The deals are in the OP, so the only things left to do back here is ask questions and talk about games and such on the PlayStation consoles. I don't know what the issue is.

Torchlight 2 is a very good Diablo clone, but the main issue is that it's an old game with not much added to the port to make it less obvious that it was made shortly before Diablo III came out and set the standard for what to expect from the genre. It works well on a controller, but I recall some minor issues with controls and some other stuff. Nothing really major, but it's a very basic port.

DQ11S for Switch was rebuilt with the added content, similar to Persona 5 Royal. Dragon Quest will have the same or better frame rate and resolution as the original PS4 version.

I would like to see actual discussion about the psn weekly deals so I can make educated decisions before making purchases on said deals.

Discussing the content and quality of a game is a helpful way to do exactly this. Especially in a day when reviews are near-worthless after being buried in a mountain of politics and red tape.

That said, discussions on a couple recent titles have gotten out of hand. But the real problem was the alt accounts / trolls driving such nonsense. Just put those users on ignore and don't feed them further.

There is. Its https://psprices.com/region-us/index. Just check it every Wednesday and Saturday. They have a section for all recent drops. You can sort them in order of discount amounts and set reminders. They even do non-PSN prices so you don't have to check multiple threads.

I understand this. I do like that I don't feel overpowered 20 hours into the game. I think it would work better if the combat were more satisfying. If everything stayed the same, but deaths, both my own and my enemy's, occurred within half as many hits, I think I'd be happier.

Either way, I'd still probably recommend it to fans of the series. Though if you're torn, it sounds like Origins is considered the better title. I don't know if I would suggest getting the versions currently on sale. I just don't feel like I'm ever going to get around to the DLC to justify paying the premium over the previous sale prices for the standalone.

Far Cry is one of the few franchises where I've played every one of them. You can't lose with either but I personally loved FC5. A religious cult, oddball characters and the Montana wilderness. It just hit all the right notes for me. I enjoyed the sequel FC New Dawn as well, which gives a bit more closure.

I was so excited to try out Demon’s Tilt on GamePass until I realized it was only one table and little variation. It’s worth $5 at most.

Which far cry is better, 4 or 5? I’ve only played and beat 3, blood dragon and primal. Blood dragon was my favorite by far. Replaying 3 classic on PS4 and I wanna pick one more up and play it after I platinum 3.

5 had its issues but the setting and satire on American culture gave it a leg up, since so many of these games take place in exotic or foreign locations. 5 also has more variety in vehicles, especially planes, which were a lot of fun.

I prefer 5 over 4. 4 just felt like a worse rehash of 3 (which was very good).

I started 4 recently because I wanted something familiar which didn't require a lot of thought, and this is my feeling exactly - a rehash of 3. If you can't get enough Far Cry, it's plenty good, but I'd pick 5 between the two.

Yeah, the GameSpot and Push Square articles both show the message on the PS4 console notifications. Guess I'll have to wait and hope I get it.

It's nice to see a glimmer of old Sony coming out with this move though.

In my opinion, 3 > Primal > 4 > New Dawn > 5

Nice wish I got one, it sucks not getting ps+ extra discounts at like the good days. Its at least they can do is give us subers discount codes.

Those kind of promotions haven't been around for a long time yeah, as well as Sony completely destroying their Sony Rewards program into becoming mostly useless last year. Just another step on their way towards seemingly more arrogance for next gen, in my view.

Super completely random, I've been a ps+ memeber close to when it 1st released. I didnt instantly reup after expire everytime but still. I did get some of the other discount codes and stuff. Wonder if I should wait a few days to see if I do get one.
