There were some good deals on PSN but can we have a headliner deal occasionally on the PS4 ffs?  Sell Resogun or some other new PS4 PSN title for $5.

Still surprised "Knack" isn't a PS+ title.  No offense Sony, we know it and you know it, that you'll eventually put "Knack" on PSN as no one is buying it really now based on reviews.

edit:  Can "Superfriends" please be patched with online play so I CAN play it?  It's a multiplayer only offline game.

Resogun was $7.49 a couple of months ago.

You mean Sportsfriends? It'll get online play when the big 2.0 update happens to let Share Play turn local co-op/MP games into online games.

If you game on Vita it doesn't affect you at all.

If you game on a PSP, all it really means is you need to buy on the webstore now. You can still download through your download list on your psp or via ps3 transfer.

All in all, it's a lot of nothing that some people misunderstood and/or spread misinformation about trying to make it look like digital gaming was the worst thing ever.

 
 
I like KZSF alright.   Don't love it, but don't understand the hate it gets either.  Very serviceable launch title.  I'm playing on hard and some of the fire fights are definitely challenging in a good way.  Run and gun will get you no where.

I really like the Murasaki Baby artwork and the puzzles look interesting but the gamer in the trailer is using touchscreen only which I tend to resist on the Vita for some reason. Run Like Hell is free on Google Play so I might try it on my phone first before making a purchase.

Will you be streaming anything from this list Frisky or do you do that anymore?

Vita version definitely still coming according to Mojang tweets.

As for the future? Anything could happen, but with a $2.5 billion purchase it's doubtful MS would want to limit it's userbase in anyway, shape, or form. That's a lot of money to make back, and it's in MS's interest to keep Minecraft culturally dominant, and you don't do that by pushing large segments of users away.

I think MS is looking at Minecraft as something like the Legos of the future. Branding, VR, merchandise...

That may be the case. Still, I'd like to see the Disney meeting where Meet the Robinson's was decided upon, out of the many titles in their library.

Considering Meet the Robinson's is not a very well known or much liked property, it is probably relatively easy to write new contracts for it for digital distribution as no contributors feel like they have any leverage in the proceedings. Whereas good games / games based off of very popular franchises, contributors to the game's production/publishers may be more likely to try and hold out for more money and delay proceedings.

Disney's all sorts of fucked up with digital distribution. There's a reason games like Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep aren't on psn, and that reason is Disney. But we get stuff like Meet the Robinsons and Lilo & Stitch so... all is okay.

What other PS2 games should they be putting up on PSN? I don't recall them having much in the way of noteworthy, non-licensed games in that era.

 
Kingdom hearts BBS isn't on the psn for the same reason that Star Ocean 1 & 2, Final fantasy 20th anniversary 1 & 2, and a number of other Squeenix games from the earlier life in the psp aren't on there, because Squeenix did not support digital distribution at the time, and I guess they don't ever look back, except to do unnecessary remakes.

Specifically PS2, none, that I personally would care about. But they have a deeper library than that. I was impressed Sega reached back to release some of its older titles on PSN (mostly from Genesis era, including a Mickey Mouse game). It'd be nice to have Disney Interactive do the same, rather than PS2 titles few people would purchase.

They've reached back to things that are easily ported to PSN, like their PS1 & PS2 titles. Anything more than that requires actual effort and they'd be more likely to just get somebody else to do it like the DuckTales and Castle of Illusion remakes.

Sega constantly goes back to their library of games, as the amount of collections they've done shows.

 
I definitely want more Sega back catalog. They released the four or five Dreamcast games, then nothing. They released the AM2 fighters like Virtua Fighter 2, Sonic the Fighters, and Fighting Vipers but no more. I want Virtua Fighter 3tb and Fighting Vipers 2! But that's unlikely to happen since the first Fighting Vipers only has just over 600 players ranked on the scoreboard. And don't get me started on the long-rumored Shenmue HD port.

Come to think of it, Sega sales were frequent for a time and now they've become much more sporadic.

Klaus is a 2015 puzzle platformer with a 4th wall-breaking story to it from a relatively new Venezuelan studio that won a Square Enix Latin American contest in 2012. There's a post mortem of their time working on Klaus for that contest here.

I don't think KH: BBS not being on PSN has anything to do with Disney. I've read a bunch of conflicting things but that seems most unlikely. Whatever the case, it sucks. Sold my PSP years ago and I'd love to do another KH run before KH3 drops.

And, damn, I just realized the HD remasters aren't even on PSN, lol.

Oh, haven't been keeping up with it so I didn't know. Thanks. Heck, it's coming out in like 2 weeks, actually. That's cool although I wish it was for PS4.

This reminded me of the awesome timeline movie GameTrailers made last year. Obvious spoilers if you haven't played. Story is a convoluted mess but I still love the parts I understand, lol.

It's not Amazon that sets it. Sony doesn't want denominations that low since the transaction fees would cut into their profit margin. I don't get this complaint. Chances are you are going to spend the other $5 relatively soon so just fund your wallet now. You'll be saving time too instead of always buying $5 cards if they existed.
 
Are Valiant Hearts and Pac Man: The Ghostly Adventures available on PS3?   The XBL deals thread said they were on sale this week and I don't know if I should buy it from Xbox or wait for tomorrow for a possible price match.

That may be my problem. I suck at playing. All these people are constantly shooting at me.

Maybe I should find a way to lower the difficulty until I get the hang of it.
