I did the 3 year Game Pass deal and its hard for PS Now to compare if they don't include 1st party titles on launch but it still seems like a good deal. My PS4 Pro isn't my main console so it looks like at least some of the 1st party titles get added with time and some others come to PS+ at some point so this combinations should work for me. Hopefully it keeps getting better over time.

At first I thought I was screwed since I don’t have PS+ but there’s actually a single player story mode which is basically a tutorial and as far as I’ve read, online multiplayer is coming later but there is local multiplayer and up to four player co-op. There’s a lot of content to check out and that’s what attracted me to this game. So I realize Dreams is similar to Roblox in the creation of games aspect but right now doesn’t have online, while Roblox is free but doesn’t have local co-op. I’m pretty happy with the purchase.

I bought the digital after the disc version was making the disc drive spin up super loudly all they way through the first area/scorpion boss.It never stopped spinning. It is a night and day difference with digital. The console is silent. And if you have the newer, quieter PS4 Pro, the fan is not even really noticeable. I also have a SSD I my PS4 Pro, for what it is worth.

This is odd because the ENTIRE game is downloaded on to the hard drive. It shouldn’t have to spin up outside of disc verification.

Sony is in such a weird limbo right now. Don't know when any of their remaining titles for the PS4 are coming out, not sure if I believe them that the PS5 is coming out this year. Don't know of a single game that may even be on the PS5 yet. We don't even know the extent of backwards compatibility really... No idea what it looks like.

I'm envious of the position that xbox fans are in.

Did you start playing immediately after it was done installing from the data disc? Good to know. I’ll be sure to give larger games a lot longer to install next time. Still deciding on what version and format to go with for cyberpunk 2077. The extra physical stuff cdprojekt red always includes makes me want to go physical for that release... X1X or PS4 Pro is also a factor. I prefer Sony... but everything I’m hearing about PS5 is leaving me underwhelmed. /rant

1. have had PS+ for several years. I have never purchased Steep (one of the free PS+ games this month)
2. Sony announced you could download PS Now games instead of streaming them. I subscribed a few months ago when this happened.
3. Steep was on PS Now before being free on PS+. So I downloaded it to my system to try when I subscribed to PS Now.
4. Steep came to PS+ today. I figured I would claim it because I know I will more than likely always have PS+ and I’m still torn on keeping my PS Now subscription.
5. I find I cannot claim/buy Steep through PS+ because I have already done so through PS Now a few months back. The only option on the store is to download it. The problem here is the game/license is tied to PS Now, not PS+ which is what I would rather do.
6. I investigate further and find that I can’t purchase any games I have downloaded through PS Now which I showed in the picture on the OP. For instance, I downloaded Gravity Rush Remastered through PS Now, and since I have done that, I have lost access to purchasing it.

If I understand it right, because Sony implemented it this way, you can no longer buy games or claim PS+ games if you have downloaded them to your system from the PS Now service because they store thinks you have purchased it already and own it. https://i.imgur.com/275yKoB.jpg

If you aren't in a rush to play it then pass on 7 remake as obviously it will be dirt cheap before you know it given that it's ff and they always over print their games, release different versions and such. I probably wouldn't be surprised if it was 20 or less by black friday.

The Fighterz Edition comes with the Fighterz Pass 1. The Ultimate Edition comes with an additional Music pack and Commentator pack along with Fighterz Pass 1. No extra characters on top of that. There is also the Fighterz Pass 2 and Fighterz Pass 3, and there’s no bundle with those.

I never watched the anime, so I didn’t bother with the music and commentator packs. It’s a fantastic fighting game. I highly recommend it, and probably even more so if you like the Dragon Ball brand.

I'm the same, never really watched or paid attention to the anime, but it is a fantastic fighter. It's the fighter that Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite should have been, even if you aren't familiar with the characters you can definitely find ones you like even in the base game.

It is a great fighter indeed. Rented it a while back and it was awesome. I just saw a video on youtube and only 2-3 songs are worth getting. The rest are intros and endings.

I can see the appeal in PS Now, especially since you can just download the games now, but it's not for me. My playing time isn't super abundant these days and I tend to stick to a single game until I finish it so I doubt I would get my money's worth. It's a great way to get access to a large quantity of games but most of what I would be interested in I've either already played or purchased.
