Damn I thought they were supposed to wait until 12 to end the Flash sale. The GTA5 cloud save servers went down while I was playing and I couldn't log out to get into the store until like a half hour ago and the sale was already over.

I don't know what you're saying with this? Arkham Origins did say PS3/Vita. But Blackgate was a different game. Furthermore, Blackgate HD is an update version of Blackgate. You're talking about three different games here, that's why none of them share trophy lists.

The reason for shares trophy lists are a pretty obvious tie to the game being cross save. Dragon Fantasy II, FFX...I think most cross save games share trophy lists. A few from the beginning of the Vita's life don't...Sly 4, PSASBR. I think Sony's trophy team probably realized that people were basically inflating trophies with cross save games and put a stop to it.

This also basically means the guy at IGN who said trophies were auto popping is an idiot and didn't realize it wasn't giving him new trophies.

Not saying no games should be like that, only pointing out that Spelunky is kind of like pinball in that sense. You always start over and have only your skill, knowledge (and some luck) to help you get farther or a higher score.

Mildly snarky maybe, No I'd seen it earlier on the "what's new" tile on the PS3 and figured "Okay, I'll go check it after I finish playing." and then couldn't log out to check it. and I don't use the PC version of the store or the Android App because I've had both of them fail miserably in the process of buying things. (lock ups, incorrectly listed content, etc...)

K so you're saying that BL2 isn't going to have separate trophy lists based on the pic I posted? If it doesn't I'm not going to bother with it.

It looks like the IGN guy is the only source I can find for separate trophy lists, so maybe he did make a mistake. Though I didn't think any trophies popped when you cross-saved a game with a shared trophy list?

You got a Pending order already? That sucks. They're no big deal if it's just a random game off your shelf. But it's a relatively new game and you have to hold it as pending for a week then that sucks because you never know when it's going to get a good sale at Best Buy or whatever and the market will be flooded with copies.

Crystal Defenders is listed under PSP in the OP, not the PS3, so that's the version on sale. Tactics Ogre is normally $19.99, so it's half off. No errors there.

PST.org is saying the lists are shared as well. For the trophies popping, if he had brought over his save, and loaded it BEFORE syncing the trophies on the Vita, technically it recognizes him as having earned zero trophies, so it would pop any from the save. If had synced first, and then loaded the save, nothing would have popped.

For example, playing FFX on Vita yesterday I earned the trophy for doing 99999 damage. I uploaded my save to the cloud and continued on PS3 this morning. I did not sync my trophies, and so I "re-earned" the 99999 damage trophy again today.

Oh wow weird. Yeah that's probably exactly what happened. So if BL2 does have a shared trophy list, like it looks like it will, that will be fuck ing lame.

Happens a lot between shared PSN accounts if one user hasn't synced progress. IGN guy is a moron.

 
It goes back to the debate that if you have to pay twice for the game, it should have two lists. Someone was selling a code for the game in the PSN code thread for $20 and I considered it. I'm glad I held off. Now there is literally no reason for anyone to buy BL2 on Vita. Just get the superior PS3 version. For cheaper, too.

Haha, I meant Sony made mistakes. They have the PS3 version of CD on the store listed at full price but still being in the sale.

I went back and checked the OP and saw TO was indeed discounted. I didn't want to stealth edit that out so I just left it in.

I think I can count on you to have fixed any errors with the OP a little sooner than the end of the week. ;)

Yup. I'll just stick with my free PS+ version for now and buy Tiny Tina if it ever goes on sale.

I just grabbed the GOTY when I found it super cheap, installed the DLC and sold it for $2 profit.

Tina is the one DLC worth full price TBH. Not trying to change your mind on buying them, just saying. The rest are good, but forgettable. I was pretty disappointed when they said Tina wasn't on the Vita, hope that comes out eventually. Also, this may be frowned upon, but whatever...you can get a used GOTY copy at Gamestop (the DLC is on disc), install it, and take the game back, lol.

I don't have a leveled up character on PS3. I don't think I'd want to play the DLC with a weak character so no need for me to buy the DLC anytime soon. I beat BL2 and the Torgue DLC on 360, I thought the DLC was pretty lame.

 
I'm really surprised how bored I am with Diablo III.  I've never been a huge dungeon crawler fan but I've made it through a few of the more bland ones.  I thought Diablo would step it up a notch, but it's just another boring dungeon crawler to me.  Made it through Act 1 but I think I'm done with it.

Right on. Torgue was the worst imo. But only cause the dude was so annoying. And some technical flaws they never bothered to fix. I'm big on BL though. You can really tell when you play Tiny Tina, that Gearbox outsourced the other DLC, whereas with Tina they were directly responsible.

just broke down and picked up army corps of hell and the starwars zen pinball pack even though i only ever play pinball arcade.

i was going to buy crystal defenders psp too... but... i don't see it on vita.  any help?  don't see it under c, don't see it under f (final fantasy) and don't get any search results.

the compatible list says it's directly downloadable on the vita store... um... anyone?

EDIT -- the webstore now lists it as psp only.  i have to assume that's something new? damn.  anyone know if it's transferable?   the cag list still has it as direct download.

My desire for this game just went from 'meh, okay, fine' to 'holy crap need it' now that i can't have it.  damn you sony.  i'm still pissed i didn't get cladun 2 during the free-for-all weekend.

caved in and picked up chrono trigger for some reason.. not sure why. The PS1 version sucks. I guess if i ever wanted to play it on PSP or something

you can buy crystal defenders psp on a ps3 and then transfer it to the vita. that's what i did.
