Sky FC, SC, and 3rd were localized by xseed. You can and should buy them on steam. The first two also had psp releases in NA.

Zero and Azure were never officially localized. Thankfully, a committed group of fans called the geofront team released a full translation of zero last year. They have a similar work for Azure expected in the next 1-2 months.

There's also still hope (in my head at least?) that falcom/nisa localizes a ps4 version of Zero & Azure Kai, a re-release done in japan more recently.

azure and zero no. 1 was released on the psp and then pc, 2 was released digitally on the psp and then pc, 3 was pc only and localized significantly later.

The pc releases are also enhanced ports with more modern bells and whistles for a number of the games in the series thus far. cold steel 1 and 2 got their pc ports and those added in additional voice work and fast forward and such. the ps4 versions are the same as the pc ones iirc.

Cold steel is a fine entry point though as its where most players started in the series as of late (myself included) though from what I understand characters and stuff from the other 5 games get frequently mentioned and cameo as the games go on in cold steel 3 and 4.

I picked up Sky 1 during the latest Steam sale and just started playing it this evening, I know I have a lot of time in the go to get through the whole series. I hope I enjoy it as much as the rest of you have.

I couldn’t tell you that but there are two levels of completion completing the whole game in its entirely or completing the game based on the trophy list I am talking about the latter.

I bought Reload when it was $15 so you got lucky missing it last time! I did manage to grab V3 when it was under $10 at least.

My physical copy of V3 sold for $150 while Another Episode and Reload sold for around $90 each, last year.

Ended up picking up Tokyo Xanadu Ex+. Would like to get Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Maxiboost On but $45 is still too rich for my blood.

And will keep an eye out for another sale on the first Trials of Cold Steel.

^Very good deal, for very good games. It's a murder mystery series; a class of students are all permanently locked in a building, and the only way to escape is to kill another student without getting caught (at which point everyone else is killed). It's a unique blend of mystery, courtroom, visual novel, and some dating sim elements, with a charming characters that make the dwindling cast more impacting.

I didn’t know what the deluxe dlc was since it’s not listed. Thought maybe one was the golden outfits pack. I didn’t think a deluxe edition usually includes a season pass. Maybe it should say “includes season pass” or something. I found it confusing.

There are only two pieces of DLC, which are the two from the Season Pass.

The whole some features might be unavailable thing is just something they throw on there in case a game has random problems. I've played a lot of DMC4 on my PS5 and it seems perfect, haven't ran into any weird issues or anything.

It's great on Xbox. Not sure of the nature of your question, but I assume they are similar quality on either console since I don't think it's a demanding game processing-wise. I would imagine if you are a fan of Civ on PC, the controller might be a rough transition. I don't have a PC background, so that doesn't matter to me.

Thanks, I played Civ 2 on a PC back in the day, but I don't want to spend money buying a souped up PC so I figure this is a good middle ground. I'm so used to playing on a controller now I pretty much cant play anything on PC but adventure games and match-3 games.

News radio was a great show btw, probably my favorite sitcom. I can't believe the biggest star out of that show ended up being Joe Rogan, never saw that coming.

The entire Civilization series (except maybe the original?) is available on Steam, so you can easily find an entry that will run on pretty nearly anything that can run some version of Windows, and I can’t even wrap my head around trying to play a Civ game with a gamepad. You do you, but I feel like you’ll have a better time running Civ 4 or 5 on a PC than the latest entry on a console. Except Switch, maybe? Is it on Switch? I don’t even know.

Personally, I prefer playing on a TV/couch/controller so much more than a computer/mouse for any game. Also, I like earning achievements/trophies for some stupid reason, so I feel like a console has an extra advantage there. The controls work pretty well but do take a little time to get used to. The biggest thing I failed to grasp early on for this game is that clicking in the right stick re-centers your active tile you're working on. Without that feature (or without remembering that feature), the controls seem terrible. Lastly, yes, Civ 6 is on switch. Not sure of how well it runs.

Also, it's great to see another Newsradio fan. I'm still surprised by Joe Rogan's career. Fun fact, did you know that Ray Romano was originally cast in Rogan's role for Newsradio but he got fired?

 
Late to the game, but...

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy  159 hours (84 hours multiplayer)--best of the UC series IMO, and I loved all of them.

Death Stranding   96 Hours

Horizon: Zero Dawn 80 Hours

271 Trophies

Also, Concrete Genie is great for me and my better half to take turns in sections to clear--beautiful game. We're artists so we have a fondness for the design element.
