That doesn't sway me really, I'm not saying it's not a good game; I'm saying it's not my type of game. I agree it's worth a shot and I'll add it to my cart but it will be low on my list of gotta get to. I did better in the tail end of this year by limiting my choices, only getting 1 next gen system (PS4), and focusing in on what I WANT to play. I hope to keep it up in 2013. I'll always have a backlog but better management doesn't hurt.

I can completely understand this. Looking at it, I kind of feel the same way about it. Assuming you can do the alternate account thing on PS4 like the PS3, I will give it a try when I finally get the system to see if the videos do not do it justice. As of right now, I really doubt I am going to be a fan of the game.

People don't understand that not everyone likes what they like. Beyond Two Souls is my GOTY yet lots of people hated it, especially the professional reviewers.

Well that I've actually played it more than a few minutes is the real shocker. Considering that my Steam backlog is four figures and I haven't bought a PC game in over a year.

I found that out the hard way in this thread with Journey which I loved. Lol. I didn't argue but I assumed it was universally loved. I value everyone's opinion in this thread though. Good to hear about something from all sides from gamers.

I just deleted Smart As for Sonic Transformed. Smart As is pretty fun and a really cool brain game. Its also nicer to have it digitally since its a "pick up and play for a little bit here and there" kinda game.

Why did it charge me when I went to download Bioshock?

 
I can't believe there is only 1 free PS4 game in the IGC this month and it is a wilderness survival game. WTF. It has been out a whole 2 months. I expected there to be at least 5 free games a month. I am soooo tired of Sony not supporting the PS4. 

Figured I would post this now before the weekly rant post by you know who gets repeated ad nauseam. How did I do?

Bioshock Infinite, DMC & Brothers were all on my list of games to eventually check out.  Brothers, I was probably going to buy anyway.  January is going to be a solid month for my PS+ account.

I remember there was a vote on what the reverse cover should be, pretty awesome of them to listen to fan feedback. I do understand their decision of having the "dumbed down" cover as default.

If the average is about 5 games a month X 12 months in a year = 60 games. Then each game costs around .83 cents. If you got a PS + sub for $30 more recently they are .50 cents a game. Not free but pretty close. Not sure why I did that, must have missed the original sarcasm. Also if you have a PS why wouldn't you join Plus? I think I'm losing it, sitting at work while everyone is home on vacation like I should be. When the hell is the Vita tv launching stateside?

Don't worry about him, bro. I'm sure he was just being sarcastic, because even an infant knows how great a value Plus is. I'm sorry you have to work around this time of year. Just know that you're not alone. I'm in the healthcare industry, and we don't miss a day of work. People do get sick even at 2 am Christmas Day. Cheers!

I post this almost every month, but returning Smart As... (luckily I hadn't opened it yet), trading in DmC, and selling Infinite made me about $38, $8 more than I paid for an entire year of PS+ on BF.

So its official, I wont need to buy a PS4 or any more games for a long time.   I have about 40 games on my HDD or on disc that I have yet to play and PS Plus keeps adding more. 

I was tempted many times by all the sales on DMC and then I decided to never buy another game until I finish off most of what I have.  Now it looks like I will have to "force" myself to buy a new console before I am ready at some point.

Only PS4? Damn. I saw a Giant Bomb article this morning that mentioned PS3. I don't wanna get Steam version, but I may have too because it does look fantastic. Or maybe I finally save up for that damn Vita I already have tons of games for.

Honestly I had no real interest in it until I got my PS3 & Plus a year ago because I had a 3DS for portable gaming. But now that I'm keeping up with the releases and with all the Plus & Crossbuy shit I would have waiting for me when I got one, I'm really trying to figure out a plan to grab one.

If your refering to the Brothers game, the Sony store shows it on PS3... See a couple posts above.

Honestly, I'd recommend playing PSP first if you haven't already. Don't play the sequel til you've played the original. It's kind of like Spelunky in that regard.

 
I definitely would have been lost playing the Vita if I hadn't had a PSP first.

Anyone know if the Smart As downloadable save is compatible with the retail save?  I'm pretty sure it will be but knowing for sure would be cool.

I 2nd this! I honestly never play my 3DS because the Vita exists. I think it made me hate it. Seriously. I got the new Zelda for it yesterday and I still brought my Vita with me today. If this keeps up into 2014 I'll probably end up selling it. It's a shame because I have a lot of content on it with the ambassador stuff and my carried over Dsi games etc.
