Nice. Now beat The Walking Dead so we can be platinum twins, lol. Also, you do realize we can take native screenshots from the vita? Simultaneously press the PS and start buttons. Only cumbersome part is hosting, but I just email it to myself. Probably the only cool feature about Miiverse.
Clearly I didn't or I wouldn't have taken a picture of the trophy thing with my phone.

regarding the "add 12 months get 3 months free", does that work for multiple cards?  I have 2 unredeemed cards to use, would be awesome to get an extra 6 months if possible.

I think you can. I just looked it up, and in January, there was a blog about it and it pretty much says you can.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/01/28/playstation-plus-sign-up-for-a-1-year-membership-get-3-months-free/

NOTE: This is from January, 2013. It's an old link, nothing new.

And here's ultimate confirmation.

Hey Morgan, Can I buy MULTIPLE 1 year subscriptions and get an additional 3 months for each year I purchase?

+ Morgan Haro on January 28th, 2013 at 9:38 am said:

If that’s something you want to do, you can certainly do it. So if you buy 2 years, you’ll get 3+3 months free. As long as you do it anytime from now, until 3/4.

I uploaded my Tearaway save file that I had when I had the cartridge via Gamefly and now I cant download it to the digital version I just bought via the flash sale.  Am I doing something wrong?

edit: i'm a bonehead..got it sorted out via the content manager app.

Finally wrapped up Beyond.
(and by finally, I mean could the ending drag on any longer?)  Well, the final third was absolutely the weakest third in the game IMO.  I really could have done without that car chase scene in The Mission chapter.  The ending felt a little bit too bogged down in action (before that I thought the game did a decent job of pacing action with storytelling) and that weird snow base in whatever random country that was felt out of place with the rest of the game.  I really didn't need Jodie to save the world, her conquering personal challenges would have been more thane enough for me.

Still hoping for a flash sale of the Folklore DLC.

Sony, please make all the old stuff really cheap.  We'll buy anything if its cheap enough.

I doubt it, trophy hunting just isn't for me even if they help fill the void that WoW created in my psyche. Tearaway was worth platting to me because of how much I loved the game and wanted it to be the plat on my profile.
The fact you just beat the game itself will motivate me to platinum this game. I am deeply touched.

So it turns out that Sony is dumb. Terraria Vita/PS3. You can't send invites from Vita to people on PS3 and vice versa. Well, you can send them, but they never arrive. Apparently this is a limitation of PSN that Sony created. They don't allow cross-platform invites. So the only way to play PS3+Vita is to start the game Open, not Invite Only. Then of course anyone can join it. Well, maybe - I think "Open" is actually limited to your (entire) friends list. I wouldn't mind this so much if they had local LAN play and ad-hoc. I'm trying to play with my kids, me on Vita, them on PS3. I don't especially want everyone on my friends list to be able to join the game with my kids. I hope they add LAN and ad-hoc play to Terraria and I hope Sony changes this cross-platform invite limitation.

Just googled this and apparently it is. I might bite at that price. Anyone have opinions on the game? Seems like one of those artsy fartsy games which I sometimes like and sometimes don't.

Tempted by Diablo 3, but I'll wait out a retail drop since I have Last of Us incoming in a few days. Wish I would have waited for Mickey. It's an enjoyable enough game, but I could have waited and not missed the pre-order bonuses. Definity worth $3.75 though.

Proteus is the only major decision to make. Seems short and sweet, and I kinda dig these artsy games. But I feel it'll get lower. Or IGC'd.

Proteus should not be considered a "game", even less so than something like Journey or Flow. It is a nature safari on a pixel island, where you walk around and simply take in the sights and sounds. I found it very relaxing and evocative, but it is something that will not appeal to the majority that play it. Without knowing you personally and the sort of games you like I couldn't say for sure if you would find it appealing, but just know that when I mean there is no gameplay, there is no gameplay.

Tyler would hate it, this is a fact.

I posted a mini review on Steam if you want a little more info: http://steamcommunity.com/id/mrninjasquirrel/recommended/219680?snr=1_5_9__402

I'm pretty sure Tearaway is only on Vita.

Jumping from R&C: Into the Nexus back to Quest for Booty is a big jarring as the control schemes are different. I was also surprised that after the initial "have all the guns and then get depowered" shtick you don't get a gun back till about hallway through the 3 hour campaign. Quest for Booty is definitely more focused on platforming and puzzles than Into the Nexus. I was also surprised that there were no trophies I guess Insomniac didn't implement trophies until Crack in Time. There also is no form of new game+ and it is entirely linear so once you play through it once there isn't much reason to play through it again unless you want to play it on hard and hunt down all the hidden weapon mods.

