Like Frisky said, there is a season pass, it's just not out yet.

However, it does suck because people who wanted to play the game this week can't if they're planning to get the season pass.

The season pass is going to be $20 on PSN and include all 5 episodes I believe. On PC the season pass is $15 and includes episodes 2-5, with episode 1 being a separate download costing $5 $25.

That's what I just read anyway.

So what's the verdict on Remember Me for 14 bucks? I'd almost pay the extra amount for it to be digital since I'm running out of space and it'll likely bottom out a 10 in the near future. The combat looked terrible but the story and memory sequences looked cool. Anyone here beat it?

Yea, I'd say its worth 14 bucks, I liked it. Its pretty good, not bad at all.

 
I'm renting Remember Me right now and it's pretty enjoyable.  There's some mild Uncharted-like platforming.  The combat isn't terrible, it's just not as good as Arkham City.  The environments are a treat especially if you're into futuristic sci-fi movies.  The memory sequences are really cool, but there aren't that many of them.

 
you can plat it in about 15 hours tho... so idk. i just started yesterday from bestbuy and if i don't finish it by fri i might buy it, but seems pretty quick game. only 4 of those memory remix scenes to, so yeah.

also I just beat The Last of Us last night. pretty awesome. Uncharted 4esque. Great ending. My kids loved it. Ellie is a badass ;) (also in the credits, both Troy Baker and Nolan North, wootwoot)

Devil May Cry collection is kinda my swing title for the promo - if nothing interesting shows up salewise next Monday then I'll skip on it since I probably won't make $50 with or without it. If there's a chance I'll get close, I figure I'll snag it since the ~$10 will come back to me in promo rebate form and I'll pretend that I got it for free.

 
just fyi, but cursed crusade and dmc hd trilogy both trade in for same cost at bestbuy. i know that sounds dumb, but if you are 10-20 short on the promo, you could 'break even' with trading them in at bestbuy(you need 5 total tho, so remember me/halo4 fillers, or whatev) but that way you can get closer to that 50 promo. probly more, but i know i might do that.

according to this thread the season pass is $20 and includes episodes 1-5. if theres not an episode 2-5 option for $14.99 im going to be pretty fucking pissed, since i already bought ep 1. just assumed that was going to be the case, since that was the setup on xbla.

 
The conditions for the spend $50 get $10 back promotion is kinda hazy, or maybe I'm just an idiot, but it sounds like it's just total money deducted from your wallet. So, say I just spends $50 worth of stuff from a credit card on file, would that qualify? Or should I just add a $50 PSN credit to my wallet and keep spending from that?

As long as you're adding money to your PSN wallet and spending that money, it counts. It doesn't matter where the source is since it all just funds the wallet before the purchase is made.

It's always a full season pass on PSN, so you're stuck with paying full price for every episode anyway.

When you do that, it adds the money to your wallet first so it doesn't matter which you do.

Guess im waiting on a PS4. I had a Watch Dogs/PS4 bundle at Amazon preordered. How will that work now? I guess Watch Dogs is getting taken out of that?

Amazon made some tweets about it; your preorder is safe. No Watch Dogs obviously, but you'll still get the system.

 
Played about 90 minutes of Poker Night, it's not too bad.  I think I would enjoy the original more just because of the characters, but unfortunately that one isn't on consoles.  

The freezing is really bad and can be frustrating.  I also got fleeced a couple times (mostly by Claptrap and Ash) but I guess that is just poker.  

 
Having played a bit of Poker Night 2, it is definitely not broken by any stretch of the imagination. There's some stuttering, sure, but that's not too huge of a deal after playing a bunch of the XBLA version. I'm looking forward to putting some time into that to get the Borderlands 2 unlocks and bonus themes. May have to give Okami HD a shot for $6.99. 

I really hope PSN does a Halloween sale this year. I'd love to see Resident Evil 4 HD drop in price. Never had a chance to play it before...though I suppose I could just get it on PS2.

 
I played thru Okami hd and im around 7-8 hrs into it and it feels like its never gonna end. Never could get into it.

 
Was the original Castle of Illusion considered to be hard?  I don't think I would be able to beat this without save states unless I put a lot of time into it.

The reason it's setup like that on XBL is their inane policies on downloadable games & DLC. That was the compromise M$ & Telltale had to come to for Telltale to be allowed back on XBLA (see how BttF, Sam & Max, etc. aren't on XBLA.)

He nails it. Most hardcore DMC fans agree with this. I will say where I start to differ from the hardcore fans is with the new reboot. I enjoyed it and put it up with 4, since 4 has the issue mentioned in the spoiler above.

Okami, as it was back in the ps2, suffers from a complete lack of editing:

Everything is a 2-3 step process:

Upgrades-> smash items to obtain coins->find a merchant to buy feed->feed random animals to obtain praise->Use praise to raise stats.

Advance story->Talk to NPC->NPC sends you on random fetch quest->fetch quest leads to a dungeon->finish dungeon->bring random item back to NPC->now you can advance.

It's tough to deal with this. Then you go half way, and think you're done...but somehow you're not.

I played the demo last night. It was really, really hard to get into. I like platformers but CoI felt slow and clumsy, and for some reason on my TV it had big black bars around the picture. I deleted it after playing for about 20 minutes. Does it actually get better?

 
Just watched a walkthrough of the gameplay for Okami HD...I was pretty interested, but after watching it I don't think I am anymore. Seems like the combat is pretty minimal and what's there is constantly interrupted by the whole brush usage thing. :(
