I know that we can't have winning deals every week, but this is one hell of an inauspicious start to the one-year Plus membership that I signed up for last week.

i believe factory reset just resets the vita and account. formatting your card is a different operation. i think. it certainly would explain your situation.

Sony doesn't ban over glitches like this. If you use the store to do what the store allows, they just fix the glitch and move on instead of banning Tyler and making a lifetime enemy.

So it looks like the full game trials are no longer on the store, but I bet if you got them in your download history from earlier today before they were removed you can probably get the game now for free.  I'm pretty sure others are reporting that you can.

 
So that glitch. It's not really over. I wasn't able to "buy" the Vita version on the web, but low and behold I go to the store on the Vita and it says Download, baby! Never even purchased it!

Ah, but not enough space, even after deleting that dumb Virtues Last Reward (I did upload my save to the cloud in case I have second thoughts).

Edit: ah, see I'm late, but perhaps interesting that I didn't "buy" it at all? Did they decide to just make it free for all? I did "purchase" the PS3 trials, though.

If you were able to get the trials looks like you're golden.

They're solution was to pull the trials off of the store. So if you got the trials before they were pulled you'll be able to add the Vita collection to your download history for free, and probably the PS3 collection after that.

 
Hmmm, I got the trials "bought" via the webstore, but I'm on my Vita and it shows full price for the Vita game, but I haven't tried adding it to my cart yet.

Edit - Just tried adding it to cart for purchase and it wants to charge me.  Oh well.

I would totally buy that dinobot and insecticon pack if they were cheaper, but  $6 each and no trophies is still too rich for my blood. I sure loved those cgi beastwars back in the day tho. This is regarding the War for Cybertron transformer dlc.

I got the trials earlier and they didn't show up in my download list on the Vita. Later I was on the main store page on the Vita and clicked on the GOW banner and it took me to the page and showed that the download was free. Grabbed it and it works. Thanks OP!

I was over at Walmart just now and they had Borderlands 2 for PS Vita in the case.  No price though.  I wonder if I could have gotten someone to sell it to me?

I am going to wait for a price drop though.  Already beat it and all the DLC on XBox 360.

I know you're not much of a Playstation guy, but even if you rarely play it I doubt you would regret $50/year for PS+.

I still need to buy a PS3, actually (I picked a 360 for the multiplatform title edge and some of the exclusives I enjoyed before the exclusives pretty much died out). I've only played a PS3 at other people's places. But a glitch I can get in on for when I inevitably own the system? Sign me up! :mrgreen:

Honestly, I've considered PS+ before, I just think it's a little too late in the game for me to hop on now without owning the system (now that it's required for MP, I expect the free games to get more and more lackluster). Now if it worked like GwG where you owned it regardless of being subbed, I'd have already bought in, no questions asked.

Elop's tenure is already stated as temporary. If you're referring to him selling off the Xbox Division, it isn't happening. If you're referring to his dismantling of Nokia, it was obvious that was done so Microsoft could swoop in and scoop it up on the cheap. Not to say the sale of Xbox will never happen, but it won't be while Elop's in charge.

No worries. I'd only be getting it for the exclusives and whatever I can grab from +. Was planning on getting one this Black Friday, expecting some of the best sales on them yet, maybe even deals that include a Vita. :mrgreen:

Of course that's only if Smash isn't the game of the century, forcing me to buy a Wii U.

Games download damn fast on my Vita. I'm not sure about VS PS3 though. I will be downloading some stuff tonight so I'll try to compare them.

Looks like Cliff Diving and Table Soccer as well. These are sure to get fixed, better act fast!

GoW was a pretty sweet glitch though, especially to not have had the PS3 versions or the Vita versions, and now have both.

Guess what? I checked on my Vita again and now I can download GoW Collection for free! It's almost downloaded now. The GoW Collection on PS3 also appears to be free now!

I'M SO HAPPY GUYS

I almost guarantee the Virtual Boy version is the way to go.

 
Only played a few minutes of GoW on Vita but it preformed pretty well.  Didn't look all that great but not terrible either.  They didn't bother to upscale the cutscenes which isn't surprising since there are a lot of HD remakes that don't bother to touch those up.

I think I still have the install data for Uncharted: Golden Abyss on my PS3 because I transferred it over from when I had a 4gb memory card. I don't think I can delete it without hooking up the vita, but I cbf to do that so there's 3gb of wasted ps3 storage.

 
Anyone replaying Last of Us on grounded difficulty? That was strange. weird text mishap. but yeah you have to beat it two more times to get two more trophies. I really loved super hard difficulty trophy, so I might have to bite on that eventually. 

Haha, those pillar maps would have been great in the past, but I already got them all except Lost Nedica / Martial Snowfield  which I need to unlock when I get home. This is a perfect game of tips needed from other players before you play. Like being able to consume enemies when they have low hp to get back gigacals, and that scout trotchka ability to search through the fog without expending energy. Pass it forward?...

I didn't even know that site had trophy guides, I just went there periodically to update my psn card. I usually just go to that ps3t.org euro trophy site ;) I keep waiting for truetrophies.com to set up some gaming/boost sessions for games like gotham city imposters that are about to end still, but nothing. I may have to actually set something up if I dont get it done in time...

also that damn witch and hundred knight game. cmon. it has this stupid glitch that just randomly shuts off the game and quits to the xmb. only happened about 4 times in 65 hours, but still. of course it happens after an hour of grinding and no saving. it is like dieing on an oldschool final fantasy game and realizing you havnt saved in forever. oh wait, this game does that also and only lets you save between chapters or at base, argh oldschool jrpg rage! positive side is I am getting all the omega weapons and finally feeling like ultimate badass mode, lol

tmi and this is prob just for profstotch, but yeah, terraterra desert. In credit card commercials, it drives me nuts that they run the credit card right-side up, which is really upside down since the magnet strip is at the top of the credit card. 

And to keep this on topic, SMT Persona 3 is my favorite of the Persona games.
