2tb or bust. Don't waste your time on only 1tb, not worth the effort.

I installed the 2tb Seagate ripped from the external drive (not a Firecuda), and it works great. Lost my P.T. demo though, since my backup failed.

I know I do. When I first got my Batman PS4 I put a 2TB hard drive in. Didn't even bother playing it because I knew I would need a 2TB and would have to transfer everything. Now it's full and I'm trying to figure out what to delete. At first I didn't realize that it installed everything even if you had a physical disc.

To the point you think someone had the audacity to like the holiday sale... what kind of narcissistic thinking is this? December saw some of the best sales on PSN probably ever.. the gaf thread and other forums were talking about how the sales were rivaling steam sales of old.. only week 3 and the flash sale were luls.. meanwhile Xbox and Steam were terrible.. maybe you need a little self reflection and to realign and identify what constitutes a good sale for everyone not just yourself..

I honestly didn't expect any of it to show up, given their track record so far, but it would have been nice. What I have on my wish list is pretty much DLC and digital-only games. Most of the sales they had were on full retail games. I have a couple rules, one of them being that if a game is on disc, I will buy it on disc. The other is that if a game is $20 or over, I damn well better receive it on disc.

Some of the full digital-only games I have on my list, such as Job Simulator and Surgeon Simulator VR are relatively new, so I understand them not being on sale yet. But I've had the Assassin's Creed: Black Flag PS4 Season Pass and Aveline DLC on my wishlist for almost a year now. The full game has been on sale, including the "Deluxe Version" with all DLC, plenty of times, even during the holiday sale, but not simply the DLC, which is what I need for my retail copy before I can start playing it. Other DLC, both new and old, include the DLC for Goat Simulator, Zen Pinball 2, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, even Tokyo Jungle (going back to PS3 days...)

Just wish they'd discount DLC and Season Passes every so often.

This is just sad. When they actually had some decent stuff on sale (Axiom Verge) it was for only like 2 days with no banner information on the store whatsoever.

5 Tuesdays in January, don't know if that would have anything to do with why both the first 2 weeks would be lackluster, less time to talk to publishers about sales since they are so close to the holidays. The first Tuesday of 2016 also had an extremely lackluster sale of like 3 items.

Anyone planning on getting Yakuza 0 or Resident Evil 7 at launch? Can't decide if I should keep my $38 preorders at Best Buy.

I have Yakuza 0 preordered on Amazon. I don't buy many PS4 games, but that was one I couldn't pass up.

I'd suggest paying attention to this thread more than the PS Store since Axiom Verge was on sale for three or four weeks.

Finally back into Dark Souls 3.  Season pass been on sale ever?  Seems to me sales on passes typically don't happen until all DLC has been released.

Yakuza 0 definitely, even though I won't be able to play it right away. Gotta support the franchise.

RE7 is a maybe. It's not something I feel I need to play right away. There are other games that interest me more coming out this month like Gravity Rush 2, Tales of Berseria, and Fate/Extella.

In all seriousness, though, I've noticed they rarely put season passes on sale, but they do occasionally, and yes, sometimes it's before all the DLC is released. I believe the new Doom game did that a couple months ago, had the Season Pass some 20-something percent off, but all to DLC isn't out yet. Not sure about Dark Souls 3's pass, though. If is has, it hasn't gone down enough since I still don't have it.
