Anyway, line up is OK. Even for indie games they are pretty niche -- a stealth rogue like (The Swindle), brutal boss battler (Titan Souls), depressing survival (TWOM: Little Ones). All three of those are good games but not for everyone and all very difficult in their own way. Titan Souls is my fave of the three.

Guess Azkend is there for the casual peeps.

You can also look at the developer/publisher history with PS+ and that'll give a pretty good indication. Like getting Grim Fandango Remastered last January and this January Day of the Tentacle Remastered.

I don't know any of the games for January but I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed we aren't getting any games with a bit more mainstream appeal. I figured with all the PS4 systems they just sold for Christmas, they'd want to make a real push to sell these new customers on PS+ subscriptions. I can't imagine anything here really moves the needle for your everyday gamer. I wasn't expecting Uncharted 4, but maybe...The Last of Us? Maybe that's just wishful thinking.

It's not that difficult. There are only so many games that will be offered on Playstation Plus, Games With Gold, etc. and it's always the same publishers who participate. You can be sure that Double Fine games will always be there. This War of Mine was recently "free" on Twitch Prime. Titan Souls was another obvious choice because it was in a $1 Humble Bundle tier not that long ago, and the game's one-hit death mechanic ensures that the game won't appeal to many people, so it would have been inexpensive to secure for PS+.

give the game a try first, see if you like the pacing and difficulty. i didn't really enjoy it much even after committing 5 hrs and decided to move onto something else. i wouldn't recommend jumping on the season pass w/o trying the game, could be a waste of money.

VR is going to end up like every other thing sony has released in the past and fail/stop being supported within a year. I mean since it came out there is basically been nothing about it, and was basically absolutely zero shown for it at PSX so even if the numbers are decent/good on it, why the hell would u support it in the first place is beyond me, however, the fact that more people are not crying foul about it makes me very suprised. But this is the exact reason I wouldnt touch PSVR with a ten foot pole because sony never supports add ons for their systems ever, so why should or would PSVR be any different.

As for the everyone discussing PS+, I get that most of you are not true gamers and think that unless the game is a AAA game its not worth your time, and you couldnt be more wrong. Give Indies more of a chance because fact is, AAA games are fine for what they are, you know what ur getting from them, but Indies allows developers to take chances, try new things, actually innovate. People that say PS+ is mostly garbage these days because they rarely give away AAA games, give indies a chance, its a free game you didnt have to pay for to play, and who knows, they may change your mind, or you may discover a game or genre that you would have never thought you would like. So stop complaining and insted enjoy something that is different then the typical AAA shooter bs every once in a while.

Had 100% sale through because they didnt make that many units. They sold through all the first run production of the Move and Eye as well, doesnt mean shit. The targeted sales numbers have already been downgraded by various research groups so again just because something sells out does mean it is a success or will lead to success. With no games on the horizon you can go ahead and justify your purchase of it all you want but as PSVR currently stands its not a success. VIVE and RIFT are not either. VR is a cool gimmick for about 10 minutes but fact is until games can be produced that are longer then 5 minute tech demos, VR will likely be another failed gimmick just like with 3D Tvs.

I grabbed the Don't Starve Mega Pack. In all honesty, I hated Don't Starve the first time around, but I'm willing to give it another chance mainly because I'm hooked on Crashlands which is a similar game on Android, and because I can't pass up a deal. I have a sickness which is an addiction to procedurally generated games.

See I liked Crashlands for everything it did that wasn't like the Don't Starve games. Easier, streamlined crafting, unlimited inventory, clearer objectives, fast travel...

The goals of the game are the same but I can't stand the tedium of the crafting, inventory management, etc. To me that is just painful. Stripping all that boring crap out to get to what is actually fun about a game is what Crashlands did.

Is it arcadey? Absolutely. Does that make me shallow? Sure, I'll admit it.

But it got me to play something different in a genre I cannot normally stand. Don't think I will ever get into the Don't Starve games.

And I like hard games. Don't Starve just bores me to tears. Just my opinion as I know a lot of other people love it and it is well regarded.

FWIW, Crashlands got some hours out of me but I even lost interest in it after a while.

I dont see how im attacking you and not providing facts. Many websites have reported Sony was expecting their sales forcast for PSVR at 2.5million units and various websites have reported the number didnt even hit 1 million units...so again justify your purchase all you want. Still doesnt mean PSVR is a success. Also there are a whole 5 PSVR games currently scheduled for 2017 with most of them having no release dates. Resident Evil. Farpoint. Arkark. Fantastic Contraption and Ace Combat 7 all with TBA 2017 aside from RE and seeing as how none of them were shown at PSX they are all faroff. So again you say im attaking you. Yet im laying facts on you and you just dont like it. Dont want to admit it. Or again your just trying to justify your 600 dollar purchase. Which is cool by all means. But dont say the PSVR is a success when so far its far from it.
