The lack of anything being offered after next week tells me that they have to have something up their sleeves besides Spring Fever deals.

The way they're handling MotorStorm RC's pay once get both versions is weird, as they're not actually offering them both for the same price. You can get the Vita version for free separate from the PS3 version that will cost $7.50 or $9.99 depending on whether you're a PS+ member or not. It's not really what was announced at first, so it'll be interesting to see if MotorStorm RC for the Vita will be free for just a limited time and require two purchases to get both versions after that.

Mass Effect 3 will be available at midnight for those that pre-ordered it or want to get the digital version. The rest of the update will happen tomorrow like usual.

Yeah it is weird how they are doing RC. They must be planning on making you pay for both later, otherwise why give one version away free but make you par for the other when they could just say "purchase on either console and get both".

Anyone know if trophies from Sly digital = Sly on disk? I'm gonna pick up the trilogy disk at some point, so don't want to start playing this free release if it means I'll have to redo them for the disk version.

sly trophies are all split up, sly1/2/3/bonus move games
so they shouldnt stack
stacking would actually be a plus for more trophies, but it doesnt work like that on the psn retail games i have like red faction g / infamous / etc. disk/psn have the same trophy lists. i can't speak for certainty on sly, but if you could stack them i would have to dl it again ;) easy free plat. i wish psn+ gave stuff i don't already own. but then again how the hell would they know what i have and dont have, lol. thats why those day 1 freebies like stacking/simpsons/hydro etc are fantastic cuz they dont screw over anyone.

also kz3 trophies are finally syncing with servers. also guerrilla games is doing another x2 xp weekend cuz psn outage on march 17th/18th weekend. i wont get my promotion bonus x 2 (x4 xp) but still good stuff

I can almost guarantee that you will not get the PS3 version of Motorstorm RC for free if you download the free Vita version. This is only a temporary promotion. The buy one, get both is something that will go on forever.

this is looking to be a costly month for psn lol. i really hope gow origins ends up on sale but even if it doesnt theres at least 3 games ive wanted that im sure will and journey dropping too.
As awesome as PS+ was in February, its almost equally as unawesome for March. Maybe we'll get some sweet discounts for Spring Fever, but judging by last year im not holding my breath.
Seconded. :whistle2:#

That's not happening for the NA versions of the games according to the developer in a previous post on the PS Blog:

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012...3-on-march-6th/comment-page-1/#comment-692000
The ‘buy one, get one free’ applies for only for the European territories – we will provide more details closer to launch regarding our distribution plans, but rest assured that North American consumers will get both for $9.99.
He was alluding to this sponsored offer and says the normal offer that they originally announced is only happening in Europe. They also hint at that being a Europe-only offer again here.

People without a Vita that are hoping to get a free Vita game should at least be prepared in case this is only available on the Vita's PS Store with the way the article ends:
Visit the PlayStation Store on PS Vita tomorrow afternoon (Pacific time) to download your free game. And after you’ve taken the RC iQ for a spin in the virtual MotorStorm world, you can always check out this new vehicle in the “real world” at a Scion dealer near you. Enjoy!

I agree with you 100% on this. It seems when there is a sale I already have the game from a previous PS+ sale. I also love the day 1 freebies since stacking was made available. I have most of the stuff that we just voted on but I just keep positive on the next good sale. I can just imagine what your download list looks like.
Thank you 1-year Plus sub for $15.
Was that the Target one from last year, or some different one?
Thank you 1-year Plus sub for $15.
WOOP! $14.39 for a year! They are paying us to play! :D

...Now that I know I don't have to add them to my hard drive right away, I need to start going through some of these full game (60 minute) trials already on my 160GB.

Cool thanks. Don't really care about trophies/points, but I was actually planning on platinuming the Sly games (pretty sure they'd be my first plats, usually don't bother), so didn't want to do re-work. Thanks again!

Blah, now they are giving parts of the compilation discs as freebies? Of course I already have the Sly Collection (and the only one I've played is the first - d'oh!). I also just finished Jak 1 and 3 recently - I guess we can expect those in a few months too now... I would have much prefered a discount on Journey than any of the "free" games this month. Oh well, can't win 'em all - but I'm with Velo in thinking Day 1 freebies (Stacking/Simpsons) are by far the best part of PS+, rare though they are...

Good thing I didn't buy the individual pack for UMvC3 costumes. I looked at the updated DLC marketplace for the X360 (they update DLC every Tuesday morning) and saw they have all 40ish costumes except for Jill, Shuma-Gorath, and Magneto for 1600 points/$19.99 so I'm hoping that the PSN store has that today. That'll save me over $20 since I can use them on both my PS3 and Vita versions.

Here's the players choice winners:

Best PSN Exclusive: inFAMOUS Festival of Blood (PS3)
Best PSN Game: Resident Evil 4 (PS3)

Best Mini Game: Angry Birds (PS3/PSP)
Best PSP Game: DISSIDIA 012 [duodecim] FINAL FANTASY (PSP)
PlayStation Community Award – Best Indie: LIMBO (PS3)

fucking Chrono Trigger?!? I already own Chrono Trigger on DS and the FF chronicles collection. Why couldn't it have been either of the other 2. Damn.

Man I'm gonna drop some $ on PSN.

Finally going to bite on inFamous FOB (for $5 I don't care that it's so short) and RE4. Possibly going to grab Limbo too.

How is SF 3 for someone who only casually plays fighting games? I bought MK Arcade Kollection and got my ass kicked both online and by the computer.
Fucking Chrono Trigger?!?
My thoughts exactly. People go apeshit over this game for some reason and can't be bothered to vote for something they don't own.

Also incredibly disappointed to see Dungeon Defenders didn't make in despite being in three different categories.

Got SF3. Got Angry Birds.

Lol @ me downloading the free(PS+) Dungeon Defenders addon thinking it would win.

Looks like 1 game for me. Dungeon Hunter.

Thanks for the update o0achilles0o! :)

dungeon defenders was up for 3 categories and didn't win any? wow
i already own it, but still! and lots of these prices are the same ps+ prices from along time ago aren't they? i guess that's good for people that missed them but still...

I might pick up AC Brotherhood and God of War Origins Collection (most likely will pick the latter up) and I know I'm definitely picking up Infamous: FoB. That will add up to about $40, if I decide to pick up all three.
How do you know how much they will be?

Also how are people getting 1 year of PS+ for 15 bucks?

Sorry for being a noob. :/
1st question: It was posted what the regular sale and PS+ sale prices would be in a previous update.

2nd question: Back in December (?), Target had a misprinted ad that showed the 1 year PS+ cards for the price of the 3 month. Many places honored the mistake, so people walked out with 1 year for $15.

Wow, this sale officially sucks with these prices if you're not PS+. That figures. Those PSP prices suck completely, sale or not. Same thing with Chrono Trigger.

Dissapointed at the results...then again, I would get Dissidia

and I REALLY WANTED Xenogears

I'll say this again: Damn kids

Only game i might think about is RE4. i played that on the Wii and loved it. Might not love it as much with harder controls. I think one of the reasons i loved it was how easy it was to aim the wiimote to shoot people.

Thanks for the info, Frisky! Going to finally pick up RE4, Festival of Blood, and Chrono Trigger.

Has it been mentioned if PSone games can be played on the Vita without going through Remote Play?

I will only get limbo. I like god of war but I will just wait for the disc version to be $20.

I remember getting angry birds ps3 for a dollar back then. It was sh*t, blurry, not widescreen or hd version just a straight up mobile phone port. My question is, is that version on sale the updated, with more levels, and better graphics? Or the one I already got?
