Can't decide on New Little King's Story, would be an easier buy at $5.  Is my assessment that it's basically Pikmin crossed with some other weird Japanese RPG accurate?

They completely 100% wasted the idea of playing as Dracula by having you do fetch quests for Patrick Stewart for most of the game. They also wasted Alucard.

Definitely get MGS on Vita, they hold up extremely well on the system and they are great games to have portability function for.

Pretty much, yea. If you'll play it anytime soon, I would go ahead and grab it. It is worth the asking price. Also with it not having a physical release in the US, this may be your only real method of acquiring it.

Amazon.uk used to ship this to the US, but they no longer carry it and it's up to 3rd party sellers (none that I tried ship internationally). Good thing I bought mine a while back.

There's not really that much weird Japanese-mess in the game. The Vita version changed the graphics to an anime art-style whereas the original wasn't. If you have a Wii, I'd recommend that version because the Vita version has horrible slowdown about 10 hours into the game when your army gets bigger. Not to mention, when you command your little buggers to die for you, you'll appreciate the bigger screen.

"Soon enough", ha. It was already free on EU PS+ long, long time ago. Some games just don't make it across the pond and this is likely one of them.

Well Amazon has really pissed me off. I bought a $20 PSN card last night to use on the sale. I waited about an hour for the code email. Then I checked my order history, it wasn't there. I had this happen in the past, and they said it was a fraud prevention check, despite me having to log in multiple times AND re-enter my credit card info for verification. So I called to have them fix it like the last time. After a few minutes of identity questions I was told the order was canceled, with no reason why. Then I was transferred to some other dept. It was really late, and I was tired of talking to people in India, so I just hung up. It shouldn't be this hard to buy something as a longtime customer, with the same payment info.

I went to Speedway today and bought a card there today. Screw Amazon.

Lords of Shadow 2 was one of my most anticipated games this year. I ignoredd the early hate and snagged the PC version for 25% off on release thru GMG... and that game broke my heart.

So much potential. Had they executed half of it correctly it would have been a solid 8/10 game. All they got right was a bit of level art (but NOT level design overall) and Carlyle's voice work. They dropped the ball for everything else.

I've still been tempted to double dip and give it a 2nd chance for trophies... but nope. Not this one. Open world sequel to LoS 1 starring playable Dracula should have been made of win, but they disconnected the modern world and castle areas with really shitty load transitions which permeated deep into screwing up the plot and character development. All they had to do was turn the Mirror of Fate castle into full 3d with some new outside areas in a city. For its flaws, MoF did a great job delivering the artistic style of classic Castlevania games. This one featured bland city sewers and factories as the key setpiece zones that happened outside Draculas mind, with the slow dawning that everything in the castle was sorry filler damning the much better artistry because it really didn't mean a damn thing.

I really, really wanted to love LoS2. I tried. It wasn't an abominable failure--as a generic action rpg it's passable--but for all the potential it had...

Damn, as Gordon Ramsay says. Just damn.

every time I buy them off Amazon they dont email me a code, they post the code right after the purchase.

You and me both. I tried multiple times when I was trying to purchase things off PSN when I first got my Vita Slim but was upset that it wouldn't take my card. I called support they told me it was my credit card that was the problem. I called my local bank, they said it was Sony's problem on their end. I just gave up after finding out on the Official Playstation forum that everyone or some were having difficult time adding their credit cards to their PSN accounts. So everyone recommended to go and buy PSN cards instead and I've been doing it ever since. I usually purchase my PSN cards through Best Buy to get those My Best Buy reward points anyway. So win, win situation for me. I guess.

The FAQ seems to indicate that you can have multiple accounts on the same PS TV, but the wording does not specifically address it. It mentions that you can have sub accounts and that you can manage users, but that could mean a lot of things.

The faqs said something about uaing the ds4s touch pad. But that may only be for the home menu or games that bother to implement it.
 
Heads-up: Most of the October PS+ titles now show up as free. I can confirm Dust, Pix the Cat, D&D: Chronicles of Mystara, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Spelunky show up "Free", though Rainbow Moon is still $14.99 for some reason.

EDIT: Never mind, apparently this free cross-save bundle is what you're supposed to get for Rainbow Moon.

Really? Have you bought XBL ones too and got them instantly? I know I had to wait for an email for those. I feel like they have marked my account as suspicious, even though I've never done anything wrong. I have to re-enter my credit card info every time I buy something. It's stupid.

Sucks doesn't it? I thought it was just me. I get points where I buy mine too, which is nice. When you need credit quickly it's a pain in the ass though.

It does not say in the description, but if I were to buy the PS3 or PS4 version of Alien Isolation from the store now since the game is released, is it the Nostromo Edition with the extra DLC or do I have to purchase that separate DLC?

So I bought Rainbow Moon on PS3 a while ago, now that it is free on Vita/PS3 it seems I cannot buy it on Vita due to it being "Unavailable for purchase" since I own the game on PS3 it won't let me "buy" the bundle...

Is there any way around this?

I'd suggest posting a comment about it on the PS Blog update post and let them know, as I'm sure they'll be getting a number of posts about it to get them to remove the limitations on that bundle.

I pre-ordered Drive Club but I'm disappointed my friends can't download the free PS Plus edition. I noticed it wasn't even mentioned on the Playstation Store update....

Did Sony learn from Target and do a bait and switch!?!?
