No free games this week. The PSM update gets its own posts each week since it's technically separate from the PS Store.

I intend on playing everything on my PS+ account. Not counting free games, stuff that I've already played a decent amount of, and only counting multi-platform titles once I'm at 113 PSN games and 1325.5 hours. So much shame.

 
Man, I'd have to get a $20 PSN card even though the only thing I want is Guacamelee. Do you guys think that game is worth it? I'm sure something else will go on sale I'll be interested in although I don't know if I'm renewing PS+ at this point.

I wish One Piece had been the same week, dammit.

I think I got it for free and I thought "Glad I didn't pay for this."

It's not horrible. Just a boring platformer with 1000 rooms or something and all these fetch quests. God forbid you accidentally explore somewhere and forget how to get back.

 
Do you guys think Guacamelee will end up on the instant game collection within a year?  I'm interested in the game but will not get to it for awhile.

I hope they fix the PS4 Pinball Arcade sound quality by the time I get a PS4! They've got at least a year, so there's chance! ;) Seriously, though, I hope when they roll out the engine improvements to the PS3/Vita that it doesn't come with worse sound. :( Having said that, if it does bring improved physics and/or squashes lousy bugs like the ball going right through the flipper every once in a while, it will be a worthwhile tradeoff.

Guacamelee is dirt cheap. Just buy it and enjoy it and don't fret about future free-ness.

I took advantage of the fund $50 from paypal get $10 deal (or did it take advantage of me???) So I'm ready to buy Terraria Vita, but… now I'm not sure about one thing. Did it have cross-play? I know it has cross-save, but can you do local coop PS3+Vita, like you can with Spelunky? Or is it online only? I guess we could play it online to get that effect, but I wonder how well that will work. Or does it even work at all? Can you play online with PS3 and Vita, or are they separate things?

Also now I have to spend more money quick on PS3 and Vita, before somebody hacks PSN and steals my monies!

Is the store not loading entirely right (on the web) for others, or is it just here? Pictures aren't loading. For example I want to see what this "BIT.TRIP Runner2 - Spelunky Guy Avatar" is, but it won't load the picture. Also why the hell is that listed as BIT.TRIP Runner2"???

Yeah it looks all messed up and is extra sluggish for some reason.

I bought Alien Breed Trilogy during the Halloween sale, but can't download the cross buy vita title because it seems to be cross buy with the non-bundled version of alien breed. LAME

The free version of Flow that was given out forever ago never actually added the game to anyone's download history, so the Vita/PS4 version won't show as free for you. I don't think you'll even be able to download it again if you delete it off your PS3 hard drive.

It's been on sale 3 times in the last 2 months, all for the same prices. Same with all the other Team17 crap that I've passed on multiple times already.

 
F it. Bought Terraria Vita. LOVE that it is tiny and what with all that paypal'd money up there all of a sudden! Going to do some digging tonight. Well, after I play the Daily Challenge and try out Tomb Raider.

I bought Alien Breed Trilogy during the Halloween sale, but can't download the cross buy vita title because it seems to be cross buy with the non-bundled version of alien breed. LAME

The Alien Breed Trilogy is a reboot of the series. The remake of the original is the one with cross-buy and as you mention it is not included in the trilogy package.

Guacamelee is on sale fairly often, though this is the first time at such a steep discount. At 3.75 even if it were added to IGC eventually, you are not out that much. There are $10 codes, even amazon has $10 codes

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is certainly more scaled down than Crack in Time, It is kinda halfway between a full fledged game and one of those standalone DLCs like Infamous: Festival of Blood and Far Cry: Blood Dragon. Great pick-up for $15-20 (especially if you don't have Quest for Booty), but the original $40 asking price was definitely pushing it.

Finally bought Marvel Pinball for next weeks PS4 Zen Pinball 2 release and I also picked up Doctor Strange Table.

Go a lot of importing to do later today. Hopefully it doesn't go on sale next week.

I also grabbed Pinball Arcade on disc and they did a great job bringing it over to the PS4. The disc version includes all 22 tables from Season One. The graphics are really nice at 1080P and the new lighting feature is an excellent edition. Playing the tables in the night, darkness setting is really great and reminds me of playing some of these tables late at night at the local arcade when I was a kid.

If you plan on getting this on PSN or on disc for PS4 I highly recommend it.

I'm looking forward to playing through Into the Nexus one day, but just so you know, it was never priced at $40- it came out originally for $29.99.

Okay thanks. What site? Does it use ps login info or do you have to plug games in individually?

Some games have the time played on the save file. I think the God of War games and Uncharted do at least.

Also, in case anyone missed it in Frisky's weekly digest, Hitomi is now a permanent free character for Dead or Alive 5: Core Fighters but only available for a limited time. Characters usually cost $3.99 each, so this is a nice surprise.

 
Just a plug for GoW: Ascension.  I'm still playing this game online.  I think it doesn't get a fair shake for it's MP mode.  Team Favor is a great idea that combines the objective based elements of previous GoW campaigns but includes competitively online play to show off combos and parrying (all in co-op mode).  I've played every GoW since and although the campaign obviously falls short of expectations, the MP mode advances beyond the button mashing rep it gets from its critics.  The community is still active and for $10 it's a great deal since the online pass is $10 alone.  For the ultra competitive you can go play 1 vs. 1 too. 

I am annoyed at the microtransactions as you need to pay to use certain weapons/armors but in respect to competitive balance, the paid DLC doesn't give you an edge over the available options anyway.  They should have expanded with more maps instead of character customization and there are still some glitches that come up once in awhile but I'm nitpicking from an active player that plays this a ton.  For $10 it's a great bargain so long as you're a Plus member.

I recommend it. It's certainly not as strong as thatgamecompany's later games (Flower, Journey), but I had fun with it. At the very least, it is very different from a typical game released today and I found it quite relaxing. It was the second game I played on my launch PS3 after Resistance: Fall of Man! :)
