It’s wild that both Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo are both PS5 console exclusive. It doesn’t even say timed. Sony must have paid Bethesda some serious $$$.

Has anyone here played Skyrim VR? It was included in the PVSR bundle I bought a year ago or whenever it was but I never tried it out because I was already 25 hours into Skyrim on my One X and I read the graphics and load times were bad. I put it up for sale on Offer Up but I was wondering if it was worth installing and trying out before I sell it.

I don’t like being in VR for too long before taking a break, so the huge games like Skyrim never appealed to me. What I played of it though was good, but not good enough to stop me from selling it

It's fun, clunky and bad looking, but if you make an effort (and put good mindset on it) it's a fun experience, I've got around 20 hours so far but having playing it on PC/PS3 over 200 hours makes it feel old.

  • Apex Legends is getting a new collection event called Lost Treasures that starts 6/23 with a new mode for just shotguns and sniper rifles that removes armor and respawn beacons. It's coming to Steam this fall along with Cross Play between all platforms. It's also coming to Switch.
  • Need for Speed Heat will be getting Cross Play with all platforms. More will also get Cross Play.
  • Hazelight from the A Way Out team is out in 2021.
  • Lost in Random from Zoinks (Flipping Death, Zombie Vikings) is out in 2021.
  • Rocket Arena is a multiplayer game where your only weapon is a rocket launcher coming 7/14. It has Cross Play.

Extremely insensitive of Sony to allow a game about a world destroying virus to be released during a pandemic. They probably should have considered delaying it til things got a little better. But money always wins over morals and ethics I guess. Nice to see that Xbox and PC don't allow this kind of stuff to happen on their platforms.

So, when Sony gave away Nathan Drake Collection and Journey as part of their Play At Home Initiative, they managed to let PS+ members claim them for their "permanent" libraries (i.e. they will still have licenses for the games even after their PS+ subscription lapses). It doesn't look like they did the same for Injustice. Not really surprised, but a little disappointed.

Buddy at Sony hooked me up with a digital code for TLOU2.  Now that means I need to play TLOUR first, which I started to last night.  For whatever reason, it seems like I am enjoying it more for the 4th time I have tried to play it, then all of the other times combined.  Might have to deal with the fact that Joel is a dad to a girl, and I am the same lol.  Who the hell knows.

You can claim it if you create a new PSN account.

Just download it under the new account and it will be available to play under your main one, with no PS Plus restrictions.

You can export the soundtrack as MP3s or whatever it offers to a thumb drive to listen to on your PC, phone, or whatever. It's a great bonus.

I just got it a little while ago and will be giving it a try tonight. I'm hoping they at least have a storyline where Ellie goes on a murderous rampage because the Cheesecake Factory is closed or being forced to wear a mask in the fungus areas. I mean seriously, where is her freedoms?

So, I just got God of War from the buy 2 get 1 free Target sale. Does anybody have any tips that I should know before playing the game. All the trailers that I have seen makes it seem like a very pretty third person walking simulator with some combat thrown in. Does it have any RPG elements to it, or QTEs like the older games?

Last of Us 2 - Trash story that relies on subverting expectations, the laziest style of storytelling. The gameplay and graphics though are superb!! Gorgeous game with brutal combat
 
Loving The Last of Us Part 2 so far, though I'm only about two hours in so far. Very nice evolution of what the first game did with a much better stealth system to it and an easier way to tell when enemies can see you, though there are a variety of options to make that stuff easier or harder. They do a good job of evolving beyond the general corridor design of The Last of Us to be more spread out and more open to explore, which lets you breathe a bit more and enjoy your surroundings.

The wide range of accessibility options is amazing and genuinely makes me happy to be able to have more fine control over things that help me out (hearing issues mainly) without compromising the game experience itself. I hope that stuff becomes more of a norm for every company out there that wants to make their games more accessible to those with various types of issues. It even has a nice option when starting a new save to turn off the pre-order bonuses if you want to start at zero, which should be an option for any of these remastered games that come with all of the DLC that gives you high level weapons, vehicles, etc that ruins the original progression balance that game had at launch.

Couldn't agree more, I'm about 5 hours in and the game is very good so far. It has been very hard for me to put it down.
