I threw this in mine. 2.5 inch drive. The stock drives are 5400rpm. You can go to a 7200 or an ssd but you'll only get a slight bump in speed since the PS3 is running on a Sata 1 connection. 1TB should work as well if you want even more capacity. I'm not sure if anyone is using 1.5TB or more.

I'm stopping that shit at the source. Plus as a long time Nintendo fan I don't need to hear why "xyz" is so great. I made the decision not to buy a Wii U for a reason. It's not my bag. Plain and simple. Everyone takes harsh posts about a brand personally for some reason. Plus a rebuttal to an opinion is stupid. You are allowed to have yours and I can have mine. It's just a personal gripe of mine when people use "it's just my opinion" as a sort of shield to avoid conflict. I'm not saying I enjoy the posts of people trying to drastically change your opinion like so often happens, but if you're going to post something publicly saying stuff like IMO makes it seem like you just want to talk to yourself. I don't know, there's no reason to argue over it, I just dislike when people try to cut off a potential discussion because they don't want to hear something that contradicts their line of thinking (not referring to you exclusively here, just forums in general).

Blitzball is the worst. Did you win the Luca Stadium game? I'm thinking of retrying it. We go to overtime, they crowd my guy with three defenders, pick off the ball, goes like a meter from the goal and just owns the goalkeeper.

That's the match where you need to stick Tidus on defense, then pass back and forth between defenders all first half. Tidus becomes level 3, gets Jecht Shot, becomes unstoppable. Wakka might get a goal, too.

This exactly (if that's first match where win or lose the story progresses). I couldn't find any other way to do it. There's really no big benefit from winning though, is there?

The Rorona one is a remake not a port(so will require more localization work) and it could still be localized. It only came out last November in Japan.

Those sales were all in January if I'm not mistaken. I don't consider April/May (3 or 4 months) all that soon when talking about PS+. If I bought Muramasa today and it was added to PS+ in September or October I wouldn't consider that too soon.

Thank you. I played good defense, got some shots where I had about 6/7/8 SH and it was still saved by the goalkeeper. Frustrating.

 
They deleted that post which had good deals in the OP (even though it was a repost) but they still haven't taken down the thread that says the Nintendo Online store is closed!??!?!   WOW.  The moderation here never fails to impress me.

I guess I shouldn't complain though.  Over-moderation here would suck even worse than under-moderation.

With Muramasa being on the EU PS+ list for May, doesn't it make sense for it to show up for us sooner rather than later (e.g., sometime during the summer)?

Moderators only go to a thread when posts are being reported. People were likely reporting a ton of posts in that thread because of hurt feelings.

Let's make a list of all the other games we're still waiting for from last summer. If someone wants it they may as well buy it if they're going to play with it and understand they may be getting slapped with a big limp one later.

You never know, it took us a long time to get Arkham City and some others after EU got them. (and some we still haven't)

He felt I was being publicly nasty to him and some folks in this thread. There was plenty of nastiness to go around in that thread.

I'm sorry for my part in it and I'll go back to lurking the first two posts of the PSN thread that Frisky maintains if he allows me to.

 
Anyone noticed that it's mid day of release and no reviews have popped up for Amazing Spider-man 2?  I was expecting a 7/10 average, but no reviews is a pretty bad sign.

Seems possible, but there's also lots of games that EU has gotten in the last 6 months that we haven't.

My theory is that PS+ NA knew that EU was giving it away but that NA wasn't able to give it away at this time. So instead they decided to give it the best discount they can to help satiate the NA fans who were not happy that we weren't getting it.

Like I said, maybe I'm giving the PS+ team way too much credit, and this sale and EU giving it away at the same time is just a coincidence. I don't think it will be on PS+ until September at the earliest. We'll see in a few months from now if I'm right.

That being said, I bought the game on Black Friday from Amazon, played it and enjoyed it, and sold it for more than I paid, so I really couldn't give a crap either way. I'll take it if it ever goes free but I won't pay to own it again.
