Speaking of which, the Netflix UI on PS3 (and I'm assuming PS4) is unrivaled. Just incredibly sexy and intuitive. I don't know when exactly it changed (maybe October), but it's strangely made watching stuff a lot more enjoyable.

I don't know, maybe it's just cause Radiant Historia is going so slowly, but I've pretty much lost all interest and am going to start playing Deadpool right now.

 
Limbo is pretty great, and I might rebuy/replay for that price.  Getting through with only five deaths again is going to be a pain, though.

One guy on this site thinks it's the worst game he's ever played in his life.  Jodua or Judah or something.  So if you like the games he likes and hate the ones he hates, stay away.

 
I'm still torn on NHL 14.  Great price but do I really want a third sports game to play when I've barely touched NBA 2K lately and not even checked out FIFA.  The little bit of time I spent with it before flipping it was decent but still had the stuff that's really bothered me about recent EA sports games.

So NHL 14 is pretty fun. I started Be A Pro mode today and in my first game I scored 8 goals. I do have the difficulty just about at the bottom, with penalties turned off, but that's what I'm looking for in a hockey game. I don't play hockey games for the realism.

I do wish that so many of those gosh dang trophies weren't online related.

at $15 I dont see how you cant pass it up. if the next gen wants me to go all digital this is how to do it, aggressive discounts on recent releases.

It's more of the will I ever actually get to it with NBA 2K and FIFA and then will I get past those things that annoyed me about it and Madden recently. The price is great so that's not the issue.

 
So is the walking dead season 2 coming out tomorrow or what? I'm confused. I see it everywhere but for PSN, and there's been no solid statement saying it's coming out tomorrow for the PSN.

 
I participated in these psn sales more than I ever expected. That could be to my line of thinking that there was going to be a drought of PS4 games for a couple of months so why not load up on cheap digital games to tide me over? What I did not expect was to fall in love with the PS4. Am I the only who finds it hard to go back to playing the PS3. My plan has failed. At least most of my digital purchases are for my Vita. I not even going to think about what I haven't started on the ps3 and may never ( Remember Me, Fatal Frame 1-3, Siren to name a few plus, plus!).

The only date I've seen listed for The Walking Dead Season Two is on Steam for tomorrow. Not even Telltale PR has sent anything out concerning its launch date, which they'd make sure to do if it was out tomorrow. The reviewers that they're RTing on Twitter say their reviews will be out "soon", so it's an oddly mysterious launch date despite so many people already having the game.

 
Well I guess I can take some comfort in knowing I am not alone...( then he sneaks away to the man cave with a fresh batch of cookies the wife just pulled out the oven and to the disbelief of my sons and  to continues working on AC4)

 
Yeah, it's kind of strange. I heard that it's been confirmed to be out for PC and xbox tomorrow, but there's nothing in terms of PSN. I looked at this week's drop, and it wasn't mentioned on there anywhere. Plus, someone in the comments asked about it, and the rep basically said "ask telltale". I'm starting to think it's not coming out tomorrow. Plus, like you've said, they've always announced it a few days in advance. If it's coming out tomorrow, and there's no announcement whatsoever, then it's seeming not likely. Unless they're trying to make it a "surprise". But I don't see how much of a surprise it would be, considering steam leaked it ages ago...

They haven't even announced a date for XBLA either, as this is their latest word on release dates for all platforms in an email from 12/12:

If someone does buy Limbo here, it would be awesome if they could 100% confirm that it's not cross-buy.  I mean, I'm 99% sure, but there's always that glimmer of hope.

The dev actually looks a tad abrasive and very inactive in social media, so trying to ask them will get me nowhere.

 
I know this might be the wrong thread to ask, but does anyone here have experience backing up their ps3 using an external hard drive? I recently bought a WD my passport and had to return it because I couldn't get it to work even after I formatted it to FAT32. Are there any out there that are relatively cheap and confirmed to work for the ps3?

Yes, I've done it twice now with an older external powered USB 2 drive. But I tried it recently with a WD My Passport (USB 3?) portable ind it wouldn't recognize it

EXACTLY! No matter what I did to it, it WOULD NOT recognize it. I used like 5 different formatting programs and tried like a dozen different things, and it wouldn't work even when it was FAT32. I read that even though the USB cable is compatible with 2.0, it still might not recognize it, or I read that you needed to create folders and put them into the ext. hard drive for the ps3 to recognize it, but I just returned it to best buy so I wouldn't be wasting money for something useless. I found a 500gb one specifically for the ps3 on amazon for $79, but that seems a bit pricey for only 500gb, so I was wondering if there were any other basic ones that actually work for the ps3.

 
Does anyone know if I purchase AC4 season pass will I be able to download the Freedom Cry dlc at midnight or do I have to wait til tomorrow afternoon?

 
Hitman: Blood Money has the greatest amount of quality missions, but Contracts has my favorite mission of the series, the Hotel. Those two games are the high point.

Deadpool was pretty awesome, especially his smashy smashy double hammers attack. 

Eldritch/Sultan, you guys have NFS Rivals? I need to win a race/bust a racer on my friend's list. hit me up asap and let's do this. #Trophies

I love the new multiplayer on this and the cops/racers on the map. I keep trolling/griefing the racers and taking them down with esf/shock bumper etc. Fun stuff.

In my experience, sports platinums are usually very hard. Like half are basic "Get 49 points with XXXX" or "score a 98 yard TD with XXXX" but then there are those 5ish that are just "how the hell?"

Down to 19 GBs on my 750 GB hard drive.  The end is near...

Oh, and crunchewy and a few others can email Derek Yu about a commission on the $3.75 I just spent on Spelunky. Only reason I'm giving it another chance is the ridiculous amount of praise it gets in this thread.  

Proud of myself for passing on MvC:O and MvC2.  I don't really like fighting games and I'll never play them.  No need to buy them just because they're disappearing.

Yeah, I stopped playing it while Knack was my focus but I think I'm going to start again now that I'm finished with it.
