Final Boss Cutscene... I beat the boss, the cutscene started where I began to finish him off.... and it skipped right to credits....

Played some Pinball FX2 VR, which works well for PSVR. It's largely a VR hub environment to play some of the same tables that were in the original Zen Pinball 2 release along with some of the early DLC tables as a part of the S1 Pack. The tables themselves play as well as they did before and you can have a more natural view of the pinball table than the preset views that the originals offered, which is great. I'll have a video of it tomorrow for those that want to see it in action.

Question if you have a 3D TV: Interested to know how playing a table in VR compares to 3D? I know the biggest diff will prob be the static viewpoints in 3D.

I don't have a 3DTV, so I can compare them. If I had to guess, VR should be much better at 3D since you're actually in a 3D environment with an actual 3D Pinball table that gives you better presence and freedom over the camera in a way that pure 3D in TVs probably can't compete.

Guess that Reddit screenshot was accurate for the PS4 games.

VVVVVV is a fantastic game if you like Metroidvania type games with a hard as nails platforming.

I have VVVVVV, Invisible, Inc. and Tiny Troopers on iOS -- although the latter is probably better being premium. Never thought I'd say that I have 3 PS+ games on mobile.

Also already have Hyper Void and Stories so that just leaves Color Guardians as the only game I don't have. Not a hot month for me.

I bought the two PS4 games when they were on sale and both are excellent.
I think these are both great additions to the plus library.

VVVVVV has been on my vita wish list for a while. I have it on 3DS and enjoyed it.
So I'm very happy to be getting that for free. I will give Color Guardians a go too.

Well, Sony did a good job with the long con that is PS+.  Put in good ps3 games before ps4 release to smooth over that shock of going from free MP to paid service.  Then replace those almost entirely with games that most of us won't ever even download.

To be fair, even though they are all indie games and I own all but one on other systems, they at least are good games (Invisible, Inc., and VVVVVV in particular).

Obviously it's smart because it worked. Might have been different if Sony had to fight for our attention in 2013 instead of sitting back and watching MS implode. Sony switched attitudes soon as they started "winning" the console market. Remember getting Bioshocks, Infamous, Dragon's Dogma, Sleeping Dogs, and other high quality games?

I didn't buy my PS4 to play mobile games. Foolish would be playing any mediocre looking game I have access to even if history shows I likely won't enjoy them. I went from willingly paying for Plus before PS4 released to only paying for it because MP is held hostage. Buying a Vita and getting Uncharted, Wipeout, and Gravity Rush for free = ho lee fuk.

Two bads don't make one right. They are complaining because they charge 60$ a year for basically allowing games to access their own servers. The games are just an excuse for the price, Also that PS3 is 10 years old and it never charged for online gaming.

The only thing I'm interested in is Invisible Inc. I already have Stories (haven't played it yet smh) and Color Guardians which I played a lot of so not too mad about that.

Color Guardians is really fun so glad ya'll get to try it out.

Don't give a shit about the other 3 games so meh month for me.

That was never the case.

Obviously it's smart because it worked. Might have been different if Sony had to fight for our attention in 2013 instead of sitting back and watching MS implode. Sony switched attitudes soon as they started "winning" the console market. Remember getting Bioshocks, Infamous, Dragon's Dogma, Sleeping Dogs, and other high quality games?

I didn't buy my PS4 to play mobile games. Foolish would be playing any mediocre looking game I have access to even if history shows I likely won't enjoy them. I went from willingly paying for Plus before PS4 released to only paying for it because MP is held hostage. Buying a Vita and getting Uncharted, Wipeout, and Gravity Rush for free = ho lee fuk.

Only one of those games is a mobile game. The rest are console games with three of them being great (Invisible Inc, Stories, and VVVVVV) that open-minded people may very well enjoy if they didn't already own them.

To be fair, three of them are available on mobile (Invisible, Inc., VVVVVV and Tiny Troopers). Granted the first two were on PC and/or console first (think VVVVVV actually came to mobile after PC but before consoles).

Invisible and VVVVVV are excellent games though.

BioShock is on mobile along with many other console games, but they're still not mobile games. They're just ports to mobile. It's just a close-minded attitude to have about anything that isn't big budget.

VVVVVV was PC > 3DS > Ouya > iOS/Android, so it hit handheld and console before mobile.

Ouya runs on Android so despite it being called a "console" it more or less ran mostly Android games and a some exclusives. So it was on PC and handheld (3DS) but did not hit PS4 (first real console) and Vita until after mobile.

But like I said it's a fantastic game so no argument there.

Honestly, even if it was a mobile game first, the bias against mobile is unwarranted as there are some fantastic games on mobile -- some of which did well enough to get console ports.

I'm not downplaying any of the games this month. Just happen to own three of them on mobile.

(FWIW, BioShock was a horrible console port to mobile and pretty much abandoned by 2K which is sad)

Personally I blame Trump, Obama, Clinton and Jill Stein for the travesty that is PS+.
