Good deals coming up tomorrow. Sadly I already own all the ones on there that interest me. Great price on mgs hd and persona 4 golden. Suppose I could sell my physical mgs hd for vita and ps3. Amazon has them selling used for 21 ps3 28 vita so sell both buy digital pocket $25 or so. Sony needs to make a 128gb card for vita. 32 has been full forever and even if I sprung another $100 for a 64 that would also be full from all Ive had to delete to make room on 32. UGH love my vita and all but the fucking proprietary shit is really annoying. Nintendo got it right with using a good old sd card.

I love the bonfire warping right from the start. I feel they did a good job on the 2nd installment. I first thought it was a smaller game since some areas seemed to go quick but I then realized the game is massive. There're some views that are beautiful to look at and then seeing places in distance you've visited is fantastic. Majula is home sweet home.
 
I finally bought arkham asylum, I own arkham city (and its free on plus), but I just never seemed to find a DEAL, deal on it. I justified it to myself since I'm playing Mass Effect 1-3 and loving it, Rocksteady 3 batman games, next on my list. I heard Origin is skippable and rocksteady is pretty much ignoring it as cannon?

This, and the DS version contains extra content, including the
Dalton / Fall of Guardia
scenes that explain what happens in the 20 years between Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. It also contains Japanese text support and a map system, if I remember correctly.

Already own most of the Vita games that are on sale. Tempted to get Hot Shots Golf on the PS3 just for the local multiplayer (the Vita version really should have had pass and play multiplayer support). Still want the DLC for it to go on sale (didn't get in on the discount when it first came out.)

As good as the sale is, I'm a bit surprised that I'm not looking to pick up anything. Going to hold out for a sub $10 digital or $15 physical copy of Ys. Continue on the backlog.

And I agree that the reason Hot Shots Golf isn't on sale for the Vita is because it's coming to PS+. Great game and will be a worthwhile freebie.

I don't really like the new 'ds ct/cc canon', because it makes it seem like Magus is reborn as Guile, just without his memories but still wanting to find Schala. Magus is one of my all time favorite characters, black wind howls, and Guile just isn't that awesome at all... Also I loved to play as fungi dude also in cc ;)  I am almost done platting spec ops and witch/100 knight, should I go on to borderlands 2 goty dlc, or dark souls 2...

"Grandia..."...guess I need to check this out since I've seen it mentioned in a few reviews. What difficulty do you recommend playing on? I typically play on normal, but I've read knocking it up to hard gives the battles more depth. And I haven't seen much mention of co-op - is it like a Galaxy/Puppeteer type deal?

Sure, I'm a little bummed the motherhship didn't love it, but still very excited to play.

i didn't like it as much. it didn't feel epic at all. boring bosses. etc. i could go on and on but i am on my vita trying to teach myfat ass fingers how to not smsh the keypad. i still got a plat in ds2 but i am really thiking of keeping the ce stuff and trading

in the game.

 
played some botzone on mercs while i was waiting at the hospital for a few hours today(wanted to play something "cool" since people were around, lol). it might be enough to make me dive into the actual multiplayer sometime. the bots are pretty good too, though i find they like to hover around a few areas in each map.

that child of light video makes me really want it. even though i don't really like the art style. i'd buy it if it wasn't for the big sale tomorrow.

Hard is what veterans of the genre should start on since Normal is balanced for those either want to just follow the story. I'll be starting on Hard when I start the PS4 version tomorrow.

Co-op is assymetrical like Super Mario Galaxy with the second player controlling Igniculus the firefly, who helps slow down enemies in battle, replenish health, and help with puzzles and such. It's all the stuff that you can do yourself with the right stick.

 
After this last clan war I am totally done with Call of Duty until the next dlc on May 8th I think. We got 2nd place, but this diamond division is just wearing me out. I got home from work at 11ish and had to get on and play for 2 hours and we didn't even get 1st place. I only have 2 more prestiges til max prestige and still need another d.d. 1st place win for the last warcry gold armor camo. I need to get back on the trophy boat cuz I'm not gonna be in top 10 much longer if I keep spending all my gaming time playing cod mp. I went 38/7 recently tho with 3 battle hinds, so that's all good. Got the Far Superior patch for 2 in a round, and i went and got 3. When it rains it pours. I really need to take that disc out tho and hide it somewhere. I have will power issues and I like to shoot when I get home ;) peace all

Still cant remember the name of the stock MVEEE (might not been that one)

I know i got one for 13 cents sold at 88 cents

i know i got another for 1.3 and sold at 12 cents

A mod deleted it, then unlocked the one that they locked earlier. Not sure why, probably the code begging or smart-assery. Or they just wanted to fuck with people. It had me puzzled for a second.

Alright. Don't think I've ever started a game off on hard, but everyone I've asked (including you, now) says it's the way to go. Actually the main reason people are criticizing the Polygon review (which I think is unfair). Anyway, will just use vita if I do any co-op since it's nothing serious.

My fingers are too fat to move that fast. And for some reason when I would try to shoot left then right, I would shoot left and down about 98.64% of the time. I could never consistently get it to do two shots in a row, both in the direction I wanted.
 
woo, busy day today! glad to finally get a look at tomorrow's sale and sift through the thread. any thoughts on the chrono trigger ps1 version vs the ds version? which one is better?
 
also, FINALLY finished octodad. I think it goes without saying that it is hands down the best game with less than three hours of content released this month for under $20.

So the consensus seems to be that the PS1 version of Chrono Trigger is best. I'll make sure to grab it when it goes in sale. Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
 
I might focus on Vita games instead of PS3 ones... These sales are making me buy PS3 games and I really need to focus on my PS4 >_

Yeah I was quoted twice in there but didn't see what was said before it was deleted, so it just lead to an error page. I don't remember if I said something overly smart-assery.
