worth it?

As a huge David Lynch fan I'll definitely say it has a Twin Peaks vibe and it's on purpose and you can tell. Twin Peaks was a huge hit in Japan around 92 as well even so much the characters from Twin Peaks did Japanese Commercials: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2j2-1V3Vw8

Now that I got that out of the way yes you should buy it because compared to the physical version it's a steal. I wouldn't say the game is rare but it's a cult game that still continues to hold value and if you have any interest in it then this sale is your cheapest option.

As for myself I couldn't play it simply due to the controls. It just felt like a clunky mess but the story, vibe, and everything I enjoyed for what I did play.

 
Picked up Deadly Premonition, Under Defeat HD and Alice Ultimate Bundle, absolutely love those games (played em on 360 with the exception of UD:HD)

 
Is the Vita version of Don't Starve supposed to be cross-buy? I got the PS4 version from PS+, but the Vita version is also showing up as free for me right now.

Now i'm intrigued. I haven't watched Twin Peaks yet, but it's next on my list and I hear so much praise for it. It might be cool to watch it, and then play this right after. Hmm.
 
I have Don't Starve PS4 free from PS+.

Now I have Don't Starve Reign of Giants Vita free.

Do I also get PS4 Reign of Giants free or do they actually want me to spend the money?

Oooo...those less than $10 PS3 games seem tempting, even though I have the sealed disc versions in my backlog.  I must break this need to keep these old games sealed.

I honestly didn't even see that part. When I originally read the story it didn't have the 'update', so when I just now posted it, er, yeah.

Well, that makes me feel better, though I did have some UMDs at one point, back in the day.

 
weird question. Would an NA code work in Australasia? Trying to see ly GTA V CE code and a guy from there wants to buy it but not sure it if will work.

Im guessing no since it would be considered EU?

I live in Australia and can tell you without a doubt it won't work. PSN content needs to be the same region as the disc.

If you're talking about The Warriors as in the Rockstar PSP game connected with the film... then yes, it's definitely worth it. I've played through it at least twice on ps2 and I'm halfway through another play on my vita. It's very reminiscent of the film, and the gameplay holds up -- you get in brawls, explore to find places to tag, break into cars/stores, avoid cops... fun stuff.

We got the extra dlc free on vita as a bonus. they still want you to buy it on ps4.

Darn it! I almost picked up minecraft physical for ps3 on the cheap in case there was an upgrade option, then decided the odds were slim. oh well. though i doubt i'd play it anyway, i guess.

 
Awhile ago I borrowed my friends copy of Minecraft and played for maybe 30 minutes or so before it went back to him, looked at the PS4 version and because I have achievements / save file I was able to purchase Minecraft on PS4 for $5.95.

Anyone who has a savefile / achievements (Played a physical copy, gameshares with a mate, etcI am sure will be able to get it at the discounted rate.

I assume the save file must be timestamped before, say, today? You can't just borrow a friend's and create a save file, right?

Take the numeric value of the current month. Divide by 3. If the remainder is 1 or 2, that means there will be a flash sale that month - the week is determined randomly.

Example: March is month 3. 3 goes into 3 evenly with no remainder, and no remainder, no flash sale. April is the 4th month. 3 goes into 4 once with 1 left over. So, flash sale.

That only works for a leap year, and it gets thrown off during daylight savings because the real system is based on a lunar calendar.

You've got that all backwards. It works for every year EXCEPT leap year. Ina leap year it's decided based on the groundhog seeing his shadow.

Yes it will. I have a good friend who lives in Australia, and I got him a US PSN Plus. Everything will work just fine, DLCs, Season Passes and all. He will need to create a free US account, which takes less than 3 minutes. Once he has the US account, download everything off PSN on that account. He will then be able to play all those games on his regular account. Cheers!

Traded in SSX back in 2012(?) while I was still enjoying it b/c trade-in deal was too good to pass up at the time.  Wonder if I should bite now at $5 and change. 

 
Is there likely to ever be a sale on Infamous: First Light? I don't recall there ever being a sale for Left Behind for the Last of Us. BUT I did get burned on Blood Dragon when I bought it for $15 and it went on sale for $3.xx, and I still haven't even played it, haha.

I played through all three on 360 back at launch and would like to replay through them but supposedly the first game didn't age well.

 
Playing Minecraft PS4 now. I haven't even touched this game since my original addiction to it to the beta back in like 09 or 2010. Didn't realize all the stuff they added. Not sure if I'm a fan of the hunger meter.

If you won't play it immediately, there's no point in paying full price for something. It will always be available for full price purchase. And yes, it will definitely go on sale. I'd guess it may take longer than other DLC, but i'm not very smart and frequently wrong.

First Light seems like a nice standalone DLC. I'm only an hour in or so, but it's basically very similar to the original game - so that may be great or a turn off for some. Personally, it's nice to go back to messing around in that world with those mechanics since it's been several months since I played Second Son.