All in all, I would say the two-pack of Into the Nexus and Quest for Booty is definitely worth $15, unless you have never played a Ratchet and Clank game, in which case a sale on the HD collection of PS2 games or Crack in Time are a better value.

This is kind of related. Eirik Suhrke's OSTs are pay what you want right now. He scored Spelunky, Super Crate Box, Ridiculous Fishing and others. I paid for Spelunky OST and opted for free on the other two. Lots of download options: MP3, AAC, FLAC, etc.

http://phlogiston.bandcamp.com

The Spelunky OST is great! Going to be making some ring tones out of some of these. Plus I just listened to all 62 tracks, and now I"m listening again on random play… addict….

Thanks. $5.94 saved.

Yeah, I might wait for free on PS+ for Proteus. I might like it, but I'm not sure. If it was $3.75 I'd just have bought it, though.

I'm a little new to PSN. How often are PS1 classics discounted? I'm mostly interested in the Final Fantasy's and Xenogears.
There is usually an annual Final Fantasy Sale around February or March

Not digging Nights into Dreams so far, it almost feels like the camera is zoomed in too much which makes it difficult to navigate while in kid form or see objects to fly through at the top and bottom of the screen. I also hate that they give you zero inclination about how to beat the bosses, and if you fail you have to play the entire level over again.

bah crap for sale

was hoping for some good vita stuff since I'm 99% sure i"m getting one for Christmas
This is a pretty stupid comment. I count 4 Vita games on sale this week, of which most are different genres and most are at least decent, if not quite well regarded. Plus free Sonic Racing.

No doubt on Castle of Illusion, super happy I waited for that.  Ducktales could have probably been cheaper, don't matter to me though I bought it at launch during that promo, which turned out to be a really good decision for me.

Can someone give a full recap for Dragon Fantasy Book 2?  Have they patched out some of the issues that plagued it at launch?  I know IGN thrashed it, but it was reviewed by by far the worst editor over there.  Other reviews haven't been great though either.  Let's just say I'd give Book 1 a 7.5 or 8/10, so I'm assuming I'll like Book 2 as well right?

I wish Dragon Fantasy II was 3.75 instead. I feel I can wait longer for it to drop to that range. 50% for Plus discount just doesn't do it for me.

I assume by the pricing that the series is no longer cross-buy? I don't really ever use that feature, but I like the concept enough that I would definitely consider paying the $7.50 now if they supported it.

It's still crossbuy. They just write it like that on the PS Blog because who knows why....

Playdead are the only d-bags so far who have removed cross-buy after launch, with Limbo.

I'm with you, $3.75 would have been a no brainer, but I think I can do $7.50 to support the dev. I liked his first game and he seems like a cool guy.

According to the store page it is cross-buy (at least looking at the PS3 listing for DF2).

Purchasing this content entitles you to both the PS3™ system and PS Vita system versions!

Crashes, Bugs & Glitches...http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/dragon-fantasy-book-ii/210128-crashes-bugs-glitches.html

Patch 1.02 incominghttp://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/dragon-fantasy-book-ii/212037-patch-1-02-incoming.html

So patch 1.02 is out and fixes a lot of things but not everything based on what I read on PS3t and GameFAQs. Developer was also actively posting on the GameFAQ boards about what issues people were having so they could make the fixes. Definitely a cool dude, and it sounds like the game is at least pretty playable at this point. I think most of the crashing issues were resolved. I think I'll probably pick this up...maybe I should take advantage of the $50 Paypal deal since I think today is the last day.

Rpg, you've played the game, right? Did you like it?

That game has random encounters (walk along and BOOM, battle out of the blue) or not? If it has those random encounters I will not play it past the 3rd or 4th such random encounter. Ha ha.

I'll grab Castle of Illusion, I want Duck Tales too but think I'll hold out for cheaper. Proteus seems interesting but I'll probably pass. I grabbed Tearaway despite having just bought the physical version (prefer digital, glad I didn't open it yet!) and R&C into the Nexus since I didn't have Quest for Booty either. Despite owning a PS4 it looks like the PS3 is going to be around for a long long time in my house.

Oh and I was tempted on the Proteus price but if a CAG like NinjaSquirrel is telling me I'd hate it, I think I better pass.  And after reading his Steam review it definitely sounds like I'll hate it.

Awesome, then yea, I think I am in the same boat here. I will prob snag it and Castle of Illusion. I am also considering Epic Mickey 2, since its only $10.
