I'd be happy to win one, but I'm not going to avoid buying a game I want because I might win a newer system to get the game on. It's not that I'm stingy, it's that I'm on disability and thus don't have lots of money to throw around on gaming systems.

 
Should I get Terraria now or wait for a cheap Vita version? I think I'd rather play it on the Vita.

I also think I will get MvC Origins. It comes with two games and zero online trophies, so that's a plus.
 
Awesome, One Piece PW2 finally hits a price I'm willing to spend. Time to cash in some rewards and pick up some cash cards.

Edit: Not so awesome: they sold out of $10 cards again.

It's $3 freaking .75! Maybe there will be a discount on the Vita version if you own it? Even if not, just eat 3 or 4 less bags of pork rinds and you are covered!

Thanks for the update. Nothing for me this week. Maybe I'll go ahead and download Boarderlands 2 for the hell of it though. I absolutely hated the first one with a passion and refused to buy the 2nd one for any price but it's free...

As for Spelunky, I don't like really hard games that make you die all the time so I'll probably never bother with that one either. It's super cheap but still probably not worth it for me (unless it's free). Also, this was just half off last week and this week it's 75% off? Wow, people that bought last week will be pissed.

Well, if it goes free with PS+, then I won't play the "definitive" version (when it goes cheap). I hate to say it but PS+ is actually TOO GOOD. I can't keep up with it and over the last 6 months they've given away at least 1 game a month that I was planning on buying.

 
For those worried about hard drive space, MLB 13: The Show is somewhere around 22 GB with a 10 GB file and 12 GB file to download to be able to play the game.

I think they're pricing it that way to not suggest that one is inferior to the other with this and the last sale or two where they've been the same price.

The free trial doesn't start until you start up the game and finish the sign-up process, so you can start it whenever. I believe the subscription stuff goes through Square's end and not PSN.

If you enjoyed Portal, QC was created by one of the leads from that team and it's core ideas are sort of derived from Portal with a twist to them. The only problem that I had with it is that they built puzzles based on first-person platforming that don't work that well for obvious reasons.

I haven't played NHL in a long time, but everything I've heard about it lately is that it's a really good game but there aren't any big changes between years. So you should be good to go.

I think the Definitive Edition is one of the reasons that the game was never offered for PS+ in North America.

I have found that the secret to successfully purchasing $10 cards through Sony Rewards is to never state your intentions out loud or in a public forum. For some reason this declaration ensures that the cards will be sold out. Most of the time just thinking about the purchase will trigger the same results so try not to do that either.

 
Has the Bioshock Infinite season pass ever been on sale? Trying to decide whether to go ahead and grab it or just wait in hopes of a sale.

I'll pick up D&D (who doesn't love old school Capcom beat-em-ups?), Spelunky (Already own it on 360, but I think I'd rather have it on Vita), and the two MvC games (I actually don't like the Mahvel series much, but I can't say no to a fighter at that price. I'd at least like to give Origins a try, I suppose.).

i bought MvC2 at launch and it reminded me that i dont really like the versus games. i then bought MvC3 at launch, because apparently i dont learn.

You should take that 2/3's of an Amy and save another 1/3 of an Amy and just buy Amy.

AGH, the Sony piss... IT BURNS!!!

At least the $12 or whatever Spelunky was at launch was still money well spent and only feels like too much in comparison to the $3.75. While I haven't even touched FIFA 14 on PS4 yet NHL 14 is pretty tempting at that price since it hasn't really had any discounts outside of BF.

To be fair, that's how I used to be and then I amassed a ridiculous backlog with a lot of mediocre games. Now I've corrected myself.

 
Picking up a 250GB The Last of Us + Batman Origins tomorrow, wondering if there is any good deals on a year of PS+ anywhere. I'm finally going to get in on the PS exclusive games I've missed out on, hurray me.

I was like that too. It's why I said it. I ended up selling off a lot of brand new games that I bought and never played and realized later that I had no desire to even open. Now I stick with stuff I want to play.

I was basically pointing out that the low low price isn't reason enough to buy something.

I was going to say that I could at least entertain myself in MvCO by playing Team Hentai (Sakura and Shuma-Gorath), but Sakura's apparently only in Marvel vs. SF. :(

 
I have Spelunky for the Xbox 360. I actually beat it and it took a while. Although completing it is subjective, lots of thing to do if your into achievements and setting yourself goals. Hard game let me tell you, unless your a pro at 2D platforming, and even then. If you don't care about its unforgiving nature its a blast. Good deal at that price.

 
MvC2 for $3.75. That is insane. and I thought i had a deal 10 years ago (give or take) when i used 20% off coupon stacked with 10% off used at gamestop to get it for like 56, down from $80 used. crazy world. 

 
I just checked out the Spelunky page on the web store and I own 7 of the 8 "you might like if you get this" suggested games. I guess I should get it even when the demo did nothing for me.

I'm way more fired up to play NHL 14. Haven't had a hockey game since 2K4-ish. Glad it's only a 6.7 GB download. I was nervous when I saw the size of The Show.
 
Not to be a naysayer.. but I didn't like Spelunky.  More specific.. I thought Death/Ghost was a bull addition to force you to choose during your exploration.

Can it be turned off in the PS version?  Because I didn't see the ability to do so on PC and it killed my enjoyment.

I ran in to the same thing on the demo. Deleted the demo and decided not to buy it.
 
D&D: Mystaria and Spelunky at $3.75 each is the sweet spot, nice. Too sweet to wait and see if PS+ ever adds it to the IGC. While also being sweet enough that if they ever do go into the IGC, there will be no regrets, right? Right?

I played through the first Borderlands solo and it was fun at times, tedious at others. I think co-op is definitely more entertaining, but at $0 for borderlands 2 with ps plus you can't go wrong even playing alone.

I don't believe the ghost can be "turned off". The ghost turns up if you spend a certain amount of time in a level. I don't want to spoil anything, but the ghost can boost your play through's score/money if you know what to do...

I was also siren in BL1 and used Maya in 2. If you're going for plat (of course you are) you play most of the game with all characters anyway. So you can try them all out. Maya was my favorite. Is that even her name?
