so this morning I went to download Sly on my PS3.  I had 22 GB at the time free and it told me I didnt have enough space on the system.  Sly is only 16 GB or so.  Dafuq, Sony?

 
So what's the deal with Valiant Hearts? Anyone heard if this was going to be good or not? All the coverage I've seen has harped on about it having an emotional story. How does it play?
 
So I've always despised beer, as the taste of hops makes me want to vomit. Any recommendations for beer that doesn't taste a lot like beer? I don't care if it's girlie as I have no shame.

If you like whiskey, there's a beer called Kentucky bourbon ale or something like that. Tastes like whiskey and is delicious. Or if you like water, there's always Bud light.

I love Rush, but Floyd is definitely better.

It took me a while to find a beer I could stomach, starting out. Once I did and was able to force myself to get used to it, I was able to move on to others pretty easily. For me it was Purple Haze. I can't drink it anymore, though. It's too damn sweet. Even when I started I could only do a couple at a time. Give that or another fruity beer a try.

I actually never bothered to play Machinarium, but thanks for the video. Actual gameplay looks pretty shallow and it might border on the annoying if the puzzles get too adventure gamey (think The Cave). But.. the premise is pretty interesting and Ubiart is awesome. Will wait for a review or two, but chances are I'll pick it up.

I was actually rooting against Portugal and it was simply stupid how the second goal against Portugal came to be.

Also, you know Germany is going to rig the game with USA, get a draw and boot out Portugal. Colluding just like you tried with Bums.

Check out all the hard ciders. Like Hardcore or Ace or Crispen or Strongbow or Angry Orchard. My wife is gluten free (medical, not hipster reasons) so she drinks mostly the hard ciders and those are her favorites. We even boil our brats in them instead of beer now so she doesn't get sick, and it works just as well.

I've watched a lot of these World Cup games, but it didn't occur to me until today that there are no commercials during each half. That's fucking amazing.

Also, I'll admit I'm enjoying watching these games and was super bummed at that result. Tyler, who do we root for if the US gets knocked out?

I quite like the Soul's archeological take on the story. It's fun to poke through the remains of a mostly dead world and try to draw conclusions based on the fragments to fill in the gaps of information, and debate people with competing theories.

Even if you don't want to get into speculating there are other interesting things that are pretty concrete that you can figure out such as [customspoiler="Demon's Soul Spoiler"]The Old One (the big bad of the game) and the God that the clerics worship are one in the same as the power to do miracles flows from it as well.[/customspoiler]

USA should be grateful that it was a tie and not a loss. They faced Christiano Ronaldo, hes gonna be a legend. You guys should bow down to Ronaldo, your lucky that your even playing on the same field with him.

 
After getting 100% in Stranger's Wrath and Papo & Yo I think I might be done with PSNow.

Is Dead Island:Riptide worth my time?  I reserved a free rental before they updated just because it seemed like one of the better games on there but after looking at it more I'm thinking I might just pass.  It's not even attractive trophy wise; looks like a lot of grinding. 

 I played a little bit of the first one and enjoyed it somewhat.  Anyone that has played/platted it have any opinions?  Velo is the only one of you that I know has platted it off the top of my head.

 
The US matches have indeed been exciting, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get into any other matches. So they'd better advance, Tyler!!

Also, having to watch these on (dog slow) 360 is bullshit.

Riptide wasn't bad at all, I don't remember any grinding much. I played as Logan, weapon x, wolverine, and it was awesome. Regenerating health and claws and berserker beast mode. I never played the first dead island tho. The boat segments were dumb and so were the 2-3 'defense' segments, but it was a pretty good/easy plat. If you need any help I can always jump in, altho I said that to rpg about fuse like 2 weeks ago and still havnt been able to do those co op missions yet. I heard alot of hate on it, and it being an expansion more than a sequel, but I don't remember it being grindy/difficult at all. Even the 'extra' mini bosses weren't hard at all if you are prepared. Peace guys. 

I also heard that the girl is alot better this game around, with her shooting. but I think if I played the other characters at all it was just for moments to get their respective trophies. I was basically snickty snickty the whole time.

Last night of CoD clan war. Another 1st place in diamond division probly, wootwoot.

k so i just checked truetrophies.com/riptide. I went ham on that game and platted within a week, so it can't be that hard. It looks like the last few I had were beating all missions co op (i had to do that last cuz I ran through solo my first playthrough) and the other co op trophy of marking 100 enemies for buddies to kill. Also the max level 70 was my last trophy also. It seems there are lots of collectibles, but I really don't remember a guide. They are all numbered and carry through new game +/co op playthrough, so if you are missing any just look those up. The game has a point of no return tho, some mission with tides in it, so don't do that final mission or else you can't go back.  so yup. I remember I hated the boats/water so much in that game tho, lol.

I have no insight in to a few of them (payday 2, bioshock, ibb and obb) but there's virtually no losers in there as far as I'm concerned. if you play remember me you get the privlege of participating in the bi-monthly conversation regarding its terribleness/awesomeness. and you get bonus points from me if you pick binary domain out of all of those -and- stick with it until the end.

although as frisky sort of pointed out going to another tps after uncharted might make it feel a little stale from the get go, especially since it takes an hour to get use to the jankiness of the animation/controls.

when did soccer get so fuck ing popular? I feel like I missed a meeting or something.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of these. Some of the others on your list I haven't played yet. I will probably play Remember Me next.

If you want to start clearing out backlog titles as fast as you can, Tomb Raider is somewhat short (~12 hours I think) and easy. Good game-- nothing innovative or new, but still a good experience overall.

XCom if you have more time to spend. That's a really good game.
